Hi cuboman, I’m all new to all of this. I’ve currently taking the compTIA A+ my understanding is that the only job available to me after completing my course is Helpdesk jobs which are very low salary job. Is this the only way into IT? Also I’m funding it really hard, I’m not into computers and technology. Is it really worth pursuing IT as a career? Hello, there are other Entry level IT jobs that you can apply for. It really depends where you live. You can search for Entry Level IT jobs. When it comes to IT as career and how much time is required to be good... well, that completely depends on you. Any career is worth pursuing if you have the will and motivation. Obviously for me the answer is yes.

printers be the worst. how have we as a civilisation not managed to create better printer technology :D. I find that in most cases, talking to it gently and backing away slowly so you dont startle it, is the best way to fix it :D .
most of the time the only way to get a printer working with our software was in the specific order, turn printer off, restart computer, once computer has booted into windows, turn on printer. lol
Yep, sometimes you would fix the it and then a bad print job would just make it fall on it's face. Then you are back to square one. :)
What is the career growth in technical support representative?
Senior, Lead, Manager. Or you can go to other IT areas, like Desktop Support, System Admin, Network Admin and etc. It does require further training if going for different types of positions.
