- The Untold Truth Of Suzanne Pleshette: Marriage and Tragedy.
Suzanne Pleshette’s nationality was American. She was born in Brooklyn, New York, in the United States. Her parents were Jewish immigrants from Russia and Austro-Hungary. She was posthumously awarded a star on January 31, 2008, 12 days after her death. It's located at 6751 Hollywood Blvd. It's in front of Frederick's of Hollywood, per her request. - Навчання та стиль
She was one great female that looked best and totally gorgeous with her hair up and light, whispy bangs falling over her forehead. No other actress could pull this off better than her. She was simply beautiful!
And she just looked sexier and sexier as the years went by.
I feel the same way too.
Can't get enough of her
with that hairstyle. And
boy, did I have a huge crush on her! It started
at 10 years old and never quit. Always wondered what it would've been like to be kissed by her or held in
her arms. Well, I'll be 69 this month and I'll
still keep wondering.
Still dream of that to this very day.
She was a natural beauty and a very talented actress.
One of Hollywood's beauties !
Such a lovely and classy lady. It's a shame that so many people of her generation died from smoking that's how I lost my Dad.
Totally agree that's how I lost my mom
Such a beautiful woman. Looks like she coulda been Liz Taylor’s twin sister.
Suzanne was beautiful and a wonderful actress.
La mujer mas linda del Mundo....❤️
I agree about her stiking resemblance to Liz Taylor, especially in her early films, i.e., Rome Adventure.
She was very beautiful. She was a reasonably okay actress. She wasn't great, but she was entirely competent.
I remember this beautiful woman. My elder sister told me in 1966 that her name is “蘇珊妮普雪特“ in Chinese. It took me decades to find out her name is Suzanne Pleshette in English! I remember her appearance in a tv show named “The Invaders”.
Suzanne was a great talent & beauty...
Suzanne Pleshette was opinionated, blunt, strong-willed with that traffic-stopping throaty voice. She had striking good looks and obvious intelligence . The actress brought a muscular dimensions to all her roles that, without her presence, might have had little substance. Blessed with a voice that could melt steel, talent too forceful to ignore, she brought a retro-glamour to the screen, reminiscent of a bygone era. From the list of the 60's stars, Suzanne was the most prolific in terms of her body of work. Besides appearing on the stage, acting up a storm on TV and TV movies, she will always be loved and remembered for her performances in The Geisha Boy, Lovers Must Learn, The Birds, If its Tuesday, this must be Belgium, The Queen of Mean, The Power, The Wall of Noise, A rage to live, Mr. Buddwing, 40 pounds of trouble and A Distant Trumpet and scores of others. She wasn't just a Star but a magnificent actress as well.
Very well said! In 1964, I had just gotten out of Army Basic & took a date to see "A Distant Trumpet"!
I thought that I was seeing the beginning of new & major movie stars, i.e. Troy Donahue & Suzanne
Pleshette! Unfortunately, Troy's career 'fizzled out', but Suzanne's continued to be a successful one,
but should have been even bigger! R.I.P. Suzanne!
The Lovers must learn's title was changed to Rome Adventure. Such a beautiful, stunning lady, only Troy and Suzanne could made that romantic movie.
A footnote: Lovers Must Learn is the alternate title of the film Rome Adventure. And yes, Suzanne had that wonderful appeal to the audience on camera. May she rest in peace and beauty.
Also - she played Bob Newhart's wife Emily on the Bob Newhart show which aired on CBS 1972-1978.
Simply stunning, RIP :)
She was wonderful in Hitchcock's The Birds as the heroic schoolteacher.
Rome Adventure a fav - watching this Saturday night - Turner Classics! A true great show of Rome and her and Troy's early romance.
She looks Italian...not Jewish...always thought she was Italian....all along...😊
Actually you can see her Hungarian descent
I still revel in the gorgeous dark and lovely looks of Suzanne Pleshette. She epitomized the Sixties look of bouffants and looking like a beauty queen. Couldn't take my eyes off of her when seeing her on TV or in movies. There will never be another one like her in my mind. Thanks for presenting the video retrospective.
Beautiful, one of the goddesses of cinema.
She never aged ,and a Holly wood beauty .
Her voice thou…. Serious talent
What a gorgeous woman!!! She was married to the Hulk !!! Suzanne acts well and will be remembered. RIP !!!❤
This video is a very good example for why narration should always be handled by a real, human voice - instead of a computer-based voice.
Beautiful woman great personality. RIP Good Lady.
🌹🌹 I also liked Her Voice .
She was a really beautiful women. I like her movies, great actress she was. 🙂
Yes, the resemblance with Liz Taylor is definitely there. But she had her own CHARM, style and expertise. I only wish she had a longer life. I keep watching Your movies. 🌹
Underrated.
Beautiful looking lady...and has a nice calm...deep voice....
The story goes that when William Dozier who produced the Batman TV show in 1966 was looking to cast Catwoman he chose Suzanne Pleshette but for whatever reason she wouldn't agree to do the part (likely salary) and Julie Newmar was cast instead
Suzanne always had that sultry voice with that sexy laugh. I met Troy Donahue on a plane back in the early 90s. I knew she had been married to Troy, but didn't dare ask him about her. I was a fan of both of them. I'll bet she had a lot of laughs with Tom Poston. Suzanne was such a beauty. She is greatly missed.
I always loved Suzanne Pleshette. She was beautiful and funny and a good dramatic actress too. She was great as a guest on Johnny Carson's show. So funny and entertaining.
Loved her performances. Such a beauty. Susanne had a son with Troy Donahue in 1974. His name is Sean
Had such a fan crush on her when I was a kid. She was stunning!
She was a fabulous actress and such a beauty……Donna in Toronto
I thought she was best known for "Rage of Life" in 1965 and the Bob Newhardt Show.
Gorgeous ❤️🙏🏽❤️!!
I first her heard about her when watching the lion king 2: Simba's pride as Zira (the main antagonist). Zira is cool and sassy too lol.
Suzanne Pleshette was a wonderful actress.
She will never be forgotten.
she was beautiful and beautiful eyes
So pretty
-Most of the old actors and actresses smoked heavily.
-18 % of smokers develop lung cancer by age 70 years
Era linda, charmosa. Uma baixinha deslumbrante e muito boa atriz. Divorciou do ator loiro do filme da música Al Dilá em poucos meses de casados. Pareciam tão apaixonados. Que pena, faleceu em 2008.
Wow Poston was on Newhart.
Era muito bonita
The epitome of beauty.
What a beautiful woman!!!!
Hardly untold truth.

Elle a joué dans les oiseaux de Hitchcock environ en 1960 avez-Rod Taylor . Belle et bonne actrrice . Quand est elle décédée .
Sorry but there were several picture bloopers.
Nothing new here except for Suzanne's fac being pasted onto the Mary Tyler Moore's head.
She was Jewish ✡️❤️ ‘
Pretty woman
Wow angelical beauty !
Where's the untold truth? What Bull.....
Very beautiful and sexy and intelligent.
Rapaz ....taí uma mulher linda pra competir com Ava gardner! Ambas mui belíssimas! 👏
I'm puzzled by the comments about her great acting ability. I think she was very beautiful, and a competent actress, but she was never gonna be one of the greats. She just wasn't that good. No disrespect intended, but I refuse to diminish truly great acting by calling her great.
Do you any help Suzanne jimi
terrible AI voice narration, unwatchable despite interesting subject
A smoker
My husband wasn't smoker and died from cancer at age 71,my father was a smoker and died at age 80.
I had many relatives that smoked and they lived to be in their 90’s and only one had lung cancer . The rest died of something else and some just natural causes. Now if you smoke and you die from anything they say it’s from smoking .
"His" mohter?
I’d prefer a real person narrating, not a robot.
Remarkably bad storytelling
She hurt all women for men
