Mia's car isn't new and here in the U.S. we probably get paid more in general. On average a public school teacher makes anywhere from $22,500 to $65,000 a year depending on how long you have been teaching and what age you are teaching. Also, Mia has a job in advertising which pays quite well. I have an older brother who is in advertising and it pays very well. Here we also have car insurance and you don't have to sue everyone under the sun to get paid. You report it to the car insurance company and the health insurance company go together and pay the bills and depending on the age of the car and how much you have paid out in insurance so far for the year you get a dividend and they car insurance will give you a certain amount for a new or used car.

Does someone know how much money you get as someone in a wheelchair in the US? In Germany, you have to sue everyone to get at least what you need, but these girls... They have open-roof cars, expensive looking wheelchairs and they work but not in very super well paid jobs... Where do they get all the money?

You don't get any money other than social security, which is based on how much you made and paid in. It caps out at $2000 per month. Most of us live in poverty

Who do you sue? The government? Whoever injured you?

The ones who brought you in the wheelchair, the government, health insurance... And if you don't sue, you have a lot of arguing to do for everything: Getting lower entry tickets, being allowed to sit in your wheelchair in cinema (often forbidden due to savety hazards), getting abled people off your parking spaces...
