Where were you guys? As seeing three Fisher 25 /30 & I’ve just bought one & I’m doing it up, on top I’m disabled wheels on land & the boat on the water. I have CRPS in my right leg, so the left leg is alright. Keep up the great videos very helpful & enjoyable. 🎉
Thank you very much for your kind words, we are at Preston Marina on the River Ribble. We have a great hidden Jem here in the heart of the city. Great to here you have a fisher there a great boat, and even though your on wheels your still doing it which is very inspiring 🙏⛵️⛵️
@@BoatzUK Great part of the world. There seems a good group of Fisher owners is out there, giving advice etc. Thank you too, I’m looking forward to getting her on the water, it’s that lure that keeps pushing us on. And your helpful video & advice helps me to get there. I hope you all have a great week. Sailing with my Sailablity group tomorrow which helps to keep the drive going too.
@@BoatzUK wow. At least you got out. I'm at my parents, doing loads as they want to sell the place, just for 4 booked viewings not to bother turning up and only one bothering to say!
Do you know what the airdraft is for your Aquastar 38 (to top of windscreen)? I believe about 3.3m - considering whether to purchase one for inland waterways of France.
I can measure it for you but I know that my boat has been on the French canals to the Med as the radar arch drops and the windscreen on my Aquastar also drops flat by removing a pin each side of the screen, but I think your right with 3.3m and the bit extra you will get by folding the screen if needed, great boat with excellent sea keeping and also good for low speeds on the inland waterways
@@BoatzUK many thanks for the reply. If you get a chance be very interested - there's routes down which 3.5 would be max, others 3.1m (canal de Borgougne tunnel etc). Another question - does the furniture lift to give top access to the port engine?
@@iancv1 on my boat I get full access to the port engine and starboard as all the furniture can be moved and each floor section comes out separately, still a pain for easy access but great if you know that servicing needs to be done, I will be at the boat tomorrow so will get the tape out when I am there and send you my findings, have you found a Aquastar 38 that your interested in yet? As if your not to far away your more than welcome to have a good look around mine to see if there the boat for you
Thank you, yes not the cheapest form of boating but I do love to get her out as it feels worth it after every trip, boating season is now here so looking forward to plenty more trips this year but the £1 yacht is currently my priority ⛵️⛵️⛵️🛥️🛥️🙏
I’ve got a wee Antares on Loch Lomond that I’ve not been able to get to due to recovery from surgery, can’t wait till I get back to her after your video, well jealous 👍👍😊🛥️🏴
Taste of things to come with the 1 pound yacht great video excellent day out on the water guy’s 👍👍
Thank you it was a great day to be back on the water 🛥️⛵️🙏
Greetings from the USA, really impressive boat. I'm a big fan of the raised aft helm station. We don't have that much here . Good stuff all around.

Looked like a great day for shake down run.
It was great, best weather we have had in weeks 🙏🛥️
Definitely more fun than sanding mate
Always beats sanding 🤣🙏🛥️
@@BoatzUK you can tow the 1 pound yacht behind your boat for extra cabin space
@@greglomas7620 🤣 that’s the one 🤣⛵️

Looks like you had better weather than we did.
Is a group of colvics called a "gaggle" or something else?
Not sure tommo but we have plenty of them here
@@BoatzUK I haven't seen that many in one place before
Weather was great for one day 🤣 it’s now pouring down
@fat_tommo_goes_boating one family have lots of them, they all have one each and some more that one

Wondered what your plan is with that sunk yacht? Keeping it or something interesting to film & sell etc ..
My plan is to give it away to a worthy cause when complete or sell and donate all proceeds to the RNLI. that was my intentions when she is ready ⛵️⛵️
Vielen Dank für den informativen und interessanten Bericht! Bezüglich des Schwell wie ist die Erfahrung mit der App Navily im Mittelmeer?
