Really nice and comprehensive video. I have these cameras already (3), but just got 2 more delivered this morning. These are good inexpensive cameras and being PTZ is a nice little bonus. I do not use them as my primary cameras but needed to monitor a property we have about 50 miles (80+km) away and these work pretty well. The limitations are numerous, but again these price point for what they do have is pretty good. Not having an optical zoom to begin with makes "zooming in" on things of interest blurry at a certain point. The second is their rather short reach at night, so using a supplemental infrared (850nm) light is suggested. and lastly, the Cloudedge software leaves much to be desired. Getting to the history is easy as you have shown, but finding a particular interest in that history can be difficult to search for. Again, no major complaints as this is a very low price point camera. I have a completely different system for my home, 22 very high definition cameras and 2 NVRs that are independent of each other for redundancy and run 24/7. What I noticed that you did not mention is that you can watch these cams on your PC/Mac. This makes viewing much easier when at home for several reasons like bigger screen, and not tying up your phone to view the cameras if you need to make a call. To make disk space, can you delete the memory on the memory disk remotely or do you have to manually take the disk out and put in a new one? How often do you have to charge the camera?(In other words, when fully charged, approximately how long does it last before the battery goes out)

For any one who still have problems. Dekco has 2 versions of cameras. One version connects to cloudedge and new model DC5L connects to dekco app . I downloaded dekco app and cameras with green light got connected easily.

I didn't measure it. I had two cameras and one had longer cable than the other for unknown reason, from memory I would say around 7-8ft. However you can get additional DC camera cable on eBay or Amazon
The camera has already been mounted and works fine, but the time on the videos is incorrect, in fact it's one hour behind. How can I set the correct time?
My one is 5.3.7 version, there is option in settings to activate motion tracking. By default it came turned off, I had to activate it after installation
In the cloud edge app, select the camera, select settings for that camera and scroll down to light settings. There you can choose to turn light off or have it on for certain length of time I hope it helps 👍
Hi Barry You might need to download decko app and set it up through their app. I've never done it, but one of the users suggested decko app for green light "issue" All the best
Maybe it is not fully charged yet, or out of the range of WiFi. Try leaving it on charge few hours to make sure it's fully charged. Reset and start pairing procedure from beginning. I hope it helps

Looking at the details of the app in app store, it states version 5.1.1 But once installed on the phone and updated is showing version 5.3.7.20221208 I hope this helps All the best 👍

So far, is all good. Last few days I was away from home and it was great to check on at the cameras. It gets triggered by movement and then follows target until our of reach. Then it keeps recording for another few minutes. Really good 👍
You can try this, reset camera, disconnect it, bring it close to your WiFi together with your mobile phone. Don't turn camera on yet. Reinstall camera app on the phone, select correct camera in add new device. Connect camera and let it pair. Make sure your WiFi can support 2.4mhz and also make sure you select correct camera with 2.4mhz in the app. After full connection/installation, disconnect camera and install it on desired location. @@JennyRivera-c6x usually if you look on back of your WiFi router there will be admin log on details. In most cases you'll have to type 192.168.l.2 in your browser on computer or phone, and log in to router. In most cases password is "password" and you'll be on router settings. Don't change anything just look is there anywhere that says 2.4 GHz. It is hard to say exactly remotely as this but I hope it will help

Hi, is the camera or of reach from WiFi? Has it been working properly previously or are you trying to install it? If you're trying to install it done Ibis with on decko app and Adobe others work better with cloud edge app
I'm not sure, I haven't experienced solid red light on that camera. Are you following installation procedure step by step? Is the camera out of WiFi range ( it can only connect to 2.4ghz WiFi)? Have you installed the app on your phone and can it detect camera through your WiFi?
Try to reset it, bring the camera closer to WiFi router with mobile phone( no more than 5m from router) and repeat installation process, step by step as on instructions
I have two of these cameras and they are garbage every time your Internet goes out you have to manually reset both cameras and you can't get picture to your tv soooo lame

Another thing worth a try would be to reinstall application on your phone. So, it becomes as brand new install

That is strange, green light. I only know for red and blue on this camera. Is it definitely Dekco DC5L smart camera?
@@mrfxr1695 Yeah, DC5L If you look at the reviews in this camera, some Dekco cameras no longer support cloudedge.
How long does it record for when only set to motion record?
Depends how often gets triggered, but in my case, days

Dos this camera need to have the SD memory card ?? To work. That's just to save the vidoes and then te records over it after ???
It doesn't have to have memory card to work, but will need it to record videos

I think it takes date and time of internet. I don't know about manual override for time
What software version do you use? Mine has a motion sensor, it records but it doesn't follow the movement, it stays static. I have version 5.1.1

Solid red, doesn't blink. Reset doesn't do anything. There's only solid red all the time.

There are some cameras that work with Cloud Edge and some with with Decko app. I don't really know the reason for that

I've had power cut few times and didn't need to reset the cameras. Initial set up on installation and that's it, good ever since
