Thanks so much. I really want to get a large green egg and appreciate your tutorials. The cost may be prohibitive for me being a disabled Vietnam vet on a fixed income but I will guarantee you that I will have one. :)
I enjoy your videos Papa J. I am considering buying a mini max for my very small deck (7x9). Watching your videos give me some idea of which one will work for us being it’s the first time we have owned a BGE. Thank you for taking the time to precisely and clearly explain everything.
Hey Papa J, yeah your list is much different than mine for sure. My number one item on the BGE is the Eggenius. Bar none. It has two temperature probes that come with it and hooks up to my wifi and the huge thing is that it helps control my temperature far and away much better without it. As a matter of fact, I was having so many problems controlling my temp that I almost got rid of my BGE but then this solved everything for me! Hope this helps love the channel man!
Love your videos! When my large egg was stolen recently, I was researching whether I should replace it with an XL. One of your comments in your videos about your XL being your favorite put me over the edge and I got an XL. One of the first accessories I ordered was an adjustable rig from ceramic grill store. This totally changed and improved the way I cook. The elevated grid really gives you a better finished product with some cooks.
I totally forgot about my adjustable rig. I have them in all my Eggs, you are correct a must have for good cooks. Thanks for pointing that out. Enjoy the XL...
What a top quality video! I love the pop-ups in the right top corner!!! YOU ARE AMAZING!! I am subscribed but I did not get notification of this new video. ??
Which ashtool do you use? I have a medium egg but I’m unsure if I should buy a M/L ashtool for full price when I could get a XL/XLL ashtool for half the price. Thanks for the video.
The concern is if the XL/XLL tool would be too large for the opening on the medium. I would buy the one that is sized for your unit. Hope this helps...
+1 on the Thermapen. I have a Classic & a Mk4. Love both of them. KickAsh Basket is another must have accessory www.kickashbasket.com/ If you’ve not tried one ask around about it or order one. There’s no going back after using one.
You are correct about the KickAsh Basket. I have 2 (1 for a MiniMax and 1 for a XL) they are great, so easy to shake out the ash, the handle are perfect. An added benefit is the air flow is much better with one of those in the Egg. Thanks for watching my video and enjoy the journey...
Best bge channel on YT. Definitely should be in the hundred of thousands

Great Video! My favorite item I bought was a dedicated carving knife, it was about $26 on Amazon & worth every penny.
That’s great, I love a good knife and what a price. Thank you for commenting and hope you enjoyed this video.
