If possible please talk about proper ventilation and lighting techniques in planning stage.
I have 22.ft width, do I need to leave a gap of 1.5 ft in both sides or close one side & provide a gap of 3 or 4 feet on the other side ? Which one will be effective for proper lighting? (Note: My site is located in the backyard, 100 feet distance from the street and we have houses adjacent to both sides of the plot.)

yes shall be.. but as per vasthu they tell it should not be .. but In some places it can't be followed .. so we have done in anti clock wise ...

Issue wise nothing until it has tread 10" and riser 6" .. when tread size is reduced and riser value is more we get difficulty in usage.. we follow odd nos in staircount just for vasthu..

20.83 is almost 21 .. we will have a shortage of .15 inch .. that will make adjustment with 21 steps
