In what possible way could duct tape be useful in the zombie apocalypse? More like in what ways are they not!? First of all, duct tape works great for setting up zombie traps and it can definitely be used to set up trip wires. Also, let’s say that one of your friends has become bitten by a zombie and you know it will be only hours before they start to go crazy and try to start eating you. You might find this a little easier than shooting your best friend in the head with a shotgun. Duct tape can also be used for securing weak parts in home, used for armor, clothing, repair your equipment or even tape shut a zombie's mouth! It’s there so many ways to use it, and you don’t always know when you’re going to need it or why, it’s just best have some with you.
5. Crowbar
The crowbar is another essential tool that will prove to be quite useful in the apocalyptic world. During your journey throughout the apocalyptic wasteland you may come across some crates or doors that need to be opened in order for you to loot supplies. Crowbars allow you to deconstruct objects carefully so you can even loot the nails, if you need them enough. This simple metal tool is extremely cheap and can be made from valuable metal. Looting is going to be one of your best ways to gather supplies and if you’re not a professional locksmith, a good ole crowbar. Many rave about the crowbars effectiveness as a zombie weapon as well. Some might even modify it with duct tape for extra grip. The hook of the crowbar adds extra damage to the skull which should be pretty lethal to a zombie and could be one of the best weapons to finished off a wounded zombie. One or two swings should be all it needs.
4. Video Camera
Most electronics won’t prove to be too useful or you might run out of battery at some point but a video camera can prove to be useful especially if you’re working as a team. If you’re able to videotape a zombie, scientists will be able to study it and you’ll be able to understand better what the symptoms are with the virus. You can learn better ways to exterminate them, and how to protect yourself. Other cameras may prove to be useful with the addition of infrared and or night vision to help you navigate your way through the dark. Some useful items like a power pot which runs on boiling water can generate enough energy to power charge your electronics.
3. Armor
It’s not just zombies you’re going to have to worry about during the zombie apocalypse, it’s people you’re going to have to watch out for too, and people know how to use gun. If you’re able to come across some kind of bullet proof vest during your journey through the apocalyptic world, you will certainly want to take it. Although you can possibly survive the apocalyse with no armor, having armor will be crucial if you ever consider taking over another human outpost who has a large stockpile of weapons, food, ammunition, water, etc.
2. Swiss Army Knife
Any kind of knife is certainly going to be useful but it doesn’t always need to be used as a weapons. Knifes used as weapons during the zombie apocalypse, put you just a little bit too close to the infected. There are intense Swiss Army Knife like gadget is equipped with wire cutters to help you clip through chain link fences. They can also features useful tools like saws and hammers to aide you in constructing a stronghold. Don’t forget about the steel serrated and straight blades that will cut through zombie flesh with ease, if you have to use it that. Firearms take a lot cleaning and ammunition which may make it difficult maintain. Swiss army knives such as the The Leather MUT EOD multi tool is designed to work with harmony weapons such as the AR-15 which will help you clean, maintain many different firearms especially those used by the military. But you come across one during your escape from the undead, this also features cleaning rods and a disassembly punch to aid you in the maintenance of a fire. Here you have useful tools and weapons to keep you from becoming zombie food. This gadget will cost you about 169 dollars but it could be well worth it.
Firearm
We all know the setbacks with firearms during the zombie apocalypse. The noise can attract too many zombies and give away your location but, you’re basically a sitting duck without one during the zombie apocalypse. Relying solely on melee weapons will prove to be a bad choice especially if you find yourself in the middle of a zombie swarm. One of them will get you eventually. But if you're skilled enough to aim for the head and hit your target, this could at least give you enough time to run away. Silencers are also an option if you know how to make one or if you’re able to purchase it. Firearms will also make hunting easy if you find yourself in the woods for a long period of time. Get yourself something powerful but lightweight. Something like a glock 9mm or a Desert eagle are a great choice! - Розваги

Here's the thing. If you are using guns and going around killing zombies, you are in the WORST case scenario. This is not an action video game this is life. I don't know about all of you but I would hate to actually come into contact with a zombie. They are incredibly dangerous and likely have no reward for killing them at all. I would head to a local public school or bridge, something strongly built and easily defended. Not stores though as you would be running into a very large amount of very aggressive and largely unfriendly individuals. I would also fortify the current location, accepting any and all people whom want to join in as there is strength in numbers. Then I would designate crews to fortifying and scavenging, along with planning farms and rain collection systems. Then I would head to a library, shocking I know. But there is a huge amount of information readily available as to how to do several things as well as entertaining literature and history books. We, as a human race, MUST keep our history in place. Going into another dark age would be terrible. As years go by and we start getting a population increase and we start needing more and more food and water, then we will start going out and expanding our borders until we can safely say that the area 250 miles around us is clear. Then we start rebuilding society and establishing trade with other survivors through the barter system. Thumbs up if you would like to join my clan of survivors.

Right? I thought this was the dumbest suggestion on the list. Only reason to have a camera would be a small/hidden one to find out who in your group is stealing from the food stash. Not worth carrying around unless you happen to pick one up along the way when there's some spare room in your supply pack

Wtf, a desert eagle is a horrible choice for any apocalypse. Ammunition isn’t easy to find as then9mm or the .22 and it’s just big and bulky. A .22 is the best firearm, or 9mm, or .45. You can carry way more ammunition than a .50.
Agreed. I was looking for someone who thought the same. A Desert Eagle is a hand cannon. You'd be better off with a good quality .22 rifle/handgun/both....and carry a few thousand rounds on you.
I agree a 22 isnt great for larger game....but you gotta consider the weight of the ammo and guns to carry. Besides....a well placed 22round, could take down a deer, which is more meat than you'll be able to eat, unless you know what your doing and can smoke it, or preserve it in other ways.

actually they are extremely light weight. the weight is mostly from the ammunition. in a lot of ways the less weight is actually, a problem. the biggest of course being that it makes it have a slight bit more recoil although that is mitigated by the radial delayed bolt action and the fact that it operates on a gas piston system. what I don't like most is ammo availability, size, ammo capacity, ammo weight and the cost of simply having one. (there are way more problems)

Make sure you board up you windows and doors
build a simple cheval-de-frise out of 4x4 lumber and rebar (look them up) for a good perimeter defense. Wield flanges of sharpened sheet/plate metal for cutting when something forces its way down the spikes (or is pushed up the spikes by other mindless zombies pushing the impaled ones forward). Just make sure the spikes are at head level for brain penetration.

I would recommend a military based poncho with buttons. they don't just keep you dry they can also work as a sleeping bag and a tent plus a water catcher
People forget that paracord can be pulled apart, and individual strands used for lashing etc. A single length or paracord has many of these strong strands inside the sheath. So a necklace of platted paracord is much longer than people think. It was the whole point of using paracord.

yeah if you want to get guns to hollywood silenced levels you'll need to use a slower caliber one that doesn't have a sonic boom so sub sonic pistol calibers, then you'll need to have like the whole barrel be one long suppresser and maybe make it bolt action to help keep the gasses and therefore the sound controlled and suppressed.

Desert eagle has tomutch recoil and to loud I recommend the marlin 22lr light weight and ammo is common and deadly with not a lot of recoil
I'd rather have a bow than a gun a simple Recurve bow would be my go-to weapon quite light to carry reusable arrows and easy to maintain guns can run out of ammo whereas arrows are easy to make even crossbows would be better than a gun but still a crossbow can be much more complex to fix if it breaks
Craig Tucker yeah but it’s gonna take multiple arrows to kill the zombie. No way a bow is powerful enough to go through the skull in one shot, maybe in a few. If you want a quick kill, guns, but is it going to attract more zombies. If you are at an advantage point and have time, go with the bow and play the long game then retrieve the arrows.

I love how he puts the Desert Eagle as a good choice my top three firearms for zombie apocalypse are in my opinion #1 AK why it’s reliable and easy to find ammo and accessories #2 AR-15 they are popular in the USA and you can find more accessories for them than the AK but you will have to maintain them more often #3 a 22LR caliber pistol or rifle why you can carry thousands or round and they aren’t as loud as other firearms and you don’t need to have .50 stopping power to take out a zombie

Any good soldier/Marine would maintain their firearms and keep them as clean and lubed as possible contingent on conditions. The AR15 design has been proven in 55 years of world wide use in combat zones so how much more than an AK is debatable. 5.56 ammo is available in most any gun store. Magazines are everywhere and inexpensive.
I'll keep my FN SCAR 17 H. 7.62x51 hits harder and reaches farther than the 7.62x39 AK round. FN makes fantastic weapons and I have full confidence in FN products. I also have an FN FNX .45 as a nice sidearm to complement the rifle.

Compound bow with lots and lots of arrows. Kill effectively with no noise to attract any unwanted’s. It is also no brainer to shot it, it practically shots itself without you knowing how to use a bow. Aim and shot, it’s a silent sniper.
While much quieter Arrows have a distinct whistling noise, they also do require some training on how to knock aim and release, but if you know how to use a bow you should pack one.

If these things are slow and sluggish like they are portrayed in a lot of movies beat them over the head with a stick.
2. A fist.
As long as you don't punch anything sharp on it you will so a lot of damage, you would be surprised at how hard a human can hit.
3. A rock.
Can bludgeon things over the head, can be thrown, literally everywhere.
Here is some tips from me:
1.stay at your home for 2-5 days to let the spread Cool down a bit
2.learn the zombies's behavior
3.go out side with mele weapon and one gun(emergency only)
4.find/make stronger weapon
5.only group up with people with 2-4 people(5-10 if all of you have great Bond an each one of you have good ability)
6.dont stay at one place. Move every 1-5 days and if you run out of place go with a boat,map,and compas
7.reproduce(try to repopulate the humans)

12:45 I'd say the desert eagle is one of the worst weapons to have, it has expensive and rare ammunition and the kick is really big, it is know to fly from the hands of inexperienced shooters and the effective range is small because you can't hit anything because it kicks so high

Even though it’s all good to have, in the zombie apocalypse, it wouldn’t be wise to have armor. Now some of you reading this might say it’s a good idea, but most armor is cumbersome and if you have just a bulletproof vest, it is likely the enemy will be aiming for the head

Bullet “Proof” vests have levels. Starting from stab proof to stopping 50 BMG. (I think)
@@arcqx9676 yes there are levels. However it starts at stabbing, and goes up. Once it's IIIa it stops knives and up to 44 magnum. Then III covers certain rifle rounds but also covers everything before that. Handgun and knives and so on. .50 BMG to my knowledge doesn't have a plate that is rated to stop it guaranteed, only the possibility of stopping fragments or stopping it as a long distance after the round looses alot of energy.
However my biggest point was that the pictures they show arent of plate carriers, or vests, just the chest rigs that go over them, that are basically comparable to cargo trousers for your chest. They go over the plate carrier and allow the holding of spare magazines, knives, patches like unit and blood type, as well as loops for coms and lights etc.
@@diamondwolfpack6 my point is that what they showed for vest, in most cases weren't either vests or plate carriers... They are chest rigs that carry spare magazines, attach radio too, etc etc. Not actually the part that stops knives or rounds....

Ideally you could take a threaded ruger mkIV (22/45 for me because the grip resembles a 1911, which I find super comfy) and then throw a silencer on that shit. Silenced 22 is as quiet as a whisper. At least as far as firearms go.

this video is wildly inaccurate at best, iodine only kills viruses and water filters only filter bacteria they need to be used together, chlorine dioxide kills everything. a full size desert eagle may look cool but it would be grossly inefficient. swiss army knives are a brand you want the right multitool for whatever task you need. fire steels are gimmicky and bic lights are just as good. paracord bracelet are also gimmicky crap there not enough cordage to be useful and paracord is to thin to hold on to while climbing. please do your proper research next time, your videos are well presented, better info would make it better.

A potato would only work as a way of blowing up your gun as well as take off a couple fingers. Thread an adapter that will fit an oil filter and the threads of your gun and use that. Note: If you're in the US DO NOT make that adapter before the apocalypse as it's a felony with a punishment of up to 10 years in prison and/or up to a $10,000 fine. In the UK however you can buy a silencer at any gun shop for about $50.

My thoughts on armor. YES, lol. If you can get ballistic armor, its worth its weigh for survival. If necessary, textbooks or phone books can be improvised into body armor or used to harden shelters/vehicles. If you are prepping for a zombie-type apocalypse (super rabies destroying higher brain function, etc), try the light anti-shark chainmail like Neptunic Sharksuit for bite-proof armor. Motorcycle leathers or racing gear offer decent non-ballistic protection also.
also, another tip if your friend gets bitten or scratched then you can try either cutting the part that has a bite on the body or if it's on the neck than you can try cutting out the piece that got bit. yes, you will have a hole but it will heal.

ALRIGHT LEMME STOP YOU THERE! It completely depends on what kind of zombie we're looking at here, are we looking at zombies who are smart enough that they can run? Are we looking at zombies that are undead? Are we looking at zombies that survive even after all their limbs are shot off including the head? It all depends. For a fast zombie shotgun/machine gun, and long ranged melee like a katana. For normal zombies long range melee and shotgun, sense you probably won't be getting close to them at all, for zombies that die even after there limbs are cut off, any high powered assault rifle shotgun, and a chainsaw or a hack saw, this is assuming any scratch cut or gash by a zombie will be infected and you will become a zombie, so use any method you can to get off as much limbs as you can to make them a torso AFAP.
a zombie doesn't have to be smart enough to know how to run. Like the ones from train to busan, they can run fast as fuck and are easy to fool.
also you mentioned weapons that make too much noise and a katana is not as easy to use as you think, if you have no experience you will end up cutting yourself with it making a horrible wound.

guns wont be as effective as it is against humans then it is to zombies. first off u need plenty of limited ammunition, which can be a hassle. second, without a silencer, exterme vibrations or sounds caused by the blast can cause a motherload of zombies to be attracted. even if u are extremely skilled with a gun, u will be surrounded with zombies all around u before u get your 25 kill streak. the best way to kill a zombie is to either severe the spinal cord, or obliterate the brain of a zombie.This can effectively reduce the the zombies speed, possibly disabling or killing it. instead of pumping lead into a corpse. u might also be a bad shot since u hav to constantly wear a gas mask with limited vision since theres a possibility that the disease is airborne. zombies may lack Intellegence and agility since majority of the brains motor skills have been decimated. so just pretend ur that guy from Dying light and start jumping on cars or something. all in all...guns are the worst item to bring

Duct tape on parts of the jacket around your limbs, torso and maybe even neck actually makes you pretty bite-resistant.
I don't see the point in guns for one they make noise two they only make holes in the zombies because we have to remember they are made of squishy aged flesh and they wouldn't last for long anyways so I think Melee weapons would be the best because you can actually take off the limbs such as heads arms legs etc anyways I would invest into a katana because they are light and quick weapons. They are easily stored and easily made. Well all you need is a blacksmith, a stop sign, and a mold. (Btw the mold can be made with play dough believe it or not)

Y THOU yes if it's against swordsmen or skilled armed fighters training is needed to do that but to chop a zombie not so much you can smite the head with the back side of the sword or stab it with the point to the eye socket or try to cut threw the arms then neck yes you'll be wanting to test what you make on non oh damn gota fight it out this better work time otherwise you are better off with a baseball just watch the guys test drive a good katana vs tatami mat without training but I'd suggest swinging a sword to get a feel for it before you start going fast as you don't want to cut yourself

pretty good list. anything related to getting water is good sense anything that could increase the rate of production or carry amount is good as you really can never have too much in this scenario. but you don't need tablets, just make a fire to make charcoal, and boil the water to kill bacteria, and then use the charcoal to filter it. which is why fire starting is number 1, but a container or a better filter or a rain catcher or something that can collect evaporated water to be distilled are all still nice to have.

You probably picked guns over bows because you can put 20 rounds in you pocket, instead of on you back. However, bows don't require a silencer and you can reuse arrows quite a few times.

This is useful considering it could be around the corner with CWD, i've seen what I hope the most recent strain is because if there is a stronger strain then we may have a full blown zombie apocalypse within weeks, maybe even days.
The strain i saw was rotting the deer's flesh and making it aggresive, it walked in circles for a while before actually charging at another deer and biting it.

1) Grab my camping bag, get on my bike and try to get through my neighbourhood while staying hidden
2) arrive in my local wood area and set up camp
3) once completed, I would try to find survivors if I have a steady supply of food and water (maybe some weapons too)
4) lead a raid back into my neighbourhood to look for supplies
5) continue to lead out raids on abandoned villages
6) generally survive
