I love your videos being SHORT and to the point!! Most educational videos ads far too long for most people who’d love to watch but can’t due to time restrictions
3:35 ultra prime hang gliding launch! Such a cool opportunity with Dave going to so many iconic places in the world, especially Israel, and gorgeous places like this cliff. And then to think, Jesus probably stood there too! Love me some Drive Thru History :-)
First of all i want to say many thanks for showing history about the bible. It helps me alot to understand everything. My most favorite story is the fishermen and Jesus out to the storm. I love Matthew 17:20 2nd of all, i watched so many videos and it makes me wonder how come u know so much??
Found this on Tubi TV. This is a very cool series. Another way cool one is "Drive Thru History - Acts to Revelations". So well done, so fast paced, so fun and enjoyable. Makes it very easy to understand! This and The Chosen are THE BEST Bible Teaching video series.
But you haven't answered why Jesus was run out of Nazareth. Here's what really happened in that synagogue. In Luke 4:21, Jesus mentioned that this Scripture is fulfilled. In verse 22, the congregation was not shocked nor outraged by this statement. Curiously, it said that "they marveled at the gracious words coming out of his mouth". So, why the sudden in now wanting to kill him? Because of what he said afterwards, about the stories of the widows and lepers. Verse 28 sums it: "When they heard THESE things, they were filled with wrath". What really made them so mad was not Jesus' messianic claims, but the new revelation that that the Kingdom is now going to be given (or shared) with gentiles - the ultimate affront for them.
Love Dave always. At 12 years old Jesus was already spending time in the temple with teachers of the Law discussing scripture, might He really have lived an average life between 12 years and 30 years old?
My lord was quite funny. Spent 30 years disguising as a common man. Then on his 30th birthday went for John's baptism and told his folks he is the ONE!
So if someone in your Methodist , Catholic, etc church, someone you grew up with stands up and claims to be the messiah you believe him right! Or you are walking down the street someone starts telling you that he is the son of God you immediately believe him. Someone knocks on your door that wants to come into your home to tell you about a new religion you have to believe in you better listen to him because if you don't he will wipe the dust off his feet and your whole town will suffer the fate of Sodom and Gomorrah. Perhaps the people remember how when the Roman soldiers were killing the infants in your town baby Jesus just happened to be in Egypt. How did they know and why didn't they tell anyone else about what they were told about the murders that were about to take place back then?
I don't believe that Jesus lived in Nazareth as a carpenter for the 18 years that was not accounted for in the Gospels. He told His parents in the temple, I must be about my Father's work. And He was. One Dr. Gene Scott, who died in 2005, used to teach - and it was his teaching that converted me from atheism - that Joseph of Aremethea (spelling?) was the Virgin Mary's uncle, and that he and Jesus spent that 18 years traveling the whole world, including the America's, bringing the news that a King had been born. Then when He returned to Nazareth, the people were in doubt about His identity. Isn't that Joseph the carpenter's son? They weren't sure because they hadn't seen Him for 18 years.

Even his own family didn't believe Jesus was the long awaited messiah, but he was, and Isaiah's scripture was fulfilled in their ears that very day.

Interesting.
He lived in King Herman house a servant and King Herman took Jerusalem called him there Jesus Nazareth not Jesus generation 2 different generations
The religious leaders were the adversaries (satan) of Jesus all throughout the gospels.
