    Really nice and comprehensive video. I have these cameras already (3), but just got 2 more delivered this morning. These are good inexpensive cameras and being PTZ is a nice little bonus. I do not use them as my primary cameras but needed to monitor a property we have about 50 miles (80+km) away and these work pretty well. The limitations are numerous, but again these price point for what they do have is pretty good. Not having an optical zoom to begin with makes "zooming in" on things of interest blurry at a certain point. The second is their rather short reach at night, so using a supplemental infrared (850nm) light is suggested. and lastly, the Cloudedge software leaves much to be desired. Getting to the history is easy as you have shown, but finding a particular interest in that history can be difficult to search for. Again, no major complaints as this is a very low price point camera. I have a completely different system for my home, 22 very high definition cameras and 2 NVRs that are independent of each other for redundancy and run 24/7. What I noticed that you did not mention is that you can watch these cams on your PC/Mac. This makes viewing much easier when at home for several reasons like bigger screen, and not tying up your phone to view the cameras if you need to make a call. Retrieval of history is somewhat easier as well on the computer vs phone. Here is the link for the software for the PC. cloudedgeapp.com/cloudedge-for-pc/

    I have 5 Dekco's cam at home and after a change my router both of these are not recording and also not sending any notification . I only can acces the cam in real time.. Do you know why ?

      Don't really know, did you try to reset cameras to factory settings and reinstall them

      This is a new setup for my new router but i will try to reinstaling again but not only one but all 5 cam have the same probleme.. Thank you @@mrfxr1695

      Another thing worth a try would be to reinstall application on your phone. So, it becomes as brand new install

    Is it okay any SD card brands should we put on dekco cctv ? My SD card is V90 SanDisk brand.

    To make disk space, can you delete the memory on the memory disk remotely or do you have to manually take the disk out and put in a new one?
    How often do you have to charge the camera?(In other words, when fully charged, approximately how long does it last before the battery goes out)

      Hi, I'm not sure if we are about same camera. The one in the video writes on memory card, once card is full camera automatically rewrites over previous recordings. Also it is mains powered, not battery powered

    Good morning, today I bought my Dekco Dc5l camera but I don't know how to connect to Wi-Fi. Is it necessary to put the micro SD card in it for it to connect?

      I beleive you don't need SD card for installation, but camera will not be able to record anything without it

    New out the box, pressed reset and it beeps but only green light. Tried it so many times. Is this a faulty camera do you think ? I’ve tried everything but it simply doesn’t flash a red light a reset ?

      I'm not quite sure to be honest. Was the box sealed? I believe it would light green when paired already. Did you install phone app and logged in first

      For any one who still have problems. Dekco has 2 versions of cameras. One version connects to cloudedge and new model DC5L connects to dekco app . I downloaded dekco app and cameras with green light got connected easily.

      That is strange, green light. I only know for red and blue on this camera. Is it definitely Dekco DC5L smart camera?

      @@mrfxr1695 Yeah, DC5L If you look at the reviews in this camera, some Dekco cameras no longer support cloudedge.

      I've used cloud edge app. On settings for new camera, I've choose "power plug camera" then " smart camera 2.4g WiFi"

      @@mrfxr1695 Getting my hair off now, It does not work either for my phone or my S6 tab, I am actually annoyed now, I am going to have to get hold of seller, I have tried for months video after video, I have not have had this issue with a nest camera and 2 other cameras I got, It feels like you must spend 200 pounds to get anything that does not disconnect or even connect, I got red light flashing blue light flashing and nothing works, I almost smashed it on the floor just now, Send feedback you got to write an esa and take pics of the light, I haven't ever had to do anything like this with feedback, This Decko camera is meant to be good, I bought it based off reviews on Amazon see, But yeah I am not having any luck with this camera, Never got angry like that with something, And I put a put a Bafang BBS02 Motor on my mountain bike with far less stress, lol, BBS02 is a great E-Bike motor by the way, lol, Yeah I cannot get this camera set up....

    Dos this camera need to have the SD memory card ?? To work. That's just to save the vidoes and then te records over it after ???

      It doesn't have to have memory card to work, but will need it to record videos

    how long in total do you get in length of cable?

      I didn't measure it. I had two cameras and one had longer cable than the other for unknown reason, from memory I would say around 7-8ft. However you can get additional DC camera cable on eBay or Amazon

    Does this camera support FTP? Can it save videos by FTP to an FTP Server?

    The camera has already been mounted and works fine, but the time on the videos is incorrect, in fact it's one hour behind. How can I set the correct time?

      I think it takes date and time of internet. I don't know about manual override for time

    What software version do you use? Mine has a motion sensor, it records but it doesn't follow the movement, it stays static. I have version 5.1.1

      My one is 5.3.7 version, there is option in settings to activate motion tracking. By default it came turned off, I had to activate it after installation

    How do you turn off the white light when it detects someone?

      In the cloud edge app, select the camera, select settings for that camera and scroll down to light settings. There you can choose to turn light off or have it on for certain length of time

      You might need to download decko app and set it up through their app. I've never done it, but one of the users suggested decko app for green light "issue"

    I did everything, but my red light isn't coming on. I just see a tiny, orange light. I have the DEKCO 2K. It's frustrating, thank🤙 you.

      Maybe it is not fully charged yet, or out of the range of WiFi. Try leaving it on charge few hours to make sure it's fully charged. Reset and start pairing procedure from beginning. I hope it helps

      The app I've used is downloaded from Google play
      play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.cloudedge.smarteye
      It is called Cloud Edge. Looking at the details of the app in app store, it states version 5.1.1
      But once installed on the phone and updated is showing version 5.3.7.20221208

      That is the application that I have and the version 5.1.1 but it does not have the movement tracking or if you only really tell me what number is your application that you show in the video because yes the movement tracking appears @@mrfxr1695

      So far, is all good. Last few days I was away from home and it was great to check on at the cameras. It gets triggered by movement and then follows target until our of reach. Then it keeps recording for another few minutes. Really good 👍

      You can try this, reset camera, disconnect it, bring it close to your WiFi together with your mobile phone. Don't turn camera on yet. Reinstall camera app on the phone, select correct camera in add new device. Connect camera and let it pair. Make sure your WiFi can support 2.4mhz and also make sure you select correct camera with 2.4mhz in the app. After full connection/installation, disconnect camera and install it on desired location.

      @@JennyRivera-c6x usually if you look on back of your WiFi router there will be admin log on details. In most cases you'll have to type 192.168.l.2 in your browser on computer or phone, and log in to router. In most cases password is "password" and you'll be on router settings. Don't change anything just look is there anywhere that says 2.4 GHz.
      It is hard to say exactly remotely as this but I hope it will help

      Hi, is the camera or of reach from WiFi? Has it been working properly previously or are you trying to install it? If you're trying to install it done Ibis with on decko app and Adobe others work better with cloud edge app

    Solid red, doesn't blink. Reset doesn't do anything. There's only solid red all the time.

      I'm not sure, I haven't experienced solid red light on that camera. Are you following installation procedure step by step? Is the camera out of WiFi range ( it can only connect to 2.4ghz WiFi)? Have you installed the app on your phone and can it detect camera through your WiFi?

      There are some cameras that work with Cloud Edge and some with with Decko app. I don't really know the reason for that

      Try to reset it, bring the camera closer to WiFi router with mobile phone( no more than 5m from router) and repeat installation process, step by step as on instructions

    I have two of these cameras and they are garbage every time your Internet goes out you have to manually reset both cameras and you can't get picture to your tv soooo lame

      I've had power cut few times and didn't need to reset the cameras. Initial set up on installation and that's it, good ever since
