Schmincke Horadam Watercolor Exclusive Wooden Box Set
Limited Edition Curated Wood Box Set, While Supplies Last - A Jerry's Exclusive Set
Schmincke has been producing its Horadam line of watercolors in Germany since 1881. Each color has its own independently optimized recipe made of the finest pigments, ONETZ (ox gall), and traditional gum arabic binders. Colors that have fully dried on the palette or in pans can be reactivated with a wet brush and reused.
The wooden box includes 12 half pans of Lemon Yellow, Indian Yellow, Cadmium Red Light, Ruby Red Deep, Perylene Violet, Ultramarine Finest, Prussian Blue, Yellow Ochre, Burnt Umber, Neutral Tint, Perylene Green, and Payne‘s Grey Bluish as well as a 5ml tube of Opaque Titanium White and 3 large empty pans.

I am just always impressed with the Schmincke lines of mediums! I have only purchased 3 tubes of Schmincke Watercolors as they are very expensive and I just know I would not be at ease using them! But I had to try them out! I did purchase soft pastels from them and they truly are wonderful! Buttery smooth they are the perfect choice for finishing a soft pastel painting! They do go on sale but I know myself and they would be so precious to use up! The watercolors, well the pastel sticks are expensive too yet I can use them for finishing a painting as they just go so far and just last and last! Thanks Mike and everyone at Jerry's!

I need information on how the paints tint out, how they behave in various applications like; wet on wet, wet on dry, dry brushing, etc...

Nice - but no lid mixing tray...the tin box would be a more practicle choice. If the inside of the lid could be recessed slightly and a white plastic insert applied, this box would be improved a lot.
