Me trying to be annoyed from getting lost in vergen but music is too chilling

One of the most beautiful pieces of music I've ever experienced.
I like rather Flotsam theme but this one is amazing as well.
It's pretty close to perfection. I love love love this track.
I love this so much. I love how it gets partially cloudy in Vergen too, it really adds to the atmosphere.
This whole game is oozing with atmosphere. This song and A Nearly Peaceful Place are crazy insane great

Witcher 2 has such a beautiful music.
This track is absolutely beautiful. All of the Witcher games have amazing soundtracks.❤
But I find the soundtracks from TW1 and TW3 more emotional. Im in Loc Muinne cap (my first run), and for now I still not found a memorable ost

Each locations felt more distinct in witcher 2, Flotsam ofc always my comfort place.

@@artilleriman You know what, you're right, i just wish there were more culturally vary locations to go to even if that would make the map smaller.
At first I felt really bad about choosing Ioverth instead of Roche, but everything made sense when I arrived in Vergen. What a beautiful place.
U just can’t bring myself to choose the Elf knowing Geralt according to lore would never associate with Scoiatel, but feel like I’m missing out on this location 😟
@@George-um2vcIorveth path is my favourite and I love Vergen. Kaedweni Camp is rather boring and I hate what happens to Ves there. Haven't you really tried that path at all?
@@saskiasia I have only played it once, I agree that the camp is kinda boring, might choose the elf dude next time
@@George-um2vc Yes, give it a try, you'll meet new characters there, different story and quests and also Loc Muine looks a bit tidier. You'll have two new chapters, really worth exploring that part of the game. Have fun!

I love the soundtrack to this game so much! This song is by far my favorite it's very soothing and one of those songs that you can just sit somewhere outside and read a book, sleep to and just let everything fall away from your mind. the whole soundtrack is just perfect! ^_^

Vergen was a special place that made you really feel the essence of what we mean by socialism. I know this sounds ridiculous to many of you trapped in the deadlock of contemporary discourse but some of us really do still dream of a better tomorrow. And it will be built through a painstaking process in which each of us lay one stone upon another. Witcher 2 made me feel that intuitively instead of just in some heady theoretical way. Respect to the creators because they were true passionate thinkers to make a work of art like this.
Exactly! Saskia is a leader with a vision of equality and fraternity among the residents of her kingdom. Ironically, Communism does not involve a "king" or a "queen" but cooperation to overcome problems, collective sacrifice for the well-being of all and the overcoming of differences. This is the great legacy of Saskia and Vergen's experience. Just like the Paris Commune, a cruel, imperial army destroyed that dream.
Not as strong of an endorsement as you think it is, considering it takes a magical dragon queen to have a whiff of a hope of working out.
@NAPViolator lol nice one. My point was just that there was a spirit among the citizens of vergen that they were building something new regardless of Saskia. She served as the symbol of it but, were she to buck that spirit, she would be at odds with revolution. So she would either have to ride the wave or try to crush it.

humans are not capable of maintaining a socialist society at any kind of large scale. There are too many sociopaths and psychopaths who *always* rise to the top, because they are willing to do anything to do so. We are too tribal. At the end of the day, we always look out for ourselves and those we immediately care about more than the masses. How many socialist states need to fail, and how many people need to die before we see that it does not work?
