I believe that the angry raspy old school vocals mixed with the mellow sound of the guitars make this song perfect.Because heaviness and melody are balanced.
The vocals are old school cause you hear The Magus (George Zacharopoulos) in it, he is one of the Greek old school Black Metal myths of Greece. The guy is really something else, Jim Mutilator (ex Rotting Christ) found George again and that's what we' ve got to deal with now....YOTH IRIA !

I just bought the vinyl for this album just beutiful
I feel like there is a rejuvenation in black metal--taking the best bits of it like the blasting drumming, atmosphere, tremolo, and shrieking vocals--and casting off the tired 2edgy4u satanic schtick that's been done to death and making some really good music by exploring other lyrical topics, settings, and atmospheres.

New Wave Of Hellenic Black Metal
even if this is a new band, these 2 guys are grandfathers of black metal, not only greek, but in general. holding the flame since mid 80s. also this band is of huge significance for the fans of the genre, as it marks return to music of jim mutilator (rotting christ, varathron), one of the most prominent figures in the scene, who influenced lots of norwegian black metal legends like mayhem and darkthrone back in early 90s. as did the magus, the vocalist of the yoth iria, who was in rotting christ and necromantia.
Speaking of Black and Rock and Roll, do you guys know Barathrum? "I Am Very Possessed" and "Hellspawn" are two songs that put you exactly in this mood. They're heavy, they're dark, but at the same they make you feel like dancing.
