I'm so impressed with your baby laying there so still and let you treat her with very little resistance. Her cries were so sad but that look of love sealed it all !! ❤
Three months ago my cat claw was ripped out and As I was freaking out across the internet for a solution ( my local vet was useless) I saw this video and it was a life saver for me honestly. She was also very nice and approachable in her IG messages as I asked her again and again about the injury and the healing process even in the following months as I popped up randomly with questions lol me and my cat are very thankful ❤❤❤
Hi, sorry to hear that. i hope ur poor kitty is okay 🤍. And yes it does grow back but it takes a long time (close to 1 year for my cat) and it might be different from the other claws, also watch out for inflammation cuz that’s what delayed recovery in my case.
I recommend that you Wash hands with soap water and dry thoroughly before you pick up cat. Then Use Colloidal Silver, much easier to apply it from a little 100ml spray bottle, than pouring hibitine in it to clean wound. Collodial silver is ten times better and purely natural. No need for expensive vet prescriptions. It’s available on eBay Amazon etc. Leave to dry. All cat to rest in clean condition and cleaned bad area. You can add collodial silver teaspoon to lick ee LIx yogurt to get antibiotic into cats blood stream. Colloidal Wilber is both a topical antibiotic and internal when added to a tiny water bowl, lick ee lix or a little wet food. Don’t let it stand around in the air for hours and hours so don’t add it to a large water bowl if your cat only sips a little water now and then. Better to use lick ee lix and get it all into the cat in one fell swoop. Trust me It works! I’m a cat mum of 10 years and wouldn’t be without CS. Hope this helps. 🐈
POOR KITTY! I'm here because my cat did the same thing. I called my vet and she said to squeeze the contents of a chlorhexidine pad over the wound. My other cat has feline acne and she prescribed the pads for her. You're a great cat parent!
Blue cat is good little furball pettings or brushing is well deserved for the stressfull situation calm, no doubt very soothing tone voice of this human of hers.
But yeah infections are no joke tho as its involving the bone under the claw, so pls do see the vet and see what meds are also needed in the healing process
All is good! He lost his dew claw & no treatment needed. Looked good at the vet... poor little guy with no dew claw. Thankfully he wasn't injured worse & of course NO Infection! Yay🎉
This is just me, but i dont know of i will be calm if my cat starts growling and meowing in pain. I feel for my cats pain and i would feel sad and probably mirror their emotions because i feel for them. My cat recently got her nail broken from a freak acedent. Our dog was upstairs and seems to like chacing our cats if they are in the dogs side of the house. Its their territory. My cat and i didnt realise that the dog was upstairs and so when she came through the open gate that separates the 2 halves of the house, the dog daw her, chased her and scared the crap out of her. The went flying and ran against a wall and hit the porcelain dog bowl. I didnt see her claw break off, didnt even reakised she was hurt untill i was playing with her a while later. Thiught that her nail was missing as her usual white toes has a black void. Got scared and saw that he claw was bleeding from the inside. I put septic powder on it and sprayed some disinfectant and the bleeding stopped. This happend a week ago and she didnt seem to show any pain at all unless we touch it directly. Her nail still looks broken and we sont know if we should take her to the vet when we could fix it ourselves or not. Hearing her sad painful meows when we poke it makes us realy sad.
From my experience it's not about fixing it myself from the get go as w nail injuries usually it's the infection that's dangerous as the base of the nail bed is attached to the bone (we don't want infection there). So vet usually prescribe antibiotics to go w this regime as part of the follow up home care~

It's trust, she has faith in mommy I believe~

Blue Cat might have complained but she was quite the well mannered lady!
She's complaining in the most classy way ever

Poor Blue Cat.
Expertly done, Melocat.
Tysm 4this. Just saw our cats dew claw is injured & need to take him to vet. This helped comfort me some.

@MeloCat Yes, we go 2vet 2moro. Infections in general are no joke, esp in such tiny bodies. Thanks 4ur reply.

I misread the title as "My Cat's Paw Fell Off" Take care!
What did you use to wash her paw? My cat ripped his nail and it just doesn’t heal :( I’m scared it will become infected
Please go see a doctor as they will prescribe this stuff to you, don't try to DIY it as they need to assess the situation first

Okay I’m super late but my cat still has his nail it’s like spit and was bleeding last night doesn’t appear to be anymore what should I do
Video chat w a vet at the very least, keep area clean meanwhile. Infections near nail and bone is no joke. Please see a vet asap
@@MeloCat that’s my concern he won’t let me touch it and I don’t want to hurt him
