    You can't sue your children to make you pay them back for raising you. No court would hear such nonsense.

    That was a cute AI story
    The most fake part was the trial. Parents HAVE to pay for the child until 18, taking care of home, food and education. Not the other way around. Any 'compensation' would be if OP was the one suing the parents for lack of said home food and education.

      @@samanthawilson5450 you are aware courthouses have security with actual cops right? That you have to empty your pockets and go through detectors when you go through the door? You can got to jail just by trying to bring weapons in the court room outside of evidence. Knowing that, that’s also a sign that the pepper spray story you read was also fake as well.

      Duffel bag maybe, I mean there are women that walk around with bags/peruses that are the size of freezer bags. So him having a bag with a bat could be allowed if he was headed to baseball practice after the trial or something. At least that’s my guess and if anyone says why not leave it in the car, maybe they took the bus.

    I never heard of one of these assine cases working. It is a family taking advantage of success. The Law says for 18 years , parents must pay. It is that simple. This is not America. , not even the EU. Not sure what culture allows this type of situations.

    OP had me in the first half, not gonna lie. But the story falls apart at the court case. First of all, a lawyer would never agree to this, no matter how desperate. Second, a judge would immediately throw this case out because parents are LEGALLY OBLIGATED, to support their children until they turn 18. 3rd, maybe a local news station might report on this, but OP is not a celebrity, the news wouldn't care unless it was someone with wealth, fame, or power. OP needs to work on believablity.

  • @Henry.25
    @Henry.25 2 місяці тому

    Everyone is saying that the story is fake because of the idiotic part in the court, but there are several examples much earlier. The funniest for me is the good hearted college professor willing to help OP, even giving him extra classes. F off.
    In fact, the person who made this story deserves to have some points deducted because apparently the only experience he has with college dorms is with the American Pie movies.

  • @goatkiller666

    OP refers to CPS investigating her parents. By the name CPS. So the story is set in America. I’m curious how Jacob managed to smuggle a baseball bat into an American courtroom. There should be arms guards and x-ray machines at every point of ingress. Even a regulation wooden bat is dense enough to be easily seen by x-ray. And not only did he sneak in a bat, he apparently had a bag big enough to comfortably fit a bat inside. Just seems unlikely in a post 9/11 world.
    Further, though more believable that the above, it seems odd that the two parents raised OP and then Jacob. Their abusive parenting that resulted in all that emotional trauma for OP… how did Jacob come out of that same household. The whole ‘golden child’ thing only happens when both children grow up together. But they had never met before the trial. Her parents raised her to be small. To not push back. They raised him to feel entitled to preferential treatment. So entitled that he would somehow smuggle a baseball bat through armed security checkpoints with the intent to aggressively defend what he thought was his. Maybe it’s a gender thing? I mean, they clearly raised both kids poorly. But poorly in entirely different ways.

    How do you provoke someone when it's the parents that created the problem? Why wasn't the bag checked or held onto by security? And a 17 yo is not a child acting out. It's a person committing criminal acts that the parents told him to because they couldn't stand that they were wrong.

    In what kinda counties do you all live that you got that kind of security in family courts? 😂 Where I live there's no checking bags or metal gate. There might be an information desk or just signs where the rooms are. Inside the court room there's a security guard, but only for physical fights. They're more checking any bags.
    This is not a criminal court room.

What could have been five minutes max of background stretched to fifteen, the unnecessary detail emotions are described in (some level of detail can be believable, but dragging on a description for a whole paragraph is ridiculous), and long the aftermath drags on.
