A funny video! But would be even better i think if you guessed yours and the ai's guess at the same time so we dont know where it is before both of you have guessed :)
Great video! Really interesting to see what kind of information the AI uses :) As for the ship: HMS means His Majesty‘s Ship, HMAS would be His Majesty’s Australian Ship, HMCS would be His Majesty’s Canadian Ship :) Maybe that information will be helpful in a game one day :)
My results in the first two rounds were lackluster at best, but I managed to beat ChatGPT in the last one. I got 5K on the first round there because I assumed that it was the German-Polish border. Most of the border is on the rivers of Oder and Neisse, so it was just a matter of finding a portion of the border that followed a small creek and line up the roads. Even though I went Arctic Canada on the Grytviken round, I came out ahead of the AI.
this format was very entertaining! :) i would enjoy more videos competing with AI. I wonder if it can be additionally taught metas, it would be really helpful then to practice with and read its reasoning
Like you mentioned, this can be a valuable practice tool for learning how to make decisions about different areas. I’m getting a lot more into the game lately and using your videos to improve. Thank you!
Alpha test successful, good enough for production. Next step: setting up a fully automated 2nd channel with ChatGPT playing and uploading Geoguessr episodes on its own :)
Here's my memory rule for the area code in the Brazil round. 98/99 is Maranhao, and it marks the end of the 9x region. Everything to the east of Maranhao is 8x.
Wow this was entertaining. :)
Did not expect ai this good.
I really love your geoguessr content.
Thanks a lot! I appreciate it!
Agree. Would love to see more videos like this.

Thanks for the idea! I might make a rematch in the future. :)
Peter, I loved the stream where you had to get all the countries great content
I'm glad you enjoyed it! :)

Wow, I didn't know that! Thanks for the info!

Really well done!
Love this!! 💗

Thanks! I'm glad my videos are helpful! :)
I guessed the same as you for the "Alaska" round. The sun is so obviously in the north...
True, but in photospheres you can never know if the compass is aligned correctly or not, so I didn't pay attention to it

You could maybe let other AIs comment on the rounds, so even backseating will be automated.
I wonder if the ai could be using different reasoning for the actual guess vs "human explanation"
That was extremely entertaining!
Thanks! ^^
Can you try vs Gemini (AI from google) next time ?
Thanks for the suggestion! I might in the future!
On the Honduras/Indo round (2nd game) it would have been cool to see what Chat would guess if you did give the left hand drive hint.
I asked it about it right now and its changed answer was (14.0, 100.5) - Thailand. 😄
@@GeoPeter Must have noticed the houses :)
Do you think Geoguesser will integrate an ai interface to let you play directly against the ai?
I don't think it's planned at the moment :)
Very interesting
Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed it!
lazy... i assumed all professional geoguessr's learned Bengali,. shm (/sarcasm... great video)
nice!

That's actually a very helpful way to remember this! Thanks!
Good
gpt 4o is so much better than gpt 3
