This was one of the best overviews of this product to date. I own a pair with prescription transition lenses and your points were spot on!!!
Thanks. what is your favourite feature?
@@GoodOptometryMorning while on vacation, look at this building/object then tell me what it is and its history.
I have mine on order with my prescription and transition lenses to have sunglasses as well.
My mic randomly stopped working after just 2 weeks. Tried everything to fix it but now I am returning them under warranty. Seems a common problem if you Google it. Occasionally the mic starts working for a few minutes but then breaks down again..
Very informative video! thank you so much for sharing your experience and your professional view! 😊 I am waiting for mine to arrive. Really hoping they will increase the video duration limit to 5 or 10 minutes. That would cover all my use cases.
Glad it was helpful!
FYI they just updated the firmware to do video call with it.
Thanks for the update. Did it include anything else? Which country are you in?
@@GoodOptometryMorning I'm in the US. The main updated is you are able to use glass camera for video call and some security updates
I have some on order and I have worn ray bans for over 30 years. I tried them on in the store next to actual ray bans and they were very similar in size. I want to wear as prescriptions but on the ray ban website it said my prescription isn’t supported. I do have bad eyesight but I always get high index lenses and they are quite thin. It is my understanding that maybe Lencrafters has the same restriction. Do you see any reason why a third party would not fit these?
not sure on the reasons, however because the frame has embedded electronics there is a limited amount of adjusting that can be done in the insertion of lenses
I wear glasses all the time and they are transition also. My normal sunglasses that are ray ban are polarised also though. Do they do these in transition and polarised? Or is that not a good idea in all day glasses?
You can get Transition polarized but they are not completely clear indoors
Hmm ok. Will look into it. Thanks
