The Pedersen device was something planned for the spring offensive of 1919, which never came to be. Following the end of the war, all the ones in storage were dismantled and melted down for base materials and thus, the only surviving examples are ones that were pocketed by the workers tasked with destroying them.
Another fine example of Dice adding weapons that NEVER saw combat into their games.

And it is one I'm glad they did, specifically because of how cool and unique it is in my opinion. I don't think there's ever been system that converts from bolt-action to semi-auto like this.

@@darassylmoniakam not really the m1903 was used as a sniper for the US military and the standard infantry rifle was the M1 garand the repeater conversion would be hard to do in a battle when the enemy is firing at you.

You can skip the animation, so what you do is trigger the switch over, the change to your pistol then go back to the rifle
