- This tenth chapter of the documentary series, Alaskan: A Modern Day Gold Rush, we take a look at modern day gold miners on the beach of Nome, Alaska. The beaches of Nome (and just offshore) are literally littered with gold. This discovery became a new promised land for the Stampeders of the Great Klondike Gold Rush of the late 1800's, and sparked a new gold rush in Nome. To this day, miners are still finding gold in this rich sand. We also check in with the participants of the Gold Prospectors Association of America's Alaska Gold Expedition. Tune in for dredging, panning, and highbanking for gold in Nome.
This show has been a lot of fun to watch. It makes me want to break out my Gold Cube and run some of the buckets in the driveway.
I’ve just got to “central” Alaska and love watching this series. Itching for each new release
Love watching this series!!!
The easement trail is free to work but you'll get harassed by native corporations and private landowners.
12 ounces of gold is a pound !!
lmao 100 ounce guy hope he makes it , if not will be just one more name on a stick stuck in the dirt
You could do an ounce a day ounce and a half on the beaches up here It's little hard to do other than moving the dirt but you can hit some spots that are just a couple buckets you'll have a couple ounces I know this from experience because I live here.
Isn't the Cripple river camp closed down since like 2015?..Is this old footage?..
It is, re-edited or just re-aired
