Yeah but thats never really as good as going for the actual parry. A parry gives you a heavy, takes a chunk of stamina and you can throw them into a wall for a bit of extra damage. Its less safe but if you screw up parry timing by just using the heavy you have a chance to hit them anyway. Thats why its best to use the zone to parry. Much less risky than regular parries and timing the heavy just after blocking
As a shinobi I’ve found doing a side heavy (after you roll in from a ranged attack) is guaranteed if conq dashes to the side to shield bash. I catch conqs, wardens, and other shinobi with that all the time. Rep 14 shinobi
Handy but as conq you should never try to deflect shinobis hits from range anyway. You'll never land the shield bash so its not worth it. Especially if conq gets punished like you say
Hey Sir id you should start doing a heavy into guardbreak after getting a shove for a heavy it works but is tricky because you are suppose to instantly do it but sometimes it’ll make you do a charge bash so practice in AI you have to act as if you are doing a guardbreak while you cancel the heavy at the same time
Sir id yes but with the bug it seems not needed unless you use a bash from the left or right then you should try it so you can get a heavy but its tricky because you can’t wait in your all block and then guard break you have to cancel with your all block immediately or actually doing at the same time so that its an instant cancel into a guardbreak kind of like centurion me and some of my friends discovered this when we were goofing around. I've found it working on heavy chained into bash into heavy as well, as long as you don't attack the direction they are blocking when you shove. Didn't work on warlord, but definitely did against Shugoki. Pretty interesting.
Ah for that you have to treat conqs dodge like a deflect. Its not in his move list but wherever he dashes he blocks. So if you dash into and attack and press shield bash, they'll always get hit by it

Sell Snacks you need to rely mainly on blocking, parrying and then punish violently. Your shield stops every attack chain only blocking. You can charge your heavy attack to highly increase damage and encourage the opponent to react, block any attack and land your charged heavy to break your opponent. The shield bash is the best tool, it always gives you a free attack and it can be chained after a heavy attack (just don't spam heavies and bashes as your stamina will drain really fast and you'd be a dick). Personally I don't use his zone attack too much but I'd consider using it, you have it! You can't cancel heavy attacks, but you can still feint them with the full block stance (I wouldn't recommend relying too much on being offensive and feinting much, conqueror is a defensive character and note that full block stance drains stamina). In my opinion, conqueror's best ability is: instead of pressing heavy attack exactly when there is an incoming attack (parry), if you press heavy attack just before, the incoming attack will be blocked and you get a free heavy. Good luck using the conqueror!

Best probably; Highlander, Shugoki, Lawbro, kinda warlord too now it feels. Basically anyone slow more or less. Worst probably; Warden, Gladiator, and shinobi. Anyone with lots of unblockables. Everyone else is sort of in-between but its usually quite hit and miss. Like raider is the most 50 50 matchup for him. Sometimes raider can body me sometimes I body raider. It just comes down to individuals play styles at that point

Its too easy to dodge and punish that move. I very rarely go for the heavy shield bash just because of how slow it is. A good follow up after a gb side heavy that i should be using more though is definitely second heavy cancel into gb. Its good because most people think conq can't do it

You can’t fake them out with a forward dodge, cause they’ll catch you regardless. That forward dodge, I don’t think it’s a bug, and if it is, then it should stay, but people like you give it a bad wrap. I didn’t see much utilization of his light or heavy feint, which is something you absolutely should work on. I hardly ever use zone, so I have no comment on that. Forward dodge heavy is something that deserves to stay, and it seems like it was unintentional, but Ubi decided to keep it. I’ve been playing conq since beta and it’s been there since said beta.

You use very few moves but if you know how to use them all at the right time and master the basics you become a god with him. Same principle except in conqs case you need to master the right time to use a bug. Although it still is less damage than orochis double top light. Its just proof that when ubisoft won't buff conq he'll buff himself =)

It's all about timing. That and it only works from a forward bash into a side heavy. Just gotta make sure you heavy at the side they aren't blocking

That forward dodge, I don’t think it’s a bug, and if it is, then it should stay, but people like you give it a bad wrap. I didn’t see much utilization of his light or heavy feint, which is something you absolutely should work on. I hardly ever use zone, so I have no comment on that. Forward dodge heavy is something that deserves to stay, and it seems like it was unintentional, but Ubi decided to keep it. I’ve been playing conq since beta and it’s been there since said beta.

Ah but who needs to feint when you can zone. Zoneing kicks way more ass than using lights. And has the added bonus of being incredibly safe

Now that I'd pay money to see. You should start her streaming xD. And yes while it is a simple play style it does take time to master. It's more or less the same deal orochi has. You use very few moves but if you know how to use them all at the right time and master the basics you become a god with him. Same principle except in conqs case you need to master the right time to use a bug. Although it still is less damage than orochis double top light. Its just proof that when ubisoft won't buff conq he'll buff himself =)
Sir id Well i think the heavy followup on light bash wasn't something intended, and i blame Ubisoft first because they didn't fix it and it's still there, i'm cq main and i would say he needs a buff, but this is not the way, free heavy on light bash is really too much and a bit unfair.
