I remember sneaking a peek at this theme while I was napping in daycare (back in 1989-90). Maybe the teachers didn't realize this, but *I* just so happen to have relatives in the soap opera business.
I love this theme music I've been listening to it since I was a kid as the show opens it was mine and my mom's favorite song and it's still is as of today even though it's not on air anymore but i listen to it as I'm clocking in at work ar Walmart if their music through the speakers is annoying.
My mom thought my soap watching was so silly but when this AW theme music came on I always caught her singing it! LOL RIP Anne Heche you were The Star of Another World from day one!!!
I was in my teens then and i fell in love with the Sam and Amanda story♥️ From the start until Amanda slept with Evan. Then i went over to Santa Barbara and Cruz and Eden 💖 But i still watch the first episodes of Sam and Amanda 😍
Awesome song!!! I remember this from the 1980s. One thing though. Jesus Christ is the only one that will take us to another world when we die. With perfect peace with Jesus for all eternity. It will be unlimited peace and happiness with our Lord and saviour Jesus Christ.
I agree but that isn't the other world the show is talking about. It's about the inner world of our dreams and fantasies and our aspirations for a better life and happiness. "We do not live in this world alone but in a thousand other worlds..."
This opening didn't debut with the new theme song, they used the 1981-87 open with this theme song for the first several months this theme song was used in 1987
Jesus Christ is the only one who can ever take us to another world for all eternity. That is a Bible fact. Its etched in stone. The another world soap opera opening theme song is still great after all these years!!! The soap opera itself was aweful!!! It was never worth watching for even a second.
