Got my A1 combo a couple weeks ago. Love it! Total game changer. Started with a Neptune 3 Pro about a year ago. I learned a lot with that machine. Learned slicing, learned maintenance, learned A LOT of tuning. I put a lot of effort into tuning that machine to get quality results. I didnt mind and wanted to learn. Now i just want to print, and the A1 does that.....perfect...every time! No more messing with Z offset, leveling issues etc. The phone app integration is so handy as well as having the camera. It truly is a game changer for me and its been running non stop since i got it. If you want to LEARN 3d printing, get a Creality, Elegoo, etc. If you just want to PRINT, Bambu 100%
You might be the first one that explains that the p1p can be controlled solely from the app and that the old screen is not a deal breaker . Great review by the way! Sub
Recently, I acquired an A1 and designed a substantial number of models in Fusion. Subsequently, I printed all the models on the A1 using an old spool of generic PETG filament that had been exposed to high environmental humidity. While encountering endless issues with my old Creality 3 V3, the A1 exhibited exceptional performance by producing all the models with remarkable precision. As a result of this experience, I have decided against purchasing another Creality printer, even if it is offered at a lower cost. Bambu Lab deserve the recognition, it really just works!
@@LoyalMoses Just recently got my new A1, and its a godsend, my spent more time on my old printer fixing it than printing, and thats saying something because it spent a lot of time printing due to how slow it is, it was an anycubic i3 mega S i believe.
It would be interesting to see a follow-up video where you did a similar print with multi-color printing to show how the different retraction distance between AMS & AMS-Lite can offset/surpass the acceleration benefit of the P1P.
@@jp9403P1S has faster print speed but AMS light of A1 has faster filament swaps. They're curious which printer will be faster overall in a print with many hours with lots of filament changes.
Another great video. Speed is never an issue for me so I slow down my printing for better print quality with less artifacts. I have an A1 mini and a Flashforge AD5M core xy printer (with printed enclosure) I really like them both. Both print fantastic, both are great value. I will say that with the faster core xy (without making any adjustments) will shake the crap out whatever it is on when doing infill and the A1 mini doesn’t really do that. Slowing both of these down (outer wall speed, infill speeds and travel speeds) to about the same it would be hard for me to choose which one I like better. If I had to choose I would pick the A1 mini, only because the AMS. I know it’s wasteful, but sometimes you just want that multicolored option (my core xy does not have a AMS option). One thing I like that you showed is that even printing with a Bambu, not everything comes out perfect. I couldn’t agree more though that Bambu makes fantastic printers and you can’t really go wrong choosing one.
How did I not see this comment?!? Thank you TinTalon for taking the time to share this. Remember my old studio bench, they shook it like mad and I agree, can’t choose a bad Bambu machine. I sure hope you are liking your new Neptune!
I got the P1S. When I was looking at printers in July when Bambu was having their anniversary sale, I watched a number of videos about the differences between bed slingers and core xy printers and due to where I was planning on having the printer I chose to go with an enclosed version. There were a few reasons for getting the P1S over the P1P: 1. Breezes/Drafts: I have an evaporative cooler instead of an AC and the office, where the printer is located has a window that is usually cracked to help alleviate air pressure and the printer is in the flow of the air coming into the office and going towards the window, so I didn't want to have to deal with issues when there's potential drafts when the evaporative cooler is running during the summer months. 2. Humidity: Also because of the evaporative cooler, I didn't want to have to worry about humidity being an issue with printing during the summer months. 3. Exotic Materials: I also wanted the ability to potentially try out some of the more exotic materials that require printing in an enclosed printer without having to buying another printer or making an enclosure for it. I also liked the idea of the AMS over the AMS Lite, so that was another item that drove me over the P series instead of one of the A series printers. Would be interesting to see how the P1P and P1S are compared side by side in print tests to show the differences between being enclosed versus open. Great video, been loving them since I came across your channel almost 2 months ago.
@@PeterLukac-r9ncorrect the enclosure isn’t air tight but it does help keep the heat from printing within the build area helping to keep the humidity down when printing than without the enclosure. The AMS lid does have a gasket that is sits on when closed and there are latches to help keep the lid pressed down, so it’s more air tight than the printer enclosure. So far it’s been working well for me. The other reason for the enclosure is to prevent drafts from affecting prints. Since I have the printer in a tiny office and is near the door, I walk past the printer often and also sometimes have the window open to allow air to flow out so that can create drafts where the printer is located.
@@EngineerWilky81 Im deciding between A1 and P1S. Not sure if I will need ABS. Temp where my printer will be, is only 15C and possible drafts, do you think if I build simple cabinet enclosure with 4-5 panels, will that eliminate issues? Bambu recommends not to enclosure A1. Also filament could be feed directly from active dryer.
I have both, maintenance and working on the printer the A1 is far easier than the p1p. If abs and pc are needed then the p1s is a no brainer choice. You could choose any of the Bambu lab printers as a first time new to 3d printing beginner machine, but the A1 would be just ahead of the others just for accessibility and ease of maintenance. Great video
I agree with you 100%! I don’t think you can go wrong with any of them, and that’s the problem with trying to recommend one. They are all so freaking good!
I bought my a1 during first week of July, I had told myself "PETG will be good enough". I loved it, printed non stop, and I immediately got into making my own functional stuff, repair pieces, even for friends and neighbours... and then I ended up realizing... and now here I am with an A1 and a P1S aswell, which in 5 days that I own it has already 40 hours of print time on abs!
ABS prints fine on A1. Enclosed i get about 40-45C air temperature, ABS prints fine unless you have something large. Printer is capable working at this temperature without any issue.
@@dtibor5903I agree it can be done, I used to print pc and abs on my Creality Ender 3 s1, but if you got an enclosed printer it’s just a little easier and ofc to vent those fumes safely.
So the Bambu Studio now has print quality settings, Standard, high q Quality and Optimal Quality. It would be nice to learn about the various quality settings, pros and cons, potential issues, etc. I enjoy your 3D videos as they cover topics that I find informative. Thanks for the great videos.
Van sneaking in and doing the unboxing. Both these printers are just great user experience and so simple to get running. Bambu just IS the go to printer. Great video.
I recently got an A1 AMS Combo, and I have to say, it's amazing... although it costs around the $800 mark over here in South Africa... which sucks so bad. So far it has been amazing, it prints PETG like neither my K1 or B1 could imagine.
I've had my A1 Combo for over seven months, now with no issues at all. I did replace the power cord, ever though I didn't need too. Just being safe than sorry. Nice comparison.
Hard to explain without using them but the P1 series is more Industrial Feeling like a well built machine that has to get work done. The A1 feels fun and entertaining to print with. Kind of a Grown Up Printer vs Tweener Printer kind of feel. Both are great. After 4000 hour combined on our 2 P1P's (now converted to P1S's) and A1, I can say It's all about preference between these machines. If you compare the A1 to P1S it's not a fair battle but the P1P that's a different story.
I have the A1 with AMS and love it. Moses, my question is have you tried lowering the acceleration to see if the print quality are the same between both. Also would that make the P1P quieter. My A1 is in an enclosure to eliminate drafts. The back is open and i monitor temps so that is not an issue for me. I need it to be quite then fast. Great information, like always.
@@lostinseale Have you just put 1 table top on each side of A1? Place where I will print might be approx 15C and possible draft. Would that be an issue if I dont build enclosure with at least 3-4 panels? Or would I better get P1S ?

Hi, I have a P1s and two A1s, all with AMS. And I come to the same conclusion, the P1s is faster printing but the filament changes are much faster on the A1. The P1S is much noisier. As for the screens, although the A1 is better, I rarely use them, all because of Bambu Studio. Both are great printers, although about the cameras, I'd rather not comment on them haha.
Hello I have recently entered the world of 3d printing, I have several projects and I am in a big dilemma. Now I have A1 and I have to buy another printer. I'm undecided whether to take all A1 or P1P, I only print in PLA and that's it, I'll have to make statues and figurines. From what I've read, the Core XY ones are more accurate in height? is it true or A1 gives the same result as P1P? Did you find P1P it's a much better quality print/same quality ? For me, print time doesn't matter Thank you
For me, the P1S is where it’s at. It’s basically a P1P that’s fully enclosed, for much less than buying a P1P plus enclosure. I’m an original X1C Combo Kickstarter owner, and was considering adding an A1, but I finally decided that I didn’t want to go back to a bed slinger and I didn’t like the AMS Lite issues. That lead me to the P1P, but the P1S Combo was the best deal when also wanting AMS.
I bought the P1P at sale, and I am very happy. The reason i bought it and not the P1S or the p1S combo is that i am a noob in printing and want to learn. But didnt want to have to buy another printer for printing ABS and so on. SO i bought the P1P so i can buy the upgrage kit to "P1S". And then a friend ended up sellig me his A1 Mini combo and i use it more than the P1P because of the AMS Lite. So i will be selling my P1P and just buying a P1S combo. But hey, you live and learn.
So happy with my A1, what a leap forward it was compared to my Ender 3. On one hand while I appreciate the skills I learned having to troubleshoot and upgrade my Ender, If the 3D printer market ever wants to gain further adoption from new users we need more printers like this that lower the barrier of entry.
Wouldn't it be fun to do this comparison again (extend) and print both printers on same acceleration? So both on 6K to match default A1, and both on 10K to match default P1 :)
I ended up with the X1C after the cord issue with the A1, I still miss the A1's nozzle changes and tunes you can make it play and customize the sounds.
Superbe vidéo comme d'habitude , effectivement je possèdes également les 2 machines et les qualités d' impressions sont similaire , avec une p1p un peu plus rapide , de belles machines dont je ne suis pas près de me séparer , a bientôt...........
Just found your channel and one of your videos introduced me to the Qidi Tech X-Plus 3 printer. But going though your video list, im not seeing hardly any videos on it and many videos focusing on Bambu printers. Is that mainly because they can print in multi-color and the Qidi one cannot? If not, what is the reason?
The X-Plus 3 has been in a couple of videos, and we probably have 4 or 5 QIDI videos. But we have a lot more Bambu printers, and a lot more of our audience owns Bambu machines. Multicolor printing is also popular and Bambu does it the best.
From here it looks like the print quality on the P1P is better. I'm looking for my second Bambu Lab and was leaning toward the A1 until this video. Now I'm thinking P1P or save a little more and get the P1S.
I’ll say I bought an A1 first. Loved it so much I bought a P1S. At first I was bummed. Layer staking was not as good and the ringing. But after 100 or so hours my P1S now prints better. I bought a second P1S and that was the same way. Almost like they have a break in period. I think the carbon rods eventually wear in a bit. But just my thoughts. :) they are both great printers!
@@JuddMan03 idk because when I first got them I adjusted the belts and got them to ride center on the pulleys. Who the heck knows, all I know is two different printers and they both got better after a bit of printing. Which is nice because at first I was mad I spent the extra on the P1S. It wasn’t bad by any means. Just not as nice as the A1.
Wonderful review but I am considering one of these for my 13 year old daughter. This will be her first experience with a 3d printer which if the two would you suggest for a beginner?
Thank you! The A1 is going to be the least intimidating and is more intuitive with the touch screen. Congratulations too! I hope she loves it! My daughter has the A1 mini her room, and loves it, so the A1 would be very similar and produce fantastic prints.
I have the A1 with the AMS lite and I have the X1C with the AMS and really I’ve had less trouble with the A1. If I had it to do over again and knew I wasn’t ever going to print with exotic filaments, I would’ve bought two A1s, one day I might have to print with a more exotic filament so I’m not sorry I bought the X1C. But if I ever buy another one, it will be an A1. I am not in business and I don’t need superspeed compared to the P1. However, if I was going to do business, I would have only P1 because time is money.
Great comparison, very interesting. It would be great to see a comparison between the A1 and the A1 Mini, as although they are almost identical, the bed inertia of the A1 Mini makes it more suitable for layers below 0.08, just like the Z-axis guide rail and the type of linear on the Y-axis. In my tests, the Mini has given me better results with 0.06 layers, although I didn’t maintain a consistent methodology since I didn’t start with the same spool at the same time and temperature, with the same humidity and ambient temperature. Best regards, and congratulations on the channel!

hello man, remember me? you asked me to post videos of my voron printing fast, its in my channel, didn't manage to tag you for some reason its in the shorts section
I have a younger sibling at home, so I’m not sure if I should get a machine that’s quieter/a1 or enclosed/p1s so he can’t touch it and no spills. The a1 has a touchscreen, while the p1s is more faster while being more rigid. Which one should I get?
Both are good but the P1P is in a weird position right now as it when it came out, the A1 probably wasn't even planned. Now as it stands the A1 is obviously the better pick for the money and for the better technology as it has the pressure advance and the flow calibration built into the print head as well as easier nozzle changes and simpler maintenance if a clog happens. As someone who runs a print farm you'll encounter issues with the A1 around the 850h mark, then it's better to recalibrate the printer or you'll slowly see print quality degrade(at least that was the case for me). I've seen other's run P1Ps with more success but as I also have X1Cs with similar issues makes me wonder should I consider the other competition if I can't figure out the reliability fall off before I bulk order more printers.
We recalibrate whenever we move it between studios for filming. I spoke with Bambu about the P1P before they sent it over (sent it specifically for comparison content), and they told me it remains VERY popular for print farm operations. It’s such a good, clean, powerful machine.
i have a question that you may be able to answer. so i made a dedicated 3d print room and i added a 6" inline fan to the wall pulling the smell outside of the room and i bought this Husky 4 Tier Garage Storage Shelving Unit to put a couple A1 with ams lite. i plan on enclosing all around and the bottom of the top shelf so as if it had an enclosure and i wanted to do this to not get Breeze drafts and i would prob enclose the top part when printing cf and more abrasive materials that you can do with the p1s since it has an enclosure. i figured if i create this enclosure on the top rack for the a1s i can print the same materials the p1s can print since the a1 has hardened gears and nozzle you can add. Does this seem about right? being able to print the same type of filament as the p1s and having that enclosure to not get breeze draft from the inline fan pulling out too much air/smell from the room? the room itself has a vent that will open up if it has negative pressure so that humidity is not a problem. the room next to it has a ac running with cool air. Am i onto something or will i mess anything up like humidity issues inside the enclosure i make by doing that enclosure to the top shelving section of the rack?
The only limitation on enclosing the A1 is to make sure you keep the electronics open to the air, they can overheat. As or moisture, if you live in an area with high or moderate humidity, you'll need to reduce that moister somehow or keep filament sealed away from it. I think you have a pretty cool idea and I'd love to hear how it turns out.
P1P without AMS vs A1 with AMS at the same price goes hands down to A1 combo. I had both but preferred the P1P since it was better for slow motion video when using an external camera, however i don’t have an AMS for the P1P and it is more cost effective just to get the A1 combo given my use case. I do feel the P1P and P1S have their place especially when you are printing taller objects.
I think the A1 did a better job than the P1P. Parts worked a little better. It comes down to price and features. Both are excellent. For me I like the encloser like the X1 Carbon or K1 Max in which I both own. That way I can do anything. I would love to see a larger encloser like 400x400x500mm build plate. Maybe one day. Love this video.

Would still like to step up from my Ender 3 printers, but I've got other financial obligations at the moment. Will be interesting to see what changes over the next year or so.
Makes no sense in any way as the P1P is literally the same than P1S without enclosing and minimal other features. It all depends on what you are printing. I have around 30 BBL Printers in my farm and 12 are X1C, rest is a mix of P1P, P1S and A1 Mini. I skipped the A1 cause for me there is no benefit over a P1P besides the pricetag. And for really cheap prints i use the A1 Mini which comes at 199 . For example I print Carbon Fiber Material and PC etc on my X1C´s, P1S I use for non Fiber Materials and with special buildplates for PolyPropylene. P1P mostly prints TPU, PLA and PETG where you want to have a good cooling and you avoiding an enclosed chamber. A1 Mini print cheap stuff where the printbed is more that sufficient. I will upgrade them all for automated printing once Jobbox is releasing the A1 Mini kit.
It’s not about what makes sense to you or I. There are people that are choosing printers and are struggling to figure out which one is the right one for them. Some are having trouble deciding between a machine that prints basic filaments and a machine that is enclosed and prints more exotic filaments. For some it will be the difference in AMSs. Whatever the reason, that’s okay, we’ll be positive and help them out.
I wonder if people realize just how quiet the A1 is... Even enclosed, the P1S/P1P is so much louder than the A1 which is basically like ambient noise. I could fall asleep in the same room as the A1 while I can easily hear the P1S sitting in the next room over.
It’s been reviewed and confirmed compared before hasn’t it. They are different printers. Would be more interested in P1P versus X1. Though that has perhaps been done as well.
I bought 3 Elegoo 4 max printers about 5 months ago and have had nothing but issues with them total nightmare. I decided to buy 2 p1s combos they arrived yesterday super easy to set up and connect to my phone and pc. I've printed a bunch of things on them 0 issues so far but still early days I've had them running less than 24 hours but so far my 4m Elegoo printers look like a joke in comparison. my thoughts so far are they may be a bit more expensive but Bambu lab printers just work and if your a complete novice like me they are perfect.
Would be nice to share the X1C/P1S AMS with the A1 but they're not compatible... I understand Bambulab marketing strategy but the AMS light is not good for me
After upgrading to a P1S Combo from an Ender 3 Neo, I find that the P1 is consistently limited by material. That's in contrast to the Ender, which was limited by hardware. What I mean by this, is on my Ender, i would often find myself upping the layer heights to get the print to finish faster. This is because it could only print 120mm/s max, so any filament with a VFR >10 was being limited by the printer itself. But the P1 is the opposite. It can print practically any filament i can throw at it, with exceptional reliability and quality, at that filament's max VFR. Yes, I understand that i could have purchased upgrades for the Ender i.e upgraded hotend, better cooling, direct drive, bigger nozzle etc, but by the time i buy all of that and tinker around and fine tune it all, the P1 does it all for almost the same price and then some! I still have my Ender, keeping it as ole' reliable, maybe even try out ender NG. Being able to play with the big guns (exotic filaments, multicolor, automation, Maker World, etc) is so much fun and definitely worth the price.
Just for fun I downloaded the elephant and sliced it for my Prusa MK3S+. Using the standard 0.2 layer height, it sliced out to well over 13 hours printing time. Sigh.
NGTL, as much as the screen moved on the P1P is honestly sad, unless it was just my phone, but it's a decent machine regardless of if I agree with the company or not
Run the calibration on it again and make sure the firmware is up to date! Clean that build plate again, very well and if you like, apply a little light layer of glue stick!
@@LoyalMoses It seens like filiment leaks while auto calibration when I print with PETG, the filliment leaks makes z offset too high, when I print PLA it usually fine, even thought it still prints, but it is anoyying when you can see your first layer lines special with designs need to show first layer
I have a couple of the bamboo printers and the A1 is my least favorite. It is definitely one I won't buy again. I have the first one not the one he's showcasing and I hate it. It sits on the floor. I'm trying to figure out what to do with it. I try to do a return and get the money back to get a p1p or p1s and it never happened
Sorry to hear that. Mine is the original one as I said in the video. It was the one sent out before launch. It’s best if you articulate why you won’t buy something, in-case there are others that might be interested in reading your comments. Most readers skip over comments where people “hate” something, they’d rather read objective experiences, otherwise they just discount the comment as just another hater. Every legitimate experience is helpful.
I got a P1S for the enclosure but if it weren't for that, id have got an A1 hands down. Changing the nozzle is a bit delicate on the P1 as you have to unplug fragile connectors. The AMS also seems way over-engineered compared to the AMS lite.
I agree that the changing of nozzles is much simpler and less prone to breaking things with the A series printers over the P series and X series. It's a bummer that you have to change out the entire hotend to use different nozzle sizes. There are 3rd party hotends out there that make changing simpler and quicker by only having the change the nozzle and not the entire hotend. I pre-ordered the new Mako Hotend that Slice Engineering is making for the Bambu printers as I like the idea of being able to change out the nozzle for the different sizes and not have to change the entire hotend. The AMS may seem a little overengineered, but I like how it's essentially a dry box so you can have the 4 spools ready for printing at anytime especially if you're worried about any humidity issues. The AMS Lite does have the benefit of working better with non-bambu filament spools as compared to the AMS, I liked the thought of being able to potentially have up to 4 AMS units for a single printer mainly for the purpose of having several spools ready to be used at anytime more than being able to do multi-color prints.
should have put the p1p at the same acceleration speed and reprinted it.. just to see if it matters. bed slinger vs head slinger. because now it's an unfair comparison.
So many people get confused… this isn’t a technical comparison, it’s a user experience comparison of what you would expect from the machine with the default profiles.
"BuT LoYaL - If YoU UsE GlUe On ThE BeD iT's BeCaUsE yOu DoN't KnOw HoW tO PrInT RiGhT" -- Sigh - I use Nano Poly and never had a Failure. - Love it and was on your recommendation
Why going to put effort in a head to head comparison between the P1P VS P1S? Both are already heading to become dated printers with the A1 already on the shelves and the X1C/P1S followup just around the corner. Both have equal hardware and the only difference is that 1 is enclosed and the other is not. The P1S already seems to be on a permanent sale which already makes the price difference between P1P and P1S a no-brainer. There's just a €100 diference between them. Upgrading a P1P with the P1S kit will you even cost €200. That's double the difference of getting the P1S right away.
Very simple. I know which one i’d buy, but there are people that can’t decide which one they might want. Remember, not every video is for you. It’s also about the content and the story I choose to tell. Maybe someone wants to have a customized enclosure and the P1P is the one that provides that for them. Rather than be anti-content, choose to be supportive of more content for those who need or want it. It’s better for our awesome industry and hobby.👍

I haven't been keeping up with 3d printing for a while, can you explain what you're talking about? What does the AMS help surpass?
There were a few reasons for getting the P1S over the P1P:
Thanks for sharing!
How does enclosure helps to deal with humidity ? The enclosure is not air tight, and even I doubt that AMS is fully airtight.
Isn’t that incredible?! They are making this so dang accessible to everyone, I love it! Congrats on your machines!
I think only the layer height changes
Layer height and speed / acceleration for some, I’ll double check.
That is a great idea!!! I’ll do it! And thank you for the kind words.
I just got my A1 with ams lite about 10 days ago. love it. quiet and so much faster then my old ender 3.
So awesome! It’s such a great machine, I wish more people knew!!!
Van sneaking in and doing the unboxing. Both these printers are just great user experience and so simple to get running. Bambu just IS the go to printer. Great video.
Isn’t that cool! He did the unboxing and got it all set up for me, and he’s doing his own content as well.
I recently got an A1 AMS Combo, and I have to say, it's amazing... although it costs around the $800 mark over here in South Africa... which sucks so bad.
So far it has been amazing, it prints PETG like neither my K1 or B1 could imagine.
$800 is really high! Wow! I am so glad you like it! 💜
And what about here in Brazil... Almost $1.000 A1 AMS Combo.
I've had my A1 Combo for over seven months, now with no issues at all. I did replace the power cord, ever though I didn't need too. Just being safe than sorry. Nice comparison.
Awesome and thank you!
Can you say more about that? Whats unsafe with the default cord?
Thanks a lot for your review, it's exactly what I Need to decide what 3d printer to buy. Probably the P1P!.
Exactly! They’ve marketed it that way too. The A1 being a great entry point and the P1P being a manufacturing choice.
Great comparison, thanks loyal Moses
My absolute pleasure! Thank you for watching and the kind words!
You could definitely lower the acceleration and change the results for sure. They are both incredibly capable machines.
How did you made an enclosure for A1?
@@PeterLukac-r9nI used two lack tables from ikea.
@@lostinseale Have you just put 1 table top on each side of A1? Place where I will print might be approx 15C and possible draft. Would that be an issue if I dont build enclosure with at least 3-4 panels? Or would I better get P1S ?
@@PeterLukac-r9n In your case I would go with he P1S. Mine is almost like a show piece. in my office to wow people. I love the A1 and would buy it again but if I had this out in my workshop I would go P1S.
Hello
I have recently entered the world of 3d printing, I have several projects and I am in a big dilemma. For me, print time doesn't matter
Thank you
Such good machines!
*THANK YOU* for finally addressing the elephant in the room!
Hahaha!
This is just awesome! Thank you for sharing! 💜
if you dont need the fancy material ( normally for a house user you dont ) just buy the A1 with AMS Lite . Way cheaper . its awsome
Awesome!
Wouldn't it be fun to do this comparison again (extend) and print both printers on same acceleration? So both on 6K to match default A1, and both on 10K to match default P1 :)
We could do that, that could be fun for sure, max out speeds or slow them both way down! Choose some REALLY difficult models! 🔥
@@LoyalMoses would love to see that (could do it myself too ... but I'll leave it to the pro's 🙂)
That would give some good examples of how the prints turn out on different styles of printers when both printers are using the same speed settings.
I ended up with the X1C after the cord issue with the A1, I still miss the A1's nozzle changes and tunes you can make it play and customize the sounds.
Nice upgrade too!!
Superbe vidéo comme d'habitude , effectivement je possèdes également les 2 machines et les qualités d' impressions sont similaire , avec une p1p un peu plus rapide , de belles machines
dont je ne suis pas près de me séparer , a bientôt...........
Thank you so much!
Merci je trouve le choix très dure entre les deux model 😅
Just found your channel and one of your videos introduced me to the Qidi Tech X-Plus 3 printer. But going though your video list, im not seeing hardly any videos on it and many videos focusing on Bambu printers. Is that mainly because they can print in multi-color and the Qidi one cannot? If not, what is the reason?
The X-Plus 3 has been in a couple of videos, and we probably have 4 or 5 QIDI videos. But we have a lot more Bambu printers, and a lot more of our audience owns Bambu machines.
Multicolor printing is also popular and Bambu does it the best.
another great video! thanks for being so informative
Thank you!!! Also, you gonna be at the show on Friday?
@@LoyalMoses wouldn't miss it! Love the shows and I always try to be there on time =)
Awesome! Love seeing you there too! Good luck!
Wow!!! Now you have a fleet of awesomeness!!!
The ringing might be due to the belt tension, so a wear in period would make sense.
Thank you for sharing! Great choices too!
Thanks!

Awesome! Very cool!
9:32 also the P1P was out of the box right? Assuming, you didnt tune it. So after tuning could be as good or better!
Just upgraded firmware when it prompted and hit print.
What setting would you suggest changing on the P1 to get Around the same quality as the slower a1 without sacrificing too much of the speed advantage?
I have a younger sibling at home, so I’m not sure if I should get a machine that’s quieter/a1 or enclosed/p1s so he can’t touch it and no spills. The a1 has a touchscreen, while the p1s is more faster while being more rigid. Which one should I get?
Would be great to see a comparison of a taller print since the higher up it goes on a bedslinger usually increases the chance of various artifacts.
It can, but they do well compensating and they calculate the weight of the print in grams and adjust.
Picking the A1 for the hotend swapping, I need to use a 0.2mm nozzle
Awesome!
Like switching out the whole hotend assembly on the p1p is pretty easy and quick as well.
2 screws and then a couple of cables..
Great video. Ill point everyone to this video when i’m asked this question. I prefer corexy myself.
Awesome! Thank you!
Awesome!
It did great!
Great ! Thank you
Very welcome!

Everything is changing quickly!
Bed slingers will always suck at rendering tall objects at reasonable speed.
Sort of. They actually take weight into account along with input shaping, but high speed tall prints will definitely be problematic.

Would be interested to see you do a A1 vs P1S
If I did, what should I print?? 🤔
Amazing tech.
It’s been reviewed and confirmed compared before hasn’t it.
They are different printers.
Would be more interested in P1P versus X1.
Though that has perhaps been done as well.
I suppose there should only be one iPhone video on UA-cam then.
I have both and love them both
Very cool!

Can the p1s be upgraded to a x1c competitive level
I bought 3 Elegoo 4 max printers about 5 months ago and have had nothing but issues with them total nightmare. I decided to buy 2 p1s combos they arrived yesterday super easy to set up and connect to my phone and pc. I've printed a bunch of things on them 0 issues so far but still early days I've had them running less than 24 hours but so far my 4m Elegoo printers look like a joke in comparison. my thoughts so far are they may be a bit more expensive but Bambu lab printers just work and if your a complete novice like me they are perfect.
Thanks for sharing!
Would be nice to share the X1C/P1S AMS with the A1 but they're not compatible... I understand Bambulab marketing strategy but the AMS light is not good for me
A lot of comments lately, people prefer the AMS Lite, which I thought was interesting.
Thanks for sharing!

It’s best if you articulate why you won’t buy something, in-case there are others that might be interested in reading your comments. no "let's talk about the elephant in the room"? I'm disappointed in you.
Alex. I’m going to consult with you for all future puns.
The design on the A1 is just SOOOO good!
should have put the p1p at the same acceleration speed and reprinted it.. just to see if it matters. bed slinger vs head slinger. because now it's an unfair comparison.
So many people get confused… this isn’t a technical comparison, it’s a user experience comparison of what you would expect from the machine with the default profiles.
@@LoyalMoses so maybe do it in another video? i am quality over speed myself. so if the p1p does a nicer job at the same speed as the a1...
Definitely! We could do it in another video.
You are just trying to address the elephant in the room right?
Oh. Wow. 🤣
P1 vs new K1 SE
That’s exactly why the P1P showed up, because I have the new K1 SE here in a box, videos soon!!!
@@LoyalMoses super interesting what machine is more reliable. maybe you can do super big prints on them...
I’d love to do some larger prints on it!
"BuT LoYaL - If YoU UsE GlUe On ThE BeD iT's BeCaUsE yOu DoN't KnOw HoW tO PrInT RiGhT" -- Sigh - I use Nano Poly and never had a Failure. - Love it and was on your recommendation
Haha! I hear that so much! Thank you for this, gave me a laugh this morning! @visionminer is amazing stuff! 💜
It seems to me that Bambu Labs has taken over the top spot as the go-to reference machine. Bye Bye Prusa.
Crazy how fast everything can change.
@@LoyalMosesThanks for the video. 👍
@@LoyalMoses I would absolutely do custom panels. The Borg cube, or a custom Mario question block, would be the first two I would consider making for it.
So welcome! Thank you!
I want to do the Mario cube!!!
The Bambulab A1 VS the Anycubic kobra 3
YES!!! I need a Kobra 3 and I’ll do it!
Looks like both printers have some serious elephant foot issues... (ba-dum-tish)
Oh my gosh! LOL
So you did a print comparison but didn't use the same settings, nice one 🙄
You have trouble understanding simple concepts - let me elaborate... Oh... wait... smaller words. Let me explain.
This is a user experience comparison, NOT a technical comparison - it is the results you would expect from each printer with default settings, which is how 99% of 3D printer owners actually use their printers.
Also, why would I slow down or handicap a faster machine to compare against a slower machine?! That makes ABSOLUTELY NO SENSE.
