I got into beading about 5 years ago but really was going on the fly. I couldn't find any videos like yours, that went slow enough and were magnified enough to really learn. I just want to thank you for all you do, you are a very very good teacher and your videos are supreme!! May the lord continue to bless you to help others! IN my prayers and thoughts, so nice meeting you:)
We have no complaints!! My 14 year old daughter and I have just made our bracelets following the above video. We've subscribed to you as we found this one so easy to follow and such a spectacular result - thank you a million times over for sharing your skills and we look forward to the next video!
I clicked on your tutorial as part of some research for a book and was pleasantly surprised by how pretty your bracelets (and rings) are and how easy to follow your tutorial is. I now want to make jewellery instead of write!
Just made that bracelet. It takes a while because i wasn't focusing on that, but on my kids, my house, answering the phone, etc, any houw, finally i made!!!, thank u so much!!!!. Gotta make the ring now!!!
Hi Alecia! I love your tutorials! I've been making jewelry for many years, all types! Your instruction is so clear and patient. Having Fibromyalgia my mind gets boggled easily, your style of teaching gets thru the thick fog! Thank you so much xo Kathy
I started this bracelet a little after 12am & finished at 6am with a few short breaks in between. I had to redo the filling in the gaps part (9:40) 2 times because the beads would bulge out in different areas. The end result was amazing and that is all that matters. Thank you for sharing your patterns..i don't know how you do it but you have such a talent. I'm glad i found your channel & subbed!
Thank you for this in-depth tutorial much appreciated....I will make this bracelet to match the ring ..thank you so much for sharing your skills with us ...stay blessed
I just finished my very first bead project! Yay! Thank you for this tutorial, it is the one I used to make my bracelet. :) Well, first bead project since we wore "love beads" back in the day. LOL Thanks again for great instructions!
I love the Hugs and Kisses pattern, and I am always on the lookout for a variation. I really like this look, and I'm so glad you put a tutorial because it is made differently than I am used to. I normally use one needle and do the RAW. =) I am missing one of the sizes I need, but can't wait to make it as soon as I get those beads. I love your color choices!
I stumbled upon your tutorial and watched. I'm not a jewelry maker but this makes me want to run out and get everything I'd need! Absolutely gorgeous! A great video -detailed and easy to follow. Thanks for sharing your talent! P.S. -I live in Vero :)
Thank you! You can use any size clasp you like I actually don't know a lot about jump rings and chain mail sizes I know the gauges, but I don't know if they measure them in millimetersor what. I don't teach classes I have never had a beading class either mostly self taught.
I really like your tutorial. You explain the steps extremely well. My only suggestion would be to back to camera so you show more of what you are doing and not have to worry about what is not being picked up with such a tight angle. Can't wait to do up this bracelet
This video is what started me off the hugs and kisses bracelets. Thank you so much for your attention to detail as it made it so much easier for me to followl
I think you can substitute these beads to sizes that are larger. Go up one size for every bead. 7mm to 8mm round beads blue 5mm to 6mm round beads green 3mm to 4mm round beads black 3mm to 4mm round beads purple 11 aught seed beads should work, you might have to use more
Thank you so much for your great tutorial.. This was my first try in making own bracelet, though I skipped a few parts, yet it turned out satisfied. Your video is quite helpful. My mom loves the bracelet, and admires it. Big credit to you :)
I know this is a really old video, but I just wanted to say thanks for sharing all these tutorials! Your bracelets are all so pretty, I just love them!
Don't worry it has happened to me too, but I had at least two knots already tied. I took the other string and passed it through the broken side and tied more knots. The bracelet turned out pretty good.
Those are the most commonly found bead sizes, but there are 3mm, 5mm and 7mm if you do a Google search you will find them. For example search for 5mm round beads and you will see them. If you don't have 3mm, 5mm and 7mm beads you can substitute them just go up 1mm in each bead.
Thank you!!! I bought the flower ring from QVC it is the STEEL BY DESIGN brand. There is a matching rose pendent that I also have. They are both stainless steel which is awesome because they don't tarnish and it is a harder metal than gold. I am not 100% sure but I think the ring was $20.00 and pendent was $15.00. I absolutely love stainless steal jewelry.
You can use those sizes it won't make a big difference they are just 1mm off which is so small it doesn't make a big change. You really need to watch my new video called: "Hugs and Kisses Beaded Earrings Tutorial" In this tutorial I talk about how you can use different bead sizes in the Hugs and Kisses Beaded series. Your seed beads will work just fine. Here are bead substitutes. All the others beads will remain the same. 3mm for 4mm 5mm for 6mm 7mm for 8mm P.S. I live in Fort Pierce, FL
Eleven aught is the size. Beaders usually don't count the 11's because they're so small it is a pain in the butt they mostly measure them out in grams. I don't have away to measure them. The amount of 11 aught seed beads will very depending on how long you bracelet is 8in. or 7in. some people have even smaller wrists than that.
You do beautiful work. I'm inspired to try. Thank you so much. Your instructions are so clear and concise. It's like you know there are backward-beginners like me who need hand holding.
Hi, love your videos, Alisha. I just have a few points of feedback: Please reduce the zoom to increase viewing space, or use the zoom only when you need to. Your work goes out of focus so often that it's hard to see what you're doing. Otherwise, your designs are great and you are extremely patient, so thank you for that!
@SIMPLYBOWSbyNORA Thank you! I would love to make more tutorials than I have been but it is a lot of work. I wish it didn't take videos so long to upload. I just uploaded a new video and it took 11 HOURS and two failed loads before that I am so annoyed.
I bought my camera from best buy it has HD 1080p an 42x zoom. It is a Sony Handycam HDR-CX130. It takes better pictures than my Nikon Cool Pix camera. I love my video camera.
Alesha, Thanks for the great tutorials! Can you please share where you purchase your beads most often? I have a hard time finding the same type and size beads that you use. I seem to have everything but what I need.
hi Alisha you are wonderful teacher and make it easy to understand.I have made many of your projects and they turned out really beautiful.thankyou so much god bless you ,waiting for more tutorials.
Sorry, I usually don't tell where I buy my beads in my tutorials. Because so far I have only used beads from my bead stash. I haven't bought any new beads for my tutorials yet. The beads from my stash are older and they probably no longer sell them in these same exact colors and shapes. I do buy beads from Micheals and joanns craft stores. You can buy similar beads at these stores and other places.
Hi, I already have two tutorials on bracelets using these ring band design. One of the videos is called, "Lattice Beaded Bracelet Tutorial" the other video is called, "Banded Square Beaded Bracelet Tutorial".
Thank you so much Alisha! Sorry if I misspelled your name. I'm so trill to share with you, my first bracelet! thanks to you and your awesome tutorial. I am so happy! Please keep doing this! You are a blessings for us! 😊👍🌷
I am having a really hard time with this bracelet. You make it look so easy. I was wondering where you got your beads. My 3 mm beads do not have a big enough hole to put the fishing line through.
Hi there! I love all of your tutorials, thank you so much for sharing :o) You are a wonderful teacher! I was wondering if you have a necklace for the Hugs & Kisses set?
I am not 100% positive about this but I think for a 6 inch bracelet you will need. 8 ft. of 10lb. test fishing 9-7mm round beads blue 10-5mm round beads green 36-3mm round beads black 18-3mm round beads purple 11 aught seedbeads in 3 colors lobster claw clasp or toggle 2 jump rings

I started this bracelet a little after 12am & finished at 6am with a few short breaks in between. I don't know why, but every time I watch this one, I chuckle at the "very sparkly" part. :) I'm going to attempt making this one of these days.
Are you sure your using the right size beads? It sounds like they might be slightly bigger causing it to go out of wack.
I really like your tutorial. You explain the steps extremely well. My only suggestion would be to back to camera so you show more of what you are doing and not have to worry about what is not being picked up with such a tight angle. Can't wait to do up this bracelet

Just subscribed. Loved your bracelet. sooooo easy to do ... like 1,2,3. I loved it. Thank U
Hi, 11/0 is the same as 11 aught. They might seam smaller cause my camera is zoomed in so close.
Love the bracelet ... didnt have all the correct sizes, but MADE IT ...and it is gorgeous! Thanks!
I think you can substitute these beads to sizes that are larger. Go up one size for every bead.
7mm to 8mm round beads blue
5mm to 6mm round beads green
3mm to 4mm round beads black
3mm to 4mm round beads purple
11 aught seed beads should work, you might have to use more
Thank you for all of your patterns!! I've tried a couple so far and they've all turned out great.
I am just beginning to play with jewelry making and love the idea of weaving with beads.. Gorgeous work!
Hi Alisha, thank u so much, because of your tutorial im learning even i dont go for a class n pay.. a big big thanks to you and God bless you

I don't remember where I got those 3mm rounds. It might of been Micheal's or Joann's Crafts. Try using 6/0 seed beads instead.
Very well done... I am excited to try this. Going to check out other tutorials you have.
Thankyou for an idea. I used this bracelet and modified it slightly to create a watch band. It looks awesome!!!
@SIMPLYBOWSbyNORA Thank you! I would love to make more tutorials than I have been but it is a lot of work. I wish it didn't take videos so long to upload. I just uploaded a new video and it took 11 HOURS and two failed loads before that I am so annoyed.
