I love this whole family! I recently downloaded the 2300 Jackson Street album & it's amazing! It makes me sad that it didn't do that well, it's a great album!

We were more likely listening to Luther Vandross! The MJ era was very racially divided. A few years after the 1984 Grammys Will Smith and others boycotted the show and put the Soul Train Awards on the map! IF you look closely at the Victory concerts you would find very few Black people in the audience!
Hey, you're right! He was a little too softspoken and lo-key in my opinion. A little more passion there would not have hurt. Many of the Jacksons siblings have a similar tone when they speak, which has its roots from back when they were members of the Jehovah's Witnesses. Arsenio almost fell asleep while he did the interview.
