Very nice. Teared up a bit. He was also the first CEO of Nintendo that wasn't a familial relation since the company was started in 1884 when they made playing cards.
I just want to jump in before everyone just starts calling out names: When people such as Iwata-san pass away, many people are affected, not all, but many. And to those who were not affected, you don't NEED to feel sad, but remember that a man, a good man for that matter, has still passed away. I hate to state the cliché, but there's a time and a place for everything. That aside, thank you, Fraser, for putting together this tribute. Iwata-san, you will be missed.
I was kind of surprised you did the tribute at the start of the video but it fits. A tribute will always be bitter sweet. Iwata, I think is someone that I admire and respect. My sympathies to his friends, family, Nintendo, and all those that were touched by his life and death. There's so much one could say... Thanks for everything, Mr. Iwata.
Things i will never do:
See iwata in person.
Talk with Iwata.
Beat Iwata at mario kart.
Not miss iwata.
I keep learning and seeing more stuff about Iwata and it just makes me appreciate and miss him even more.

He went into college in 1978, the year I was born. Coincidence?!

What can I say, Raptor Jesus? I love to comment, and I fucking love this show.
Hennikari Actually, I think I comment too much. I'm probably going to dial it back a bit.
When you do things right people won't be sure you did anything at all.
I now realize that Iwata was a great man.

That punchline was so good, it totally blind sided me.
Ah, yes, didn't think of that. Thank you.
I remember watching a few old E3 Iwata speeches before, then thinking that I wanted to hug this man one day. Sadly, this day will never come. ;n;
Damn i miss him already
Thanks for doing this Fraser

I love the fact that he calls that thing, "Nondescript Action Figure".
I was totally waiting for a 'ready player one' thing to happen after he passed.
R.I.P.
The man was Awesome! This makes me forget he's really dead and gone.
The feels... T-T
Becky 😍😍😍
at 27:05 Fraser mentions that he wanted to show Iwata's friendship with other developers; does anyone know what videos he's referring to?
Nathan Nguyen He was talking about raw footage from various other E3 shows or Nintendo conferences. It doesn't exist in just one video.
What e3 was the first speech from? I need to know for a citation.
Jabberwockxeno It was from the Nintendo's Game Developers Conference (GDC) in 2005.
