I like how Wonder Woman slams into the kids at the speed of a missile and then proceeds to fall and roll on the road and the kids are still completely unaffected
It’s ok, they were saved by being blatantly, hilariously obvious dolls 😂😂😂 Seriously, HOW THE FK did that ever make it through post production?! 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️
To be fair, every time a super hero saved a falling person by catching them mid air by themselves or with a web, that person would likely have died irrespective of what the superhero did. Think Superman saving Lois Lane anytime she is thrown off a building or Spider-Man saving Mary Jane or some random people. The only time they did it realistically is when Gwen died in TASM2.
In Batman vs Superman, the cinematography of her fight with doomsday did Wonder Woman's character the most justice.
Same with the first ww movie it’s all because Zack cuz that’s what he’s good at
No it did not… wonder woman’s best scenes (and batmans) are when she’s using her martial arts to take people down. The dooms day fight was just a power brawl.
@@parrisxsummers The way that it was filmed, was the best that I've seen WW on screen.
For those who don't know the context, Diana used a magical artifact that grants wishes. She wished to bring back Steve, which is why Steve was brought back in this movie. Unfortunately, the artifact will take away something very precious in exchange for your wish. It is slowly but surely taking away Diana's godhood -- her powers, explaining why she's significantly weakened.
Maxwell Lord (played by Pedro Pascal) wished himself to become the "wish-granting stone", so he can grant wishes to anyone. This is the reason Diana is after him.
I remember losing my EXE power when I was unwell so Woody.EXE came up with this idea of sneaking into hospital and give me my powers back. Woody.EXE got a few of his EXE friends to guard the room as i had my power back. Even Mummy woken up to help Woody.EXE with thud giving back power ritual because he couldn’t do it by himself. 5 months later and my EXE powers are back up and running but I turned out more dangerously powerful than I thought. @nicolelawless9942... I don't even know where to start.
Why not people just watch the film before giving proper criticism to the plot
So she should have wished for a better script that didnt suck...stupid premise to bring the guy back...the stench was the movie or him?
When Lucian was running super fast in "Underworld," it looked real. And that movie came out in 2003. How did special effects get so bad?
The fast motion of the alien soldiers in Man of Steel also looked good tbh.
looks like one of those cheap budget indian parody movies wich are azware of how bad it look but this whats their excuse here
@@flipk6486 True, but that's no reason that they can't make the film look realistic. Instead, it looks cheap, badly executed and puerile when it could have looked far more sophisticated and then had a much wider appeal to intelligent viewers. This movie is another example of why D. C. movies are one failure after another while Marvel is a continued success despite blunders such as "Captain Marvel."
I didn't see the movie but this scene automatically makes me think of Bollywood movies type of action. We just need the banana gun and the sliding horse and there you have it.
You should watch the rest of the movie if you want more Bollywood silliness. This scene was one of the most believable ones.
I mean she's a demi god strength of zeus and other gods. She definitely had that in herself to pull off these stunts. In Bollywood movies 100 times more intense stunts are performed by normal people, and there's where the sense comes crashing down.
so many continuity mistakes but 4:52 is the cherry on top, there's only one kid in one frame then suddenly the other one appears in the next one 😂

Whole scene was comedic tbh. You got gal gadot her skills are dope use it at right point!
I like how Diana gives up the chase to save the kids, when the kids clearly would've heard the trucks coming and would've gotten out of the way. Not to mention, the soldiers would've tried to avoid them, WHICH THEY DID ANYWAY when she failed to get the kids out of the way!!!
The amount of tank gun shots too. No way those weren't audible from their distance. The kids clearly dgaf 😂 just a normal day at the streets for them young'ins
I haven't actually seen the movie but going by this scene, it seems like a really fun comedy
This was written by the same people that wrote the first two Transformers films so…
It actually is a pretty fun comedy. If you think this scene is cheesy though you should see the rest of it. There are parts of the movie that makes this scene look like the Dark Knight.
Whoever designed this fight sequence needs a refresher course in film making. Just awful.
That musical build-up to the Wonder Woman theme is amazing. When I saw this in theater, I was jamming.
The first one was written and directed awesomely... This one the director decided to be the writer and your is what we got..💯🤷🤦
After seeing Wonder Woman and Batman V Superman I was SO excited about this sequel. What was Patty Jenkins thinking? The first one was amazing, one of my favorite superhero movies ever! What the hell happened?
Zack snyder doesn't involved writing in this movie. That's what happened
@@pumpkincat3739 Yeah but he and patty Jenkins balanced each other which made the movie better. It never got too dark but never got totally ridiculous like the sequel.

I am a marvel movies fan but she stole my heart 😍😍😍
Imagine if those vehicles had some type of function that could make sounds to warn people that it was coming.
Or if kids, y'know, paid attention to vehicles coming down the road they are playing in. Like kids do anywhere in the world.
Okay team how can we waste million dollars in few minutes.
WW84 - Say no more and hold my beer 😂
Her power is so underrated in this movie.
It's june 2022, let's see how many legends are listening to this masterpiece ♡♡
To think this is literally the second scene in costume after nearly an hour of boredom.
wow those mannequin children were so life-like. Did they even edit this part of the movie? How could that make the final cut?!?!
What really sets me off is that she didn’t need to “save” those kids.
1) They were far enough away for them to possibly see and move away from the trucks
2) Just because these are the bad guys doesn’t mean that they’re heartless and would run over children if they could avoid it
And in the end, she put them in more danger when she fell
I love how there's no consistency in terms of her strength and durability. In one movie she takes a headbutt from a very pissed off superman, and looks merely annoyed by it, and here gun fire is enough to draw blood. Also she's strong enough to push a massive truck sideways down the road running at 50 mph, but has trouble pushing a truck driving down the highway away from her.
Wonder Woman is meant to be vulnerable to bullets, it's why she has to block them with the gauntlets or avoid them.
@@pyroGAMER23 actually she CAN resist a bullet, hurt but doesn't make her bleed, we saw that in the bank scene from snyder cut, when the guy start shotting in the hostages she got hit in the back but the bullet was reflected making her gasp in pain, the real reason why she looks weak on this scene is because bring Steve back took some of her powers away
wait did you not watch the movie? she is weak in this scene because she is becoming human because of the guy being there, they had to send him back because of that
She's becoming human because of a wish she made to get her boyfriend back from the dead. That's why she's bleeding and losing her strength. It's supposed to be like that.
@@asazaki3026 No i didn't, it's comic book accurate that Wonder Woman couldn't just face tank bullets without blocking it.
I figured Patty Jenkins was following this line of thinking because in the first movie she always deflects bullets.
That failed miserably to create a suspension of disbelief.
4:45 Those kids should have definitely broken something!
@@hmf3500 Well, yeah, that was clear from the start. I'm talking about the movie not reality... I'm saying that they have Wonder Women save kids in such a stupid way that should have broken their bones and then expecting the viewers to just ignore the fact that two children were just swooped up to an elevated height, flung at high speeds, and then were thrown tumbling violently onto a road!?
I loved it 😊
Amazing I love wonderwonan

Looooooooove this movie. She's awesome
"Gee Diana. Good thing we were on the same page when I fired that rocket propelled grenade at those four kids."
"I only saved two"
"I said two"
So much to tear apart in this scene, but the two limp dolls (4:45) are hilarious! 😂🤣🤣
The only thing I loved about this trainwreck of a movie, is Hans Zimmer's score. Specially in this scene, it was really good.
My favorite part is the kids weren't even in danger. They swerved to avoid them lol.
1:00 am I the only one that was totally expecting her to use her lasso to whip/slap the bullet away? so it barely misses? that would've been so much cooler than the stupid catching it with her lasso
I love how her legs and hair are moving like she’s out for a jog, but she’s keeping up with the cars, looks super realistic.
This is why film makers use CGI and speed up the action to make it look like people are going far faster than they are.
I'm not a visual effects expert but c'mon, can't they just add a fan to hit her face and hair strong enough to simulate air resistance while running a such a high speed.... And also add some ''cutting'' wind sound too, jeezz... what a poor production. The whole running takes are so poorly done. And the ''lazo bullet grab'' was so cheesy.
Can't believe this cost millions of dollars to produce and this is the result.
@@ieorlich LOL. Y’know what else cost $200 mill and came out the opposite of this? No Way Home. They had the same budget.
They didn't speed up the footage. The technique they used is dragging a conveyor belt for her to run on. The same way they did in the chase scene from Captain America: Civil War. (After the stairway scene, before Steve, Bucky, and Black Panther get arrested by War Machine.) Stunts have come a long way from Buster Keaton's day.
@@Psiberzerker I was actually being sarcastic. It was commenting on the fact that she was keeping up with cars but he body movements and hair aren’t moving like someone who would running that fast.
those kids she hug when rolling over....i cannot XD
So looks so clean and neat in this scene
So when you have your hero catch a bullet with a whip after watching it pass by, you have just set the standard. So when she is struck by bullets later it tells me that she is either not paying attention to these individual bullets like she was earlier, or that they just didn't care to think about the implications of having such a scene.
Also that last bit was a bit funny, she catches the kids at this incredible speed meanwhile it looks like she picked them up gracefully with one hand somehow. On top of that instead of screaming and wondering what's going on the kid is just holding on to her with her eyes closed
Lol it's like they don't even try anymore
@@sasook so what about the kids part?? Cause everyone is talking about her losing her powers and that's no reason for her powers to spike in some areas than some.
Tbh she did much more insane shit in comics so that's not the problem.
People are so stupid on the comment section. Like y'all gotta do your research, the reason why WW 1984 was made the way it was, is cuz they are paying homage to Lynda Carter's WW series from the 70s and to Christopher Reeves Superman as well, and some old comic references too. That's why it looks cheesy and such. The movie is based on the 80's so it gonna have a hip hop kinda vibe to it, kinda hype. Compared to the first WW movie is a totally different era different time and mood, it was dark, moody, and sad time, obviously due to the war.

How do you manage to post movie clips without getting copyright strikes? Amazing 👍
1:10 feels like I'm watching a giraffe in a stampede. Cool scene if only it wasn't so much CGI
This is a parody, right?
In one scene she is super heavy, being able to push a truck sideways. Then in another scene she has almost no weight, as the RPG is able to make her fly.
Well, on one side, she was losing her life force due to making a wish on a wishing stone.
She doesn't need to be heavy to push the truck, as long as she has leverage against something else.
@@metalore So why couldn't she push the trucks apart when they were trying to crush her between them? Seemed like even better leverage than she had doing a full sprint down a highway while she pushed the truck sideways.
@@bobdole4916 The only explanation is she got tired and lost her strength during the battle. She did get shot.
I love you Gal Gadot your so awesome.
Beautiful woman!
3:36 I think the director forgot that she pushed an entire truck that was FACING *SIDEWAYS* down the road with her bare hands just minutes ago
From a physics standpoint the strength needed to push that truck sideways down the highway at like 50mph is immense, so yes, it's ridiculously that the much simpler task of knocking over a truck with a very high center of gravity is near impossible for her. This director is just not good at filming action.
She's so beautiful 😍 and awesome
Quisiera verla toda completa, se ve buenísima 🤔
Wait a minute... the spent the whole scene unloading heavy artillary at her, but avoided running her over at the end?
because they were not one dimensional. this scene delivers. frame by frame.
@@dblack8141 That should be a slogan for WB: "Delivering trash. Frame by frame".
How are the actors and actresses never just like “this doesn’t seem right”
Considering that most of this was shot on green screens and edit together, I highly doubt anyone has any idea, other than the director of how it's going to play out.
The actors/actresses usually have no idea how it's going to look after post production. The only thing they can use to judge the movie is the script they receive. I know they are sometimes entitled to see pre-visuals just before the release, but they pretty much see the full finished product at the same time as us. It's the directors and writers who are responsible for how the finished product looks.
I've found over the years a paycheque usually resolves the "this doesn't seem right" question nearly every time.
Wonderful, I loved the movie, and I want to watch it with Arabic subtitles, but I couldn't find it
if the fighting scenes were good (well not this bad) this movie had the potential to be AT LEAST 8/10. i had no problem with steve coming back, i liked the villains, pedro played it really well, gal's screen pressence is immaculate she's so charming! i wish fighting choreography/effects and logic were well thought out
agreed. the weakest part is the fighting sequence. every single one of it was super weak in this movie.
Sadly this was one of the best scenes in the film....and that in itself tells you everything about the absolute travesty that Patty Jenkins gave us as a follow up to the insanely brilliant first Wonder Woman film. Let's hope Disney paid attention to this and has Jenkins on a VERY tight leash while she makes Rogue Squadron.
Not likely to happen, after all they approved this hot mess AND it's Disneys plan to destroy everything they touch, because they haven't got a creative person on their lot, just a bunch half wit talentless hacks and lots of yes men executives.

It's becoz this is like way before superman vs Batman.. .. u can tell by her outfit . It still shines and not rusty
@@neochan7626 I completely understand that point and knew about that as I was leaving the comment. In the first movie, she's blocking a legion of bullets being shot at her by an entire army of Nazi's. Tosses a tank and has no problem-fighting in a World War. So even at half power, she's more than enough to take out some normal humans driving down the road at high speed. It just irked me that they totally forgot about all that combat experience she gained from training plus the huge power boost she got at the end of the first movie where she jumps into the sky across an entire city...
No worries though, I still liked the movie I just didn't like this _depowering_ thing they did to her. They just should've given her proper henchmen that are a little juiced on Hercules tonics or something like that to tip the scales instead of just rando's giving her so much trouble.
Nazi's were not present during First World War.......Wonder Woman and Captain America are from 2 different Universe
@@sunnymitra6372 You're right I honestly just got confused there for a second, my point still stands though. But yeah, I'm used to having a comic book memory and most of WW's World War stories usually take place during the WWII but the cinimatic universe differs, so thanks for the reminder.
Haven't you watched the whole movie? The wish she wanted from the magical stone which was reviving Steve Trevor came at the cost of her powers including her god-tier superhuman strength, similar to how Thor got depowered in his first movie after being banished to Earth and stripped of his powers by Odin. Like the latter, Wonder Woman still retained her entire physical composition like far denser and heavier mass than a regular human which still keeps her very physically strong to at least Captain America's level, explaining how Thor easily overpowered regular humans at the hospital and Wonder Woman to easily push aside trucks with a great deal of effort while being stripped of their powers. On that note, Wonder Woman still had practically superhuman strength from her raw physical composition left over but not god-like proportions that she posseses under normal conditions.
She was ridiculously underpowered in this scene. The lack of speed, the bleeding, and the lack of strength. What the hell did I just watch?
Haven't seen the movie but according to some commenters here she was losing her powers for some reason.
She was weak at this point because of the wishing stone thingy created by a "very bad god" she says and it takes your greatest possession (which is wonder womans whole power) , she is almost human because of the stone (she's not human cus she's a demi goddess and made out of clay)
I remember feeling a lot stronger after Queen Elizabeth died and my mother knew I was going to be controlled by Woody.EXE because she met him once. I’m literally to powerful because of him and now he’s guarding me so I can control my powers

Exactly how I saved my dogs last year from running into the road without me with crowds nervously watching and luckily the cars stopped as I put my life in danger to save them and I managed to get them back in the house with the dogs and myself unharmed. Mummy then called me Wonder Woman
I love wonder woman
I know it's a different scene but What I don't like is that wonder woman asking everyone to give back their wishes, what if a poor starving family wanting food or money or someone that's in the hospital with cancer getting better from their illness or somebody looking to marry someone or well you get the idea, their not going to take their wish back no sane person would.
I've known the rich pretend to be poor and Rob others and the actors they set up are all put in such position to fool some rich... The fact is one man like the one in the truck is looking to awaken the evil in the world...
Tell me! Soldiers don't have riches, why do they sacrifice their lives??? It's for their families and those they protect... That's the motive... What these people have taken is not money, but someone's life... Those people are called criminals, even if they are poor the law is one... Justice!!!
Agreed - it would've made more sense to have all the wishes taken back as a consequence of killing Maxwell Lord. Or to have kept the stone as a separate thing and then have her smash it or something.
I mean... At least there's a Hans Zimmer doing a great job for the soundtrack tho
