I haven't been to many retreats but I have watched very many flosstubes about retreats and If there's one thing they like to talk about it's all the goodies they brought back home. I'm sure everyone that attended is still talking about it. What a fabulous location especially for the out of towner's that had some in between time. Congrats Arlene on a successful retreat. BTW I love Black eyed Susans!
Thank you so much! Black eyed Susans are definitely on the list, whether it be the design I showed on the video or, if I ended up liking it as a daisy, then another design
This sounds like another lovely success for you to meet other cross stitchers and enjoy how great the community is and the many different parts you play in it. Well done 🥰💜
It really was wonderful! I look forward to your evolving plans for your retreat for next year. Let me know if I can help in brainstorming ideas or simply sharing my experiences - I've learned new things each time I've put on a retreat
You already gave me so many more ideas just in this video, talking about the retreat. But thank you for the offer, I might come back to you on that one 🥰
Hi Arlene! Loved reliving the retreat. I had a great time meeting and talking with other stitchers that I wouldn't have met if it wasn't for the retreat so thank you for ak the work you put in to make this a successful retreat! Lori
I was one of the lucky ones who attended your retreat and I loved it! I really liked that it was a stitch and chat retreat as opposed to one with classes. It was nice to meet new people and see what they were stitching on. A few people at my table were "in the biz" and it was interesting to learn about things from the designer and ONS owner side of things. The goodie bag was spectacular! I loved everything in it and will get good use out of it. Thank you again for a lovely weekend of stitching! I look forward to next year's! And I love your stained glass flowers pattern! Maybe a coneflower would work for that daisy design instead so you can still have a black eyed Susan.
Thank you so much! Things were scattered in various directions - books to a used booksale, closed kits and magazines in good condition to goodwill, someone took a lot for a freebie table for a retreat in the future, etc.
You did an excellent job putting together this retreat. I enjoyed my time there.
Thank you so much - glad you had a good time!
Sounds like a wonderful retreat. It is so good to take a break from life and get together with our friends.
Absolutely!

Wish I had been there. Sounds like it was fun.
I loved my "cozy" NJ Retreat experience--it was great to relive it tonight while I stitched!
And it was so, so great to have you there ❤
Thank you so much for talking about the retreat. It sounds like it was awesome!
It was!

Thank you so much, Maureen - I'm glad you had a great time!
I would love to go to your retreat but from England it’s a little far away! It sounds wonderful. 😊💐
Maybe someone will event a time/travel machine before next year to spirit you across the pond in an instant 😂😊
Hey Arlene! 👋🏻
🦋🌻
You did a fantastic job with the retreat. What did you end up doing with all the spare freebies?!? 😂
Thank you so much! Things were scattered in various directions - books to a used booksale, closed kits and magazines in good condition to goodwill, someone took a lot for a freebie table for a retreat in the future, etc.
Arlene - regarding wait list - should folks (who did not attend this year) fill out the survey google form or will there be a different form.
No, you don't need to fill it out - everyone who attended this year in 2022 will automatically get info when I have info
