Always found Achilles an admirable example of masculinity and honor. He prefered to die young but known for the eternity rather than just passing away by natural causes and be forgotten by even his own descendants. His legacy would inspire some of the great generals that ever existed like Alexander the Great or Germanicus Caesar

Hi, great video! I was wondering whether you'd consider releasing some of the audio you make for the videos as a podcast? I like the way you narrate the stories but as beautiful as the pictures are I like to listen to stories as a rest from work and a big part of that is not looking at a screen and there's other cases when just audio is preferable and I'm sure there are others that'd listen in. That's all, keep up the great work!

It is clear from the story and from archeological evidence that the people of "Troy" were not Greeks. Homer used the war as a literary device to instill nationalistic and ethnic pride. This can only work if the people of Troy were not greeks. Plus many of Troys allies were what the greeks considered to be barbarians (foreigners). The Amazons and Lycians come to my mind. As for the actual people who inhabited what we call Troy, it would seem that they were a city state belonging to the Hittite empire, not greeks at all.

@urielseuthes7484 Trojans were not Greeks! Homer never calls them Greeks! _He never even calls the Greeks by that word lol!_ In the Bronze Age, they were part of the Arzawa coalition and were under Hittite rule. And lol...that they worshipped the same gods means nothing. In ancient times, they believed they all worshipped the same gods under different names. In the Iliad, the gods even go to a sacrifice in Ethiopia! The Iliad was told and later written by a Greek so of course the gods would be Greek. And don't confuse Bronze Age Greece with Classical Greece.
