Yoth Iria was formed by Jim AKA Mutilator (Dimitris Patsouris), who was the first bassist and a founding member of the Greek black metal band Rotting Christ.
He was also the first bassist in Varathron. He appears on both Rotting Christ’s Thy Mighty Contract and Varathron’s His Majesty at the Swamp, two of Hellenic black metal’s most recognised and defining albums.

Awesome video! I was not aware of this band but wow, great song! Definitely heard a smidge of Rotting Christ in there, not a bad thing at all. Very solid track! 🤘🤘

This had a good feel to it. The drums were a bit repetitive but sounded really good. The guitar was on point threw the whole song. The vocals were not my favorite, but they fit the song really well.

Musically solid, tho not really my cup of tea for what I would listen to normally. Vocals were a bit grating by the end, but I suppose that is the style. I gave it a shot right? 😉

Something most people don't know is that Jim (mutilator) was also a major riff composer in first albums of Rotting Christ and Varathron. So, it's not coincidence that this album destroys.
