Over the years, following Aleshia's directions, I have made a few Daisy Chains, Arrow Bracelets, and Diamond Patterns, in 6/0 seed beads and then remade them all in 4mm beads, and I really like the way they came out. Years later, they are still intact, too.

If you freeze the video and look at the daisy chains going up and down there are 2 beads, 3 bead, 2 beads, 3beads repeatedly. In each row of the three beads the center bead will be the white seed bead.

the daisy chain with just the single strand of seed beads was the first thing i learned with beading. It's so cool to see other ways to use it :)

im also glad you went through the whole thing slowly, rather than just doing one or two and saying rinse and repeat. i just made one along with you and paused it when i needed to. i made mine pink and white flowers tho :)

you know what i love about your videos?? you talk a lot, giving thorough explanations about the beads, the materials and the techniques and that is so helpful for a good final result, for a delicate finishing. Thank you very much for this beautiful work with the beads and with the videos, so gooooooooooooddddddd :)

Your very welcome! I am happy you like them. The average wrist size is 7 1/2 to 8 inches so a small child might be 5 or 6 inches I am not totally sure on this though. You can add a small extender chain to the bracelet to be safe.

I use size 10 beading needles. Only fireline can be threaded on needles because it is so thin. Monofilament is so stiff there is no need to use needles. Your very welcome Thanks for watching my tutorials.

You do an absolutely excellent job of giving us just a bit of information, just the right amount that we can absorb and that we need at the right time. Then as we have allowed that to sink in then you continue giving us more hints and tips and directions. You are perfect.

Thank you so much for this! I followed along and appreciate how you made a long video. I prefer this so much over the plain daisy chains with nothing in between-sometimes they can look like flowers just dangling on a string and they’re not a strong durable chain. I made a bracelet for my friend with your help!

Very nicely done and the tutorial is the best I've seen. My daughter of nine wanted to learn the daisy chain and she mastered it in no time flat they your video. It shows how taking your time and teaching others like they r children is a plus in this case as a LOT of your viewers r probably just beginning "beaders". My Emmy did this with the stretchy kind as she is allergic to most metals and if you don't overwear them like in the shower etc… I think they will last a while. Mainly making sure u keep the string lubricated with some oil or my daughter uses Garnier sleek and shine serum. Hope that helps others to keep old favorites new again. Thx again for the video and God bless. 😊

I know how to bead fringe earrings, and friendship bracelet macrame. I've never made a seed bead daisy chain before. I attempted a more complex bracelet yesterday. I'm glad I found this cuz I think this will be a better springboard to start with. Now to dismantle yesterday's failed attempt and try again.

I buy my fishing line monofilament at Walmart but you can buy it at any place that sells fishing supplies. These are the monofilaments I use along with there diameters 6lb. dia. .010 and 8lb. dia. .011 and 10lb. dia. .012 As you can see they are very close in sizes. My favorites are 8lb. and 10lb. because they are very strong and stiff enough that the ends can be used as needles. I color the ends of my strings with permanent markers.

Your tutorials are excellent. I feel you go at a very reasonable speed; showing the thread paths and directions at a pace that is easy to follow. As I learn, I often pause the video, go back a bit, and watch the steps again and again. Then I try to do a section from memory. If you went any slower I think the tutorial would be more frustrating. Thanks for all you do!

Your attention to detail is the only thing that got me through this. It doesn't look hard or so I thought. Maybe I am just too old, blind or whatever to get it but I followed you to the tee and got it. I was working with cheap beads that were all different sizes coming out of the bag....don't know why the bead company made such shoddy bead quality but nevertheless I did it. I may have to refer to you again to remember how but it sure was fun. Thanks again.

I have found that only thread like fishing line works best, monofilment deforms the stitch. If you don't have thread fishing line you can use Dandy line or Wildfire beading thread. I buy my Fireline at walmart for 16.00 in the sporting goods it is the cheapest place to buy it, plus you get a lot more for your money than if you were to buy Beadsmith Fireline.

i also dont use wire protectors...besides the fact it costs more... you will be just as well off making several passes through the beads at the end near the clasp several times, cause with fireline it is thermally bonded and VERY STRONG :) hope that helps.

I love this pattern. I found a sample of this in an antique store, loved it and tried to find a tutorial. Your tutorial is exactly like the one I found. Thank you.
I can see which beads you go through clearly in the video. It is confusing when you say the color of the bead, instead of the name of the bead; leaf, center, petal bead, as I am using different color beads.
I'm slow to pick up new patterns so I wrote it down so I can remember each step.
    Thank you for this tutorial.

I just made my first ever woven bracelet using this tutorial, and the only complaint i even remotely have about it is I wish I had used different colors, but I had to make do with a limited selection. As for the video itself, I was very pleased with it. The pace is perfect, your voice is clear, and so are the instructions. The only suggestion I offer is it would have been nice to see a worded list of the materials needed. Other than that this is an amazing video.

I am a little confused about your question. I used fireline with a needle for the daisy chain because it needs to flexible. Monofilament doesn't work for stitches like this because it is too stiff. Let me know what you mean I want to answer your question right.
