@@BlackoutBilll21 Any idea why my motor will not rev up when the lid is on. It’s starving for air. Take it off and it’s all good. ???
@@TwistedGorillaFab Many times when that happens its the lower crank seal. When its running top off, spray carb cleaner at the bottom of the power head not near the carb. see if the motor bogs or revs up when you do that. other than that your mixture screw/idle stop might be off.

I followed the video to a T and after everything was screwed down snug, the starter won’t spin back. The only way it will spin is if I loosen up on the bolts. I’m not sure what to do
ok Ive heard this before.. first make sure your spring isnt broken!! 2nd... MAKE SURE your spring is in the notch!! if its caught in between the metal it wont spring like you're saying! Wish I could help you in person! keep trying! or maybe pick a new on on ebay??
I can connect the spring to the bottom part but my spring is not catching inside the plastic part. Any suggestions for this problem.
does your spring have a long extended hook part like mine?
@@BlackoutBilll21 yes it does. It hooks at the bottom no problem. But when i try to wind it up I can feel the spring slip inside.
@@TheMeekSheep ok I had this problem.. make sure you hook the bottom UNDER the plate that bolts up underneath!! The plate is what pinches the spring tight so it doesnt spin. then when you tighten the bolts the spring shouldn't spin!
@@BlackoutBilll21 it’s slipping inside the plastic. Not at the bottom. The bottom hook is secure.
@@TheMeekSheep if the bottom is truely held in place... you spring might be broken... did you wind it up like i showed in the video?
