Pro tip, walk into Carlsbad Caverns and elevator out. It's all downhill going in, but by the time you see everything, you will not want to walk all the way out again.

It’s so fun to see you guys appreciate our county when too many here take it for granted.
There are state parks too, parks overseen by the state it’s in.
I hope you get to come here and see some of them someday. 😊

The US has 63 National Parks and 429 Nation Park Sites (locations that are part of the national park system but not actual parks themselves ( monuments, gravesites, beaches etc)
There are also 6,792 State Parks in the US.

Nice reaction to the varied national parks. My favorite was not on the list, Capitol Reef. It's about 2 1/2 hours northeast of Bryce, a combination of both Bryce and Zion. My mom grew up next to it about 15 minutes away, and the family still owns the ranch in this red rock county. Literally been there 1000 times,, last time was in June. By the way I live 2 hours north of New York City.

I have visited most of these places. I now live in California's tall tree part of the USA's astonishing "ring of fire" volcanic scenery. Your country has some remarkable scenery of its own!

This is why Americans for the most part rarely vacation outside of the US and many people never leave the country their whole lives. There is so much to see here that we don't have to leave in order to see something new.
I am a rare case, due to my work I have been all over the world and even lived on multiple continents for up to 6 months at a tim.

When I was a child we moved from Houston, Texas, a very wet coastal area, to California. Our car air conditioning broke down in Death Valley. Which still holds the record highest temperatures for anyplace in the world.

There are parts of Mesa Verde where the only way back up from some of the cliff dwellings is a steep, almost vertical ladder system. Don't look down if you are scared of heights!

I didn't see Yosemite on this list? That's the closest national park to me. Takes several hours to get there from my area if you don't use a car, but since there aren't many parking slots, public transit is better unless you're bringing a lot of gear....they have a hotel inside the park where Queen Elizabeth II stayed in 1983....it's a very beautiful place also. 🙂 Snows in winter. 🙂

Don't know why but this reaction video skipped at least 3 parks, and only showed part of Yellowstone. A little annoying I must say.

The southern half of California is a desert, and the northern half (where I live) is a forest! 🙂 Both beautiful 🙂I'm in one of the nine counties that surround a large body of water called The San Francisco Bay.🙂
I have been to Crater Lake as well when I was a kid, it's amazing. You can get a boat ride to the island in the middle too. I have family in that area, in the State of Oregon.🙂

There are 63 National Parks in the US. Also another 350 national sites that are not officially parks but have some other designation like “National Monument”. But also there are over 6,700 State Parks (owned by the 50 states instead of the national government). They’re not as spectacular but still nice nature preserves for camping and hiking and boating.

The deserts are formed due to high mountains on the west side, with western winds blowing sand onto the dunes. The largest sand dunes in the USA are in south central Colorado.

I live in the Blue Ridge Mountains in Virginia and I can see the Appalachian Trail from my house. We’re just outside of the Shenandoah national park. And we kayak or float The James River every year This area is absolutely gorgeou!
The Skyline Drive is the Blue Ridge Parkway that follows almost all of the eastern coast line. I actually use it as a shortcut around here

We have President Theodore Roosevelt to thank in large part. He understood that we would lose far more than we ever thought we would gain by developing and trying to greedily profit from this land, and he was right. These parks are among the greatest things that this country has to offer.

there is hardly any place in the United states that your not close to national and state parks and you get fined heavily if you throw trash on the ground anywhere in states and national parks. America is so bautiful and with all that they have shown cannot compare to whats its like to visit are state and national parks also I have been told over and over that we have the most friendly people here especially in our southern states and America out does herself with pleasing visitors from other countries. Sure there is good and bad through out the world but for the most part America has nice and genuinely kind people who often bend over backwards to make you feel at home.
