Can anyone help me out a bit I have a go pro 12 and I have nd filters but once I get close to sunset even using nd 8 (lowest one I have) the footage is too dark but I like the motion blur effect if I take nd filter off and film in 4k30fps should I still use 1/60 shutter speed or should I lower it to 1/30 to let more light in or use auto? I know a lot of people say not to put the iso up to high above 800 because it creates grainy image and noise any advice would be huge thank you so much
@@scottforti3194 Make changes in iso that would help with the darkness. Bro i don't own any camera i would love to . I said that because if that didn't work then sorry
It's been like 8 years since I've made a youtube comment but I'm a former manufacturing/materials engineer of 12 years. That mount with screws in your offroad setup will punch straight through that helmet and snap your jaw or even unalive you with enough force. The road setup is great because it's offset and hanging from the helmet so it'll break off but the offroad one being set deep into the slot with screws is just asked to get your jaw broke and screws for teeth. I'd recommend using a TPU mount which is a flexible 3D printed plastic that will absorb road vibrations, it'll make your shots even clearer, they use it a lot in the FPV drone world. I'd also not use screws and just glue a 1/2" to 1" riser pad off the helmet to bring it out of that slot in the helmet. That way the mount breaks off.
Yeah! I hear what you’re saying and thank you for the feedback. I know this just been taking the risk, I’ll definitely look at considering a new off roading setup, maybe just glue like you said 🤝
Ohh man I wish you did a dji action 4 night settings tutorial, I can’t seem to find any tutorials anywhere that’s good. You explain things hell good and clear makes it easy to understand
Thank you for so much valuable information. I am from Spain (Barcelona) and here there is a great love and passion for motorcycles. I want to level up my blogs and finding your video has been a great help to me! Keep up the good work! If one day you visit my country and want to go to any of the 3 races held in MotoGP, let me know! I can be a great host!
The ace pro 2 is out but when i went to the shop they only had the ace pro and i thought to myself if youc an get the footage this good its not the camera its the operator so im happy with the ace pro 1 for now. thank you for these videos

Amazing content bro.. I never thought will start moto blogging but you made me start it. Still not able to shoot the content what I actually want to shoot but yeah learned a lot from you will start doing it soon.
Great video, definitely looking to buy one of these cameras. No stabilisation makes it feel quite unwatchable for me, for a short term reel or short but long form it’s too harsh on the eyes. Great content and definitely subbed
You inspired me to make a moto vlog as a person who love to drive around the city with friends so now i don't really have a opportunity to make it again cause I'm away from my country and my friends because of my country situation so i have to fine a job and work hard first to make it happen.

What do you recommend for the following situation: Let's say you're needed to use a nd32 filter of the sun but have a lot of dark parts later on the video when 32 would be too much?
I finally found someone who showed and explained how to record such great-looking videos 🤑😎, I hope to finally break through and start creating content about motorcycles 🤜🤛, because I have already seen a set like yours for voice recording and I know that it does a great job, do you think that the media mod set from Gopro plus a microphone from Rode will also allow me to achieve such quality ??
Love it man. Your the reason I bought the acepro in the first place, and the luts on top the footage👌🏽👌🏽 haven’t shot in pure video yet but will deffo be using the settings you showed in the video🔥
Any recommended adjustments for overcast cloudy days? Do you find that your settings for that sunny day make footage extremely dark if you go in a tunnel or indoor parking or something?
Great video as always, I always learn something new! Could you please do a video on how you export and upload your IG content? I shoot in S-Log, I do everything correctly (I assume), everything looks gucci in DaVinci, and when I export and upload to IG it looks grainy and meh… I hope you can show us your secrets in a future video!🫡
Hey bro! Back again, I’ve almost nailed the cinematic look, but I’m struggling trying to get the audio right. I have a Purple Panda, but it barely picks up my voice. Do you position the mic a specific way? Should I buy the one that you used to use? Any settings to change for audio?
Hey man, good stuff!! I haven’t actually used the purple panda mic before, but I recommend trying out the Rode Lav Go, and on the Ace Pro there are some external mic output settings you can mess around with. I show this at 4:32. Try different options, since your audio is too quite you could even test out turning up the external mic output gain. I hope this helps! 🤝
Love your videos but i think you should've mentioned that the Da Vinci resole requires the paid version bc i was following the steps just for it to require me to pay 500 AUD which isn't happening.

Wow, awesome video and great tips! Hopefully, I can take this excellent advice and begin to make progress in learning how to edit and shoot videos. Wanted to ask how much the Davinci resolve program is or is it free?
No worries at all man and good luck! Davinci resolve has a free version which is super powerful. You can pay for the ‘studio version’ but honestly you wouldn’t need it for a while 🤝
@@JayJankulovski Thank You! also had a question I'm currently looking at the 18.6 I guess that's the only one available but one says beta the other just says 18.6 studio should I just go with the studio?

Can you recommend ISO and shutter speed values for moto vlogs to use on bright days and in the evenings ? I tried the tip keeping shutter speed’s value as double of the frame rate set (1/60 shutter speed for 30 frame rate) but the video captured was all bright and was not good, Some people use ND filters to fix this but X4 does not have any as of now.
Your a legend for this video❤ i get the Insta360 Acepro 2 in a few days are their any ND filters for the Acepro 2 or can i just take the ND filters from the Ace pro?
Awesome man no problem! So the ND filters from the Ace Pro 1 do fit on the 2 but it’s not perfect, the lens design is slightly different so there are new filters for it :)
@@JayJankulovski Hey im looking to buy one now , and i find the chin mount support but not the part between the chin and the insta 360 fixation can you help me thanks
Can u suggest which one would be best dji , insta or gopro . Please don't say insta just because its sponsored. If you have used all three or have an opinion would appreciate it.
how do you judge that you have the correct ND filter for the level of sunny-ness or cloudiness??? do you adjust ND filters until the EV auto corrects to 0??
I’ve been filming vids like this for a very long time so I’m really quickly able to choose which one but generally for me, when shooting 30fps 1/60 I use ND16. When shooting 60fps 1/120 I use ND8. I’d start with that then poke your camera outside to see if it looks good and change from there.
