RE5 is my favorite video game of all time and a masterpiece. Better than RE4 to me. RE4 was a bit too slapstick for my tastes. I like the more epic and serious tone of RE5. Plus daddy Wesker.

Everytime I listen to this theme, I kinda feel mixed emotions from Chris's perspective. Like how so astonished when he found out that Jill was alive. And how heartbroken he felt as he had to fight his former partner, who was aware of her actions but couldn't stop them.
In a way, if you think about it, this song actually embodies the emotions that he goes through in the whole battle. It'd be in four parts, two of them what you mentioned: 0:01-0:13: His astonishment at finding her alive. 0:14-0:43: His disbelief at finding her under Wesker's control. (Or something along those lines.) 0:44-1:08: His heartbreak of having to fight her. 1:09-1:33: His resolve to bring her back.

Some people really dislike Re5 for his focus on the action. And when I play games like Re2 or Re remake, I see that is true. But for all the game made me feel, all those things of looking up for your partner and the sadness when you finally find her and you have to fight with her... all the "Jill! It´s me! Chris!" the emotion of the song with your tries to help Jill... I love Re5, was the first RE that I completed.

It's not a bad game in general, just a bad Resident Evil game... it doesn't fit in the tone of the series, -same with RE7 but at least it's an horror game- for me it feels more like trying to follow the movies: the action rhythm, the hollywood movie tone of dialogue, etc. but it's great, the soundtrack it's great and it's a nice game...
I miss Resident Evil 5, it was awesome despite the fact it was not scary at all. I only wish Barry Burton were Chris's partner in this game, not Sheva. The game would've been even more dramatic, cuz THAT would have been a BIG FAMILY REUNION for real.
This was one of my first resident evil games, and I love this fight. Jill is the person I wish I was in terms of beauty and everything. Fighting her was heartbreaking, but I did it just to make sure she survived. I loved the music of this fight, though, being my favorite fight out of re5, and if we get a remake of this game, I will cry ngl.

In that context you should write "in my opinion" before claiming something as "easily the best." Not often a big deal, but i had to check you on that one for disrespecting the classic RE1 remake lol. RE1 remake is easily the best Resident Evil game imo.
Funnily enough, I was playing RE4 remake and cutting it REAL close to missing my S+ rank and I ended up playing this as I rushed my ass off to finish the game. Added to the tension and even made the last battle and escape all the more dramatic.
I am unsure when I will begin the series. I am now a traveling photographer. Next year I will be traveling to California to take pictures of filming locations for the RE films. So glad that Chris and Jill were in them.

People armed with weapons began to fight to kill each other. Despite the chaos, some of the people fought for survival not for themselves but for the people they loved. One of the survivors was a thirty year old African-American male named Dwayne Michaels. Without thinking Dwayne ran for his life from the attackers who roared and screamed for human flesh. He found himself being stopped by a patrol police car. Luckily for Dwayne, the male African-American police officer who drove the car took him in his vehicle to drive him to safety. "Sir I like to ask you. Do you have any idea what's going on?" said the officer. "No I don't. All I was doing was walking back to the train station after working at the soup kitchen. @@Percival917 If you're fighting a friend. The term "old partner" you used is taken from Resident Evil's "partner" option. This music is great for sorrow and a sad boss battle.
For speed purposes, I always preferred to use a friend to blind her and restrain her, while I focused on the device and shot. Sometimes if I shot right away, even if I'd perfectly lined it up, it would hit her in a place not on the device. I tended to focus and get a good bead for about a second before I fired. After about 4 or 5 good shots, the device was ready to be removed.
That one person in real life you wanted to save but you has to confront her demons then i get a game over cause I ran out of the ammo of hope and the orabrous virus consumes making her do shit to break my heart as my whole world seems to be burning down then I look deep into my gut knowing i gotta get out of this mind state I rush through the boat trying to scoop the heads of the monsters ahead of me I see jill lowering the ladder to the chopper for my escape then my ex who is now controlled by urobrous tries to bring the chopper to its destruction jill gives the main character the rocket launcher one rocket only destroy half of the terrifying monster then the main character has a flash back of the ex of good times and bad and once he awakens he said good bye dionne and shoots the final rocket that destroys the suckalint beast completely the main. Character looks down at the impact as the heli gets out of dodge
I still really wish it was Jill that dealt the final blow to Wesker with Chris. I mean he put her through hell and nearly killed her both in the mansion in the Arklay Mountains and in RE5. I wish the two of them blew him up together to deliver the perfect sense of closure on Wesker's story. But I digress.
The first time i thought that the game would troll you and let jill die anyway i almost cried in this battle so deep theme, you can feel the desperation and agony of chris.

If only they could have fit the DLC of Chris and Jill in the mansion with the main game, which fleshed out the last time Chris saw Jill and was a worthy few hours of content by itself. I have to check, but it could have been because of time constraints or an oversight, but man. If it was in the main campaign, and then you see Jill again, all in one game? Special.
Even the people that hated on the game's action focus instead of terror were jumping in their seats while Chris punched that fucking boulder, dont lie.

The music is good but the music doesn't sound like a re song and sounds like something that would be in one of those anime like rpgs
I still really wish it was Jill that dealt the final blow to Wesker with Chris. I mean he put her through hell and nearly killed her both in the mansion in the Arklay Mountains and in RE5. I wish the two of them blew him up together to deliver the perfect sense of closure on Wesker's story. But I digress.
The first time i thought that the game would troll you and let jill die anyway i almost cried in this battle so deep theme, you can feel the desperation and agony of chris.

If only they could have fit the DLC of Chris and Jill in the mansion with the main game, which fleshed out the last time Chris saw Jill and was a worthy few hours of content by itself. I have to check, but it could have been because of time constraints or an oversight, but man. If it was in the main campaign, and then you see Jill again, all in one game? Special.
Even the people that hated on the game's action focus instead of terror were jumping in their seats while Chris punched that fucking boulder, dont lie.
I reaaaally hated her when you fight her in pro mode. IT WAS SO FUCKING HARD! Especially when she keeps Killing Sheva! Sssssmmmfhhhh!! Its so easy to fight Albert in pro mode but jill???? It's so hard man.
