My chinmount has a slight gap (no contact w/ helmet) at the right bottom, worried it might come off :/

Is it really hard to remove? I am scared to just only stick it there also on top of the helmet
It can be removed by applying heat with a blow dryer and slowly twisting it off your helmet.
Or it could be removed by falling off over time 👍🏻

The mount that came with your GoPro won't fit on the chin of your AGV K1.

Heat does not "kill" the type of 3M VHB Tape we use.
Heating the 3M increases the strength and speeds up the time it takes for the 3M tape to form a proper bond with the surface of your helmet.
By using heat the bond timeframe is only 24 hours, without heat, it takes 72 hours to form a full bond.

Is the dryer necessary
If you do not have a hair dryer, please let the mount sit for 72 hours on your helmet before riding or attaching your action camera. Using a hair dryer to heat the adhesive decreases the time it takes for the 3M tape to form a bond with the surface of your helmet to only 24 hours.

So where do you install the safety tether?
We recommend testing where you want to mount it on your helmet. The side of your helmet is usually the best spot, just make sure there’s enough distance for the string to reach your GoPro.
Next, peel off the adhesive cover and apply some heat with a blow dryer or heat gun so the adhesive becomes sticky. Then stick it to the desired position on your helmet.
Once it’s secure, loop the tether string through the anchor point and tie it to your GoPro housing or thumb screw.

Can easily be removed without damaging your helmet. Simply heat the edges of the 3M adhesive with a hair dryer and slowly twist it off your helmet
