The Palestinians are not genetically Arabs, and neither are the Egyptians, nor the Iraqis, and most of the peoples of the Arab logic, their language and affiliation are like the rest of the Middle Eastern countries. A few corrections - until 1964, the Arabs of Palestine resented being called Palestinians because during the Ottoman occupation of the area, it was considered part of Syria and didn't have a name of its own. The name "Palestine" was original given to the area by a Roman emperor to disown the Jews from their homeland as punishment for their revolt to his occupation. The name Palestine can't even be pronounced in the Arabic language, for the lack of the consonant P. The name Palestine was reinstated by the British who conquered the region from the Ottomans during WW1, which further fueled the Arabs' disdain for the name. The British mandate of Palestine originally included what is now Jordan and the original division was meant to grant a larger state for the Arabs in Jordan, and the smaller part, west of the river Jordan, to the Jews. The Arabs, being hostile to the British and the Jews, refused and proceeded to wage the riots of 1937 causing many casualties. None of those who claim that their lands were "stolen" had actually owned those lands. They were dislocated the same way every other refugee does after a war and the drawing of borders. The same happened in Pakistan/India, East/West Germany and many other places after WW2 to tens of millions of people. Only when Yasser Arafat, an Egyptian-born militant, trained by the Russians to create a resistance to the American influence in Israel during the Cold War, created the "Palestinian identity" was it largely adopted. Soon after, the Arab nations in the UN pushed to grant the newly self-appointed Palestinians a SPECIAL refugee status, one that is perpetual through progeny, unlike the rest of the refugees in the rest of the world. The reason being, to create a never-ending humanitarian crisis for the Palestinians, to be used as a political crutch to exert political and security pressure on the Israeli state. That pressure quickly escalated to constant terror attacks on Israeli civilians and the retaliatory responses that followed which culminated in the war raging there today. In summary, there's absolutely no proven connection between the Philistines and the Palestinians other than a tenuous etymological similarity because of a vengeful Roman emperor. The Palestinians can't even prove their ancestry as "Palestinian" since it doesn't exist nor has it ever. The vast majority of them trace their ancestry to Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Jordan and Syria.
And your point is? this is a typical diarrhea of facts (giving you the benefit of doubt) that don't contribute to the discussion. Golda Meir and everyone else who lived in that area had a Palestine ID. So, it is a fact that it was called Palestine. Period. For the rest of the arguments about ownership or right to be there, the Zionists quote god's word from more than 2,000 years ago as proof that it's their land. So, we should give lands back to people all over the world based on how it was thousands of years ago?? Ridiculous!
Vengeful Roman emperor you say? What would you say about American slave holders that stripped their slaves of their identity and culture consciousness by wiping out their very names and substituting them with European ones?
There are a few inaccuracies here. The Arabs only started referring to themselves as Palestinians in the mid 1960s when Arafat decided with the Soviet Union that this would be a stick to beat Israel with. Prior to 1948, it was Arabs and Palestinians (Jews) who lived in the region.

The detail about the Romans renaming Judea to Palestine after the Bar Kokhba revolt was fascinating and new to me. It raises an intriguing question: was this just a political act by the Romans to suppress Jewish identity, or did it have lasting cultural and psychological impacts that continue to affect the identity of the region today? Could this renaming still be influencing the ongoing national identity struggles between Israelis and Palestinians?

@@aliceandcat2228 well that is because in those times lands were named after people. For example the afrik are a people that were in what now is Africa. So the romans named that land afrik. Of course there were other people there as well but they not encountered them. Because the romans ruled for hundreds of years in large pieces of the then “connected world” , that name they used got spread out in that connected world. Is not a matter of romans being the officials in naming places, it’s more that everyone else absorbed those names in their own language. The name Palestine is such perfect example. Why do people still call that Palestine if the original name was Judah?
The origin of the name "Palestine" for the land of Israel is very ancient. The copyright for this nickname is registered in the name of the father of historians Herodotus, who lived in the 5th century BC.
The historical progression you’ve outlined illustrates the layers of empires, kingdoms, and states that governed the region now known as Israel and Palestine. This sequence highlights a critical point: the land has been part of various political entities throughout history, none of which were specifically a "Palestinian state" in the modern sense before the establishment of Israel. From ancient times, the land was home to diverse peoples and cultures, starting with Canaanite city-states. Following this period, the Kingdoms of Israel and Judah emerged, marking the region’s association with the Jewish people. The Babylonian and Persian Empires later controlled the area, succeeded by Alexander the Great's empire and its Hellenistic successors, such as the Seleucid Empire and the Hasmonean state. The Roman Empire brought significant transformation, followed by the Byzantine Empire, which was then overtaken by Islamic caliphates like the Umayyads and Fatimids. The Crusaders formed the Kingdom of Jerusalem before Islamic powers like the Mamluks reasserted control. The Ottoman Empire ruled the land for centuries before the British Mandate took over following World War I. What stands out in this chronology is the absence of a sovereign Palestinian state at any point in history until the modern concept of Palestinian nationalism arose in the 20th century. This movement was shaped largely by regional political shifts, colonial legacies, and reactions to the establishment of Israel in 1948. This timeline reflects the complexity of territorial and historical claims. It underscores the need for understanding history in its nuanced context, avoiding oversimplifications while acknowledging the longstanding connections and disputes over this land.
I always thought the Philistines (beeing sailors from Crete) sailed on ships in the sea while the Palestinians (beeing Bedouins from Arabia) sailed on camels in the desert 😇
Everyone seems to get this wrong, the Philistines were from Crete, so, essentially Greek. In AD 70, there was a Jewish revolt in Israel, and the ruling force were the Romans who sacked Israel, forced the Jews to leave, and renamed it Palestine. What you have to understand is that Israel in Hebrew means "to wrestle " or "he who wrestles with God" and 'Palestine ' also means to wrestle, but in Greek this time. Basically, the Romans, after the revolt, called the land of Israel Palestine to further disconnect the Jews from their homeland.
Regarding the Philistines, I guess you have not read the book of Genesis (Hamitic) or seen multiple glazed brick reliefs that show the Philistines very dark brown skin in vivid color, full lips, etc. The same type of method was used for the Shemitic Elamites at the Royal Palace in Susa, Persia. They are even darker in skin tone. BTW, Google the British Museum, the Elamite phenotype is on full display in multiple exhibits. I'm assuming you are interested in truth instead of deception.

The Philistines and Palestinians are two distinct groups with separate histories and ancestries. *Philistines:* - Ancient Eastern Mediterranean people - Originated from the Aegean region (present-day Greece) - Settled in Canaan (present-day Israel and Gaza) around 1200 BCE - Mentioned in the Hebrew Bible as enemies of the Israelites - Disappeared from historical records after the Assyrian conquest (7th century BCE) *Palestinians:* - Modern Arab people living in the region of Palestine (West Bank, Gaza, and Israel) - Descended from various ancient and medieval populations, including: - Canaanites - Arabs (7th century CE conquest) - Ottoman and British rule immigrants - Formed a distinct national identity in the 20th century - Seek self-determination and statehood *Ancestry and Connection:* While the Philistines and Palestinians share a geographic connection, there is no direct ancestral link. The Philistines disappeared as a distinct people centuries ago, and the Palestinians emerged from a mix of cultures and migrations. *Palestinians as a People Group:* Yes, Palestinians are a recognized people group with: 1. Distinct national identity 2. Shared culture, language (Arabic), and history 3. Self-identification as a people 4. International recognition (e.g., UN observer state status) Similar to the Jewish people, Palestinians have: 1. A claim to ancestral lands 2. A desire for self-determination and statehood 3. A rich cultural heritage However, the Palestinian identity is complex, with diverse origins and influences. *Key Differences:* 1. Historical continuity: Jews have maintained a continuous cultural and religious identity despite diaspora and persecution. Palestinians' national identity formed relatively recently. 2. Ancestral ties: Jews have a documented historical connection to the land of Israel. Palestinians' ancestral connections are more complex and multifaceted. In summary, while the Philistines and Palestinians share a geographic connection, they are distinct groups with separate ancestries. Palestinians are a recognized people group with a unique identity, culture, and history.

The funny thing is when I debate these people, I actually grant their argument. I let them claim they are the descendants of Philistines and I'll tell you why. These people feel they have the right to claim the entire Levant because they're the descendants of the Philistines. Guess what? The only land the Philistines controlled was essentially what we call "Gaza" today. So therefore, even if we are the most charitable to their position, we actually have to take their land from them. The Philistines never controlled the West Bank, that was Judea. It's time to redraw the lines to ancient times!

Most of it is true but the khazars were a turkic people not a european so that part doesnt make sense. You are trying to undermine the Jewish rights for their state but that has no sense to it I do suspect you hold some concerning biological beliefs (that were populare from the 1920-1945 area). No population lived without mixing. Jews were conquered many time by many empires but the true exile happend around 6-8 century AD by the Arab empire colonial forces. Since then Jews kept their religion language and culture wherever they were. See Ethiopian Jews etc that proved to retain the same Jewish roots and are now Israeli citizens. Since our exile we kept repeating each year: next year in Jerusalem as we never gave up our dream of returning to our home land. So yes some went to Europe, some to Africa some to Asia. Still Jews, still Israelis. Still keeping our de colonial projects and trying to protect western and biblical beliefs (which came from Jewish and Christian roots)

"Palestinian" is an invention of an identity. Judaean Arabs are what it is.
Thank you from Nagaland India❤

One of the Catholic agent is Muhammad the idiot of mecca who filollowed the new made religion of Islam without yet prophet and he was the made up prophet of the Catholic Roman Empire
It was just as a punishment. They exciled most of the Jews and the renaming was to disconnect them from their land: Germans lived in germanica, Gauls in Gaul , romans from Rome. And now the Jews were not from Judea anymore but from palestine.
@@mauritsdohmen4170 Who made Rome the officials in naming and renaming territories? If US renamed Iraq to Goatlovers, does it automatically make the people of Iraq Goatloverians? It's people has the right to reclaim the land and renamed it to what it once was...Iraq. Just like Israelites has the right to reclaim the lands stolen from them and renamed it back to what it once was.

Philistine vs Palestine vs Philippines😂😂😂😂
Watching from Philippines🇵🇭✝️❤️

*Philistines:*
- Ancient Eastern Mediterranean people
- Originated from the Aegean region (present-day Greece)
- Settled in Canaan (present-day Israel and Gaza) around 1200 BCE
- Mentioned in the Hebrew Bible as enemies of the Israelites
- Disappeared from historical records after the Assyrian conquest (7th century BCE)
*Palestinians:*
- Modern Arab people living in the region of Palestine (West Bank, Gaza, and Israel)
- Descended from various ancient and medieval populations, including:
- Canaanites
- Arabs (7th century CE conquest)
- Ottoman and British rule immigrants
- Formed a distinct national identity in the 20th century
- Seek self-determination and statehood
*Ancestry and Connection:*
While the Philistines and Palestinians share a geographic connection, there is no direct ancestral link. The Philistines disappeared as a distinct people centuries ago, and the Palestinians emerged from a mix of cultures and migrations.
*Palestinians as a People Group:*
Yes, Palestinians are a recognized people group with:
1. Distinct national identity
2. Shared culture, language (Arabic), and history
3. Self-identification as a people
4. International recognition (e.g., UN observer state status)
Similar to the Jewish people, Palestinians have:
1. A claim to ancestral lands
2. A desire for self-determination and statehood
3. A rich cultural heritage
However, the Palestinian identity is complex, with diverse origins and influences.
*Key Differences:*

The Philistines were a sea peoples whose DNA establishes their roots in the Crete and European costal regions.

Maybe you didn't know, most if the Palestinians have more jewish DNA than most of the Israelis. The fact is that a lot of the Palestinians today have ancestors who were the original isrealites, beccause they now speak Arabic doesn't mean they are not indigenous to the land, the same of which cannot be said of the European Ashkenazis jews whose ancestors were Khazarian converts to judaism
Thank you for the absolute truth!
Danke, das ist korrekt.
Most of it is true but the khazars were a turkic people not a european so that part doesnt make sense. Also the fact that the jews from europe brought back and revived the ancient hebrew language replacing arabic that was brought there as a colonialist language carries some cultural and historical value too. Both groups have a right to be in israel and be considered hebrews
You are wrong and misleading.
Do you know israel has Ashkenazi Jews and eastern Jews (that lived in Arab zones) where did they came from?
You are trying to undermine the Jewish rights for their state but that has no sense to it
I do suspect you hold some concerning biological beliefs (that were populare from the 1920-1945 area).
Philistines were completely dest, but modern Palestinians are nomadic tribes of mixed groups

Could Edom have been their ancient homeland, because of Esau?
The population of Palestine are clearly of mixed heritage, with many having European traits. To call them Arabs is untrue.
Oh but it is they are tied closer to Arabs than to Europeans just like how Jews and Samaritans are tied closer to the Israelites as we know all Jews are close genetically and spiritually and the closest group of Jews that resembles more the Israelites are the cohanim and Jerusalem Jews and Samaritans are also very close to the Israelites while Palestinians are closely tied to the sons of esave which if I’m not mistaken is the name of the brother of Jacob the grandson of Abraham and is the father of all Arabs

The Qur’an corrects the Bible - Part 1
May God’s peace, mercy, and blessings be upon you. This is a simple comparison between the Bible and the Qur’an about the attributes of God and some important issues. I will not miss you, my loved ones in God, with God’s blessing
I- attributes of GOD almighty, may He be glorified and exalted :
1-Tiredness :
Bible: Exodus 31/17
“For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, and on the seventh day he rested and was refreshed.”
Qur’an: Surah Qãf, verse 38
{And We created the heavens and the earth and all that is between them in six days, and no fatigue has touched Us.}
2- forgetfulness :
Bible: Psalm 13/1
“How long, O Lord, will You completely forget me? How long will you hide your face from me?
Qur’an: Surah Taha, verse 52
{In a book(of universal decrees): My Lord neither errs nor forgets}
3-sleep :
Bible: Psalm 44/23
"I wake up! Why do you ignore me, Lord? I notice! “Do not be rejected forever.”
Qur’an: Surah Al-Baqarah, verse 255
{GOD, there is none worthy of worship but Him, the Ever-Living, the Ever-Subsisting. Neither slumber nor sleep overtakes Him}
4-Hearing and responding to prayers :
Bible: Book of Habakkuk 1/2
“How long, O Lord, will I call and you will not hear? I cry out to you because of injustice, and you do not save?
Quran: Surah Ibrahim, verse 36
{Praise be to God who gave me Ishmael and Isaac in my old age. Indeed, my Lord hears the supplications}
Surat Taha verse 7:
{And if you say something (bear in mind that)he knows the secret and what's more hidden}
5-Eyesight and seeing :
Bible: 2 Kings 19/16
“16 Incline your ear, O Lord, and hear. Open your eyes, O Lord, and see, and hear the words of Sennacherib, whom he has sent to reproach the living God.”
Qur’an: Surah Al-Hujurat, verse 18
{Indeed, God knows the unseen (and the secrets) of the heavens and the earth, and God is All-Seeing of what you do}
6-The Promise :
Bible: Psalm 89/39
“You have broken the covenant of your servant, you have defiled his crown in the dust.”
Quran: Surat Al-Rum, verse 6
{God's Promise: God does not break His promise, but most people do not know}
7-Justice :
Bible: Book of Job 19
6 Know then that God has perverted me, and has twisted his ropes around me.
7 Behold, I cry out wrongly, and I am not heard. I pray and there is no judgment.
Quran: Surah Yunus, verse 44
{Indeed, God does not wrong people in the slightest, but it is the people who wrong themselves}
Surat An-Nisa, verse 40:
{Indeed, GOD does not wrong even the weight of an atom, and if it is a good deed, He will multiply it and give from Himself a great reward}
8-Power :
Bible: Genesis 32:25-29
"Jacob was left alone, and a man wrestled with him until dawn. When he saw that he could not overcome Jacob in this struggle, he struck his hip socket and it was dislocated...
Then he said, “Your name will no longer be called Jacob, but Israel, for you have overcome God and people and have prevailed.”
Qur’an: Surat Al-Hajj, verse 74
{they(wicked people) haven't respected the right of GOD though GOD is strong almighty}
9-Ressemblance :
Bible: Genesis 1:26
God said: “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness
Qur’an: Surah Ash-Shura, verse 11{There is nothing like Him, and He is the All-Hearing, the All-Seeing}
II-GOD's teachings :
1-Dealing :
Bible: 2 Samuel 22
“26 “With the merciful you will be merciful. With a perfect man you will be perfect.
27 With the pure you will be clean, and with the perverse you will be crooked.”
Qur’an: Surah An-Nisa, verse 135
{O you who have believed, be upholders of justice as witnesses to GOD, even if it is against yourselves or the parents and the relatives, whether he be rich or poor, for GOD (is More Merciful to them. And more aware of them), so do not follow desires lest you shouldn't be just. But if you distort(the testimony)or turn away(from witnessing with the truth), then surely GOD is ever aware of what you do.}
2-Usury with a foreigner :
Bible: Deuteronomy 23
19 “You shall not lend usury to your brother, interest of money, usury of food, or usury of anything that is lent on usury.
20 To a foreigner you may lend on interest, but to your brother you shall not lend on interest. May the Lord your God bless you in all that you set your hand to in the land where you are entering. To own it.
Qur’an: Surah Al-Baqarah, the two verses
276
{Those who consume usury do not stand except as one stands whom Satan causes to be tossed by the touch of him. This is because they said, “Trade is only like usury, and God has made trade lawful and forbade usury, so whoever comes to him an admonition from his Lord and abstains from it, then he will have what he had before, and his affair is up to God. And whoever returns(in making usury lawful), then those are the inmates of the Fire. They will remain therein forever. And God eradicates usury and increases alms, and God does not like every sinful infidel.}
Surah Al Imran verse 130
{O you who have believed, do not consume usury (multiplied) many times over, and fear GOD that you may succeed.}
Surat Al-Rum verse 39
{And whatever you give usury to raise it in people’s wealth, (but) it does not raise with GOD, and whatever you give (obligatory)charity seeking the pleasure of GOD - it is they whom (their reward will be)multiplied.}
3-Lewdness and obscenity :
Bible: Book of Exodus 3
“21 And I will give favor to this people in the eyes of the Egyptians. For when you go, you will not go away empty-handed.
22 Rather, every woman shall ask of her neighbor and of her sojourner in her house, jewels of silver, and jewels of gold, and of garments, and you shall lay them out upon your sons and your daughters. How much? And you will plunder the Egyptians.”
Chapter 12-35
And the children of Israel did according to the word of Moses. They asked the Egyptians for articles of silver, articles of gold, and clothing.
Qur’an: Surah Al-A’raf, verse 28
{And when they commit an indecency, they say, “We found our fathers doing it, and God commanded us to do it.” Say, “Indeed, God does not command indecency. Do you say about God what you do not know?”
Surah An-Nahl, verse 90:
{God commands justice and goodness and kindness to relatives, and forbids indecency, abomination, and transgression. He exhorts you that you may remember.}
4-Punishing people for the sins of others:
Bible: Isaiah 14-21
“Prepare for his children to be killed for the iniquity of their fathers, so that they shall not arise, nor inherit the land, nor fill the face of the world with cities.”
Qur’an: Surah Al-An’am, verse 164
{Say: shall I seek a Lord other than God, when He is the Lord of all things, and every soul earns only according to its own deed, and no bearer of burdens bears the burden of another. Then to your Lord is your return. Where he will Tell you about what you differed.}
I can't imagine a religion coming 600 years after to correct another that existed before it, through a book written by one author as against a spiritual and historical documentary written by over 44 authors. How can the witness of those who lived with Jesus become inferior to the witness one man who didn't not only live within the same era but several eras later. Think about it?
@@nelsonngwueche623
what we're saying is that GOD is One in the most basic understanding of the term(as it has been always in all scriptures from Adam peace be on him passing by all prophets of GOD throughout history until judgment day), he does not beget nor was he begotten and there's none equal to him, there's nothing like Him and he is the All-Hearing, the All-Seeing. And that GOD in his being, image and attributs is high and far superior to his creatures including humanbeings, and that there's none worthy of worship except GOD alone without any associates and through absolutely no intermediaries whatsoever no matter what they are, And that Noah, Abraham, Moses, Jesus Christ, and Mohamed are merely humanbeings mortals, servants of GOD and messengers of GOD.
@@samilamine950 We have same belief too. God is one but has different manifestations. Just as water comes in form of solid, liquid and plasma. God is so all powerful that he chose to manifest himself to different dispensations in different forms and still does to date.
In old testament as El Shaddai, God Almighty, in Messiah era as Jesus, in the Apostolic era as Holy Spirit.
Since you started praying to Allah, has he spoken to you? Do you have a personal relationship with him? Can you relate him the way you relate with a person? Have you ever asked for forgiveness and know you have truly been forgiven? Have you ever been healed or seen people receive healing? My daughter Ife was healed of a heart disease which defied medicine. I have been healed many times. You pray to a God in Allah who is so remote, so distant, so unfeeling, whose scares. We pray to God who loves us so much that he talks to us just the way he talked to Adam and Moses.

Jordan, created by the British, was made from over 75% of the British mandate. Most of the mandate is the new Arab state of Jordan.
The Answer is Big NO!!..The Philistines was the People of the Book "Bible" coming from Greece and they are known also as the People of the Sea..while the Palistinies are not written in the Bible and they are Arabs came from Jordan and Yemen..some are Egyptians..
Palestinians palestine is the roman name for them and Philistine is the Greek name for a group of people who were from Crete but they fell under the Arab conquest and became Muslim and they lost their identity. They were there before the Israelites
