Yes i was waiting and that was worth it. It was a fun watch and I was giggling at some of your antics. I understand the dog thing, I do rescue so I have multiple dogs and most have some health or abandonment issues. One of them loves to get on the stool behind me and pull on me until I stop and let him give me kisses. I've got two that pretty much live under my feet..lol. Great job. Be blessed.
That's cute about your dog pulling. Mine comes over and puts his paw on me until I go to the soft and pet him. :) And I'm glad you enjoyed the episode. Rusting parking aside, it felt good to get back into the truck. :)
This is fascinating! Didn’t know these type of PC games existed let alone played! I’m going to check them out - my Dad, brother and me talked extensively about getting 2 rigs and starting our own company back in 1970/71. Unfortunately or fortunately, depending on your point of view, we never started it. BUT I suspect your going to cost me more money!!! I bought THE HUNTERS, THE HUNTED and SILENT VICTORY all based on your excellent outstanding reviews and play through. I play mostly solo/solitaire due to circumstances. This game is really interesting! EXCELLENT BLOG EXCELLENT REVIEWS EXCELLENT PLAY THROUGHS! Keep it up!
Thanks very much for the kind words and motivation, John! I'm glad you're enjoying the content. The trucking game is something I never thought I'd enjoy, but it's oddly calming and relaxing. It's been a fun journey making the episodes the games. And sorry for the hits to your wallet, but you've made some excellent additions. That submarine series is incredibly fun. :)
Probably way too much information. As soon as I got done with it, I was like, I might want to edit this part down, but I couldn't figure out how to get myself out of the mess. Sorry! :)
Thanks to you, I’m using the seasons mods from Grimes mods. I change seasons every three in-game weeks; would be nice to have automatic season changes.
Oh, that's great to hear, Hal! I might start doing something like that as well. I've yet to try the autumn one, which would be a good idea now, to be honest.
Classic act leaving your trailer behind to get the recruitment agency, I hope you added it to your Log book? Punny fella. Montana is done and dusted for me, already and agree its the level of details that keep on being upped that for me make this a fav DLC. The Western Star is a nice truck, especially the Sleeper with all its goodies, so hopefully you'll be able to upgrade soon. Happy Trucking mate!
Really don't know what happened with the trailer there. It just sort of "came off". I had to pull into the recruitment agency to see what went wrong. They don't make trailer attachments like they used to, that's for sure! :)
Hi Zilla, about the truck stopping like a car, I'm wondering whether the guy that mentioned it meant, you're stopping like a car in top gear. In real life, truck drivers change down gears before coming to a rest. If you're driving an automatic, you can simulate gear changing down by first setting the transmission in cruise control. Then when you are approaching a red light or stop sign you can tap the cruise control down in increments of 10 mph, and the truck will automatically change down. Remember your minimum setting on cruise control is 30mph, so don't go below this setting otherwise the truck goes into neutral.
I'm so sorry about that mask comment 🙈 And poor puppy! Hope he's doing alright now. Mine has been pretty resistent to storms lately, last year he was freaking out all the time, this year he doesn't care at all. That was such a good parking job! I admire you for not giving up on those, I would go insane
That's interesting about your dog. I wonder what changed? Our dog has had a rough summer. Early July had lots of fireworks and thunderstorms, he still doesn't want to leave the house at night anymore. But he seems to be generally recovering now. :) No worries on the mask! It really doesn't bother me. ... Until I wonder, is that a mask?
Oh, I meant to say the minimum in ATS for cruise control is 20 mph. In ETS2 the minimum is 30 km/h. Also in the Options Menu under Gameplay scroll down to the Cruise Control Grid Step and set this to 5km/h or mph, and at Smart Cruise Control set this to Tolerance 0 km/h (0 mph). This setting will force the truck to maintain the speed you set it at.
"Lumber down the road here" Hmm Totally was not trying to make a pun. "You wood not have the audacity to make one" However I like how much you logged into this journey of ATS its fun to watch Zilla!
Montana people are world-renowned for their kindness and patience. You can see this by how politely they waited instead of changing lanes and going around the trailer, too. :)
Oh, nice! I think mine comes tomorrow. We must be some of the last ones to get them, but I was thinking that would be good reason to break out the game. :)
Yes, that's a plan for late July/early August. I'll be bringing it up on the new simulation channel. In case you haven't seen it, new trucking content is all going up there: www.youtube.com/@ZillaBlitz2ndGear
Fun Fact about the New truck.: The previous Western Star 49X, SCS released it same day as the truck manufacturer relased it IRL to the public. Believe 57X was like released a day afterwards.
I enjoy American Truck Simulator and Euro Truck Simulator. But what I do not understand about the "discoveries" are Recruiting Agencies. At the main screen, there is an option to hire new Drivers, Recruitment Agency, so why have the Recruiting Agencies to be discovered? That just feels redundant and superfluous. :) Thank you for another great video, logging is my favorite delivery.
For the recruiting agencies, you have a greater selection of drivers the more agencies you unlock. It's not that big of a deal to be honest. :) And glad you enjoyed the video, thanks. :)
@@ZillaBlitz You're welcome, and you're right, it's not a big deal. The things SCS does well are far and away much more enjoyable. I love driving around and enjoying the scenery. Which is why I enjoy the logging part, forests are where all the beautiful scenery is. Well, a lot of the beautiful scenery. Nature is replete with grandeur everywhere.
I think that's one of the things that makes the game special, in that there are a lot of different ways to play, and people take enjoyment out of the game in so many different ways. I can definitely relate to the sense of exploration. So much fun to drive around and see what's there. :)
@@ZillaBlitz I agree completely. And your videos and your sense of honest and genuine pleasure in sharing your in-game experience shines through beautifully.
I didn't know they existed. :) I actually turned them on shortly after this episode, after finally realizing what people were telling me to do. I think they are working correctly now. Thanks!
Hi zilla how are you great vide usually I don't do log delivery because that don't pay well I think they pay well when your skills are at max but I'm not sure I know if you like the max skill but I'm not sure what skill is it that pays well
Yeah, the logs don't pay well, for sure, and that's why I think I've generally avoided them. But it was the only delivery to Kalispell, so we went with it. Needed the city for the achievement. :)
Interesting, I think they are still upgrading these areas, so maybe it'll get better. And I really need to drive around California more in the game. I've hardly driven there at all. :)

Great to see you back on the trucks Zilla! Hope you are well. Looking forward to Iberia next ;)!
It is about time to get back to Europe, yes! :)
Well worth the wait even with the 12 minute parking, chomping at the bit for episode 100 on Euro version. Great entertainment as always. Thank you.
Thanks, coyi! Time to go for a drive tonight! :)
I'm going to start calling you "The Kalispell Chaos"
Haha! I actually kind of like that. T-Shirt time?!
