- South African marriage laws are headed towards drastic changes.
Home Affairs, on behalf of the government, is consulting with various
stakeholders on the proposed Marriage Bill.
If passed, the bill will introduce a wide range of changes in the
country's marriage legislation.
The proposed bill has been criticised by some for being silent on
other forms of long-term unions such as life partners.

This is a disgrace, allowing homosexuality on our traditions!
😂I blame colonization for that, because they designed their system for one belief system, what the government is trying to do is moving with the time allowing everyone to get married through their beliefs, 😂the bill will change one to include binary people.
It's not to include YOUR tradition only, but all of ours... including LGBT. We are ALL protected by our constitution!
@siyabongajacobdlamini1764 If you don't like colonialism then give back all the things you enjoy as a result of colonialism today, such as Western clothes, Western food (mcdonalds, pick n pay, burgers), cars that were invested in Europe, electricity that was invented in Europe, internet, watches.... the list goes on. You like enjoying all the benefits of colonialism, but still blame white people?! Better then give back all your Western things amd luxuries, and go back to herding cows and living in a cow dung hut like you were 200 years ago. You can't blame colonialism whole enjoying all the perks.

Mostly likely Islam, Hindus, kings and chief and the community thats why he mentioned that the bill was gazatted and lot of stakeholders affirm it

@@tatendawilson3057 all those religious beliefs have failed drastically to uphold the values of their religion including Christianity.
That's what is being corrected the thought of marriage as a religious practice, it's not,it has never been.
