Great photos of her! I have the 1/6 scale version which also came out great and even it was big for that scale so I am sure the 1/4 must be as tall as a 1/3 statue. I was one who didn’t like the large base but it really makes her tower in my collection.
Thanks- it's a really nice statue. I refrained from looking at the 1/6 scale version when it had started shipping so I could view this with an open mind. The base turned out better than I thought. Very happy camper!
Looks neat. I think it would look better if the fire effect had some clear resin and flickering LED's to give it a glow. Also the gold and skin is a little flat. I am a hobbyist not a statue collector btw. Granted I am sure they are not charging that much though for a 1/4 so I guess it is fine.
Yeah, fire is tough to depict in sculpted, 3-dimensional form. It does look better when it is translucent and can be lit from the bottom or behind. I'm not sure how I'm going to display this yet and if there is any way to light this at or around the base to brighten the flames.
@@thecantankerouscollector Fire is tough for sure. How they do it with miniatures (2 inch tall models) is crazy though with opaque fluorescent paint and it looks like real fire. I was just saying how I would have done it using the existing sculpt because I have done stuff with flame effect LED's, clear resin, and clear paint Extra lighting would be cool and make the piece really pop!
Belle statue de wonder woman 👍
She looks phenomenal. Really looking forward to mine! Good review!
Thanks!
Poppers buddy. Poppers!!!! 😆
