The emotions (specifically from Gabi) felt quite forced here (only saying that because Gabi is usually exceptional at emoting, it comes so naturally to her)...but here it felt like she was trying too hard to project the emotions but wasn't quite getting it...which feels very odd for her...as she's better at emoting than Gui.

Ils savent faire autant dans la gaité avec leur programme court que l'intensité et la profondeur de l'amour dans ce programme. P/C have own unique style and grace on the ice. Some of their programmes deeply touched me and I can rewatch them so often. But it's so boring to watch similar FDs over and over again! Where are creativity and diversity? Where is desire to create something fresh? This programme is beautiful and I know that when I'll be in the right mood, it will touch me. But still they are too predictable.
Honey they are far from the best ice dancers in the world, many teams have come before them with much stronger skills, more imaginative programs and artistic ability

The choice of music is certainly brave and innovative but the performance itself is not much different than their usual (amazing but usual) work except for the moment at 0:53 and choreographic hydroblade....The skating is much too open, separate and stationary...I do love to see partners skating really close together, fast and with deep edges (which, they do pretty well) which is lacking quite a bit here.
except for a few pure contemporary moves at 50 seconds in, their FD is literally the same thing they've done every single year with MORE open holds (do they have ANY holds there?), separate skating (they might as well be single skaters without jumps) and long periods of stationary choreo.LOL. they should go dance in studios instead of the ice. close hold moving skating is integral for ice dance. and ofcourse as always play any of their other FD music in the background and it'll look like they're performing to the original music .cuz their range of musicality is just one .and they don't have to worry about musicality here cuz there's no music at all...with the spoken word bit at least they have some depth and definition but alas the spoken word is there for mere seconds...the rest is just a tinnitus tone.
I can't wait for the whole "skating side by side, while sad" thing to go out of style again. hopefully one summer day in 2022, the judges will suddenly decide to reward close holds and other difficult whatnot in ice dance.
This is one of the most boring ice dance I have ever watched. All they are doing is a few moves from previous programs and no dancing what so ever. I don’t think this is going to go over well with the judges this year. Also I find their coaches seem to be all for them and not really bother with the other teams. Are they even trying to give them easier programs. C/B dance was beautiful and so was S/F. At least they were dancing
@@susan4077 They are doing some contemporary dancing in this program. And it has more new moves and elements than most of their previous programs. You don't see that because you don't like them and don't want to see. Emotionally, musically and even in terms of elements this program is not easy. I doubt anyone of the current ice dancers could do it half as convincingly as they do it.

Park Michaels i agree, even the costumes are the same, they just change the color. All their dances have the same choreography, the same expressions of nothing. You can put any music and the result will be thw same. I hope any other couple can compete with them in the next years.
It's the first time I see them skating. At first I thought it was wonderful, but after watching it a second time I realised there's no chemistry between them whatsoever. They might as well be dancing singles. He is a good dancer though. He'd probably be better off dacing ballet than on the ice.
But they are a partner and already become a legend that made history in ice dance discipline. Guillaume said indeed one of his hobby is dancing but, he also said he loves skating and thankful that his partner is gabi. They are completing each other and that's what makes them perfect. Their chemistry is there. I recommend you to watch their other fd program.
I disagree. Normally I hate it when skaters use songs with lyrics because for me it just doesn't fit with the atmosphere they want audiences to feel. But this was suitable and made it more beautiful.
These two have succeeded in boring me yet again. There’s nothing new here guys, it’s all the same choreography to different music. Yes it is artistic but there’s very little risk, it’s just the same program reworked every year. They won’t be untouchable much longer, as it is couples have beaten or come very close to beating them, I think there’s a few that could easily beat them this year or at least make it very hard to them to easily take the world title

On the other hand, when it is blasted through amplifiers in a huge arena and sporting event, none of the subtlety translates well. It sounds like preaching, or as in my childhood experience, propaganda.
People are going on how modern and classic this is. Do you remember when V/M did carem and introduced this is Carmen. No one will ever be as versatile as they were and never have a 22 year career. These guys just do the same thing over and over and take other dancers moves like hydro blading that B/K invented

I like them, but I don't like the soundtrack. It's too distracting for have to listen to a narrative.
