I'mma just point out, constantly referencing Relink as having been a risk because Versus didn't do amazing is very much not true when Relink has been in development since 2016. And had to restart development from scratch at about the time when Versus was announced because Relink was originally being made by Platinum Games; right at the time when that company shit the bed and Cygames switched to developing the game internally.
Relink has been a money-hole for 8 years. Versus has basically nothing to do with it being made.
