- We wanted to share a video of how we make our compost here on the homestead. This big pile of compost is undergoing the first turn. Making our own high quality compost has been one of our main objectives in getting our farms fertility program going. This compost started out as grass that we cut with our horses, then baled, and finally fed back to the horses. We then clean out our stalls and barnyard to create the big pile of compost you are seeing in the video.

@@robertward6867because tractors didn't exist back then. Have you seen all of his farm equipment that is used with the horses and mules? He even mows the grass without gasoline. Since he conserves fuel by using his horses for most of the work then he can splurge and use his brand new high dollar tractor and attachments to help out with bigger jobs. You really seem jealous.

They arranged their entire lives around their children & keep them out of danger by them not being shipped off to daycare. You can name anything about them that they are doing wrong as parents. You shouldn't be talking about parents because yours didn't teach you manners, etiquette ,kindness, respect compassion or the Golden Rule.
