It's gotta be the rs3... it's the heavier version of the TTRs, either that or a b9 s4! Sad to see my personal dream car go but so excited to see what's coming! It's crazy seeing you go from the GTI through all your other builds. Even if it’s the same car , year, model and everything all cars are still different in a way. I daily a stage 4 S6 , currently at 101k miles and it’s been really reliable for me and running constant 10.4s. Full weight , no WMI etc. Sorry to hear that you are selling the S6 but unfortunately there is no perfect car out there, we will always miss out on something.
That’s not true there is a perfect car out there. It is called a Lamborghini huracan evo.

I've had that experience in a few car cultures, to the point where I stopped wanting to be a car guy. I came across your channel as I'm researching what I wanted to do to a S6. Your setup is pretty much exactly what I want and planned on doing. So I appreciate you for making these videos and and confirming I am on the right track. I am planning to sell my 13' S6 I owned it for about a year now. I was just confused about the move that I am going to miss the V8 and immaculate prestige interior. But as you just did, I am now more confident and looking forward to buy something in the B9 family :)

As a gear head mainly in the mustang world 🌎- I agree ☝️ with you - there is many and I say many people who don’t challenge and do there homework about products and mods in the Audi and bmw world - I’ve modded both I rarely found any help and honest judgments - I’ve been a member of
Svt performance forum since 2004 and I stay in the California section and I’ve always had Genuine help-
I tried finding the same in the Audi and bmw world and all I can say is many don’t mod much or give opinions and statements that ain’t true -I still own a b8 s4 but my next step is a c7 s6 I want that v8 growl
Long time follower from b8.5 s4 days learned so much valuable information, I’m on b8.5 s5 still enjoying the car. Can’t wait wat u have planned next. Maybe 2.9TT v6 rs5, maybe my guess. Happy for u bro. I still do miss the drone outro. That is a classic shot in the s4.

Hey mate, can you tell FCP to fix the oil change kit for the gen1 R8 v10. I oder it and non of the drain plug washer fit. I had to reuse the old ones :/

Beautiful s6. Had a friend w a tuned s6 and then bought an r8 and then he missed the luxuries of the s6 so he traded the r8 for an s8 and now he ordered a new rs6 😂. What did u do the aftermarket wheels from the s6?

Wow your selling it bro lol. I was thinking of selling my stage 3 s7 a few months ago and getting an f10 m5 but changed my mind. Was thinking of an x5m too but I get bored of cars really fast. This is on car I’m not really bored of.
Do you really have to get a fuel system for ts1 turbos? Was thinking of doing that next. I’m hearing guys making 800hp on ts1 with a custom ds1 tune.
The problem is the community. Being influenced negatively by the community can easily make you hate your car. Community interaction is the backbone of your page, so it makes sense to sell the S6. Hopefully you achieve greatness with the B9 SQ5! It would give me a reason to modify my wife’s 18’ SQ5 lol.
Lol sold my S6 recently too. Had it for about 2 years. But I gotta make room for the new RS3 coming.
Maybe I am just getting older, but the S6 is the epitome of a Luxury Sports Sedan for me. It is refined, yet sporty sounds freaking badass, and has all the bells and whistles you will ever need. But that's just me. I will be an Audi freak for life, may not be the fastest but to me, they are the best looking... well an AMG E class is nice as well. My setup for my S4 exhaust was about 4k which does include DP, nothing is super cheap but heck... you have nearly 20K in Wheels alone. LOL just saying. Cheers!
Same, Maybe I am older as well but previously having a B6 S4 and a then a 996 C4S, and now a 2018' S6 with the same IE tune think this is the best car I've owned. Currently have 2 BMW's, 2 Volkswagens, 2 Audi's, and a Mercedes.
I’m gonna guess B9 :) You won’t regret it. This platform is only just getting started and finally getting the love it deserves.

Good call getting out early lol. I had a loaded 2017 S6. It was a beautiful car and it was enormously fun to drive when it worked. Awesome car to have when you need space for 3 or 4 but still want to have a little fun with your right foot. I've owned a UR Quattro, a Q5, an S5, the S6 and now an A3 and my S6 was in the shop longer than all of the other cars combined (not just the Audis but all of the other 20 or so cars I've owned over the past 30 years). In less than one year it needed a new motor mount, new dual clutch, new oil pump, new valve block for the massaging seat, new brakes (front and rear), 3 sets of tires, and a control module for the massaging seat. I'm sure I'm forgetting something but I know the dealer lost a pile on the CPO. Loved driving it but the reliability was terrible. You have to accept that maintenance for these cars is quite expensive even when doing the work yourself. Perfectly acceptable if the reliability is good but damn....mine was really bad
Dang man. Sounds like you got a lemon. I've had my 16 S6 since 2019, so far only one motor mount has failed and control arms have been replaced, but I was expecting that + it was under warranty. I did the oil screen myself and upgraded everything in between.
One thing i would say is that the parts for the car are expensive and tunes, but that’s only because the community is smaller. Especially being a v8 twin turbo car people look passed. Same thing with the f10 550 or CLS 550. I was looking into the s6 because of the sleeper affect but i do my own research don’t really care about joining a community cause there’s always ways to look into something that fits you. Research is key 💯
Does the s tronic in this require servicing?
Funny that you should mention the inflexibility of the 4.0T community... Lol. BTW, my S6 is considerably quicker with RS7 turbos and a custom DS1 tune running E55, and I'm considering upgrading again to TS1s. It'll be interesting to see what you're working on next. Staying subscribed. :)

Definitely B9 s5 Sportback! I’m calling it :), heavier version of the S5 and S4. Eli hinted it had one turbo because he didn’t say “turboS”. And the stage 3 tuning has been blowing up for the new 3.0T. Definitely S5 SB. I’m excited!

I explained that in the video, no? It’s a LOT of money to go further than where I went! I had damn near $20k in the car already just on these simple mods + 3 sets of wheels and tires.

Unfortunately I had to take off ( was watching on my desktop ) after only making it about a minute into the video so I still haven't finished yet. I'll probably comment again or edit my initial comment to add my thought. Trust me I get switching up... I really do. I just turned 35 and iam almost at a history of 40 vehicles to my name so far. I thought with this channel though you got either free or discounted parts for rep-ing stuff in your videos? I mean that's none of my business ... I just thought you would have not had to pay retail for your mods and such. Anyways iam sure to comment or edit this once I finish the video in a little while. Iam sad I won't get to see you with rs7 turbos or something crazy but Iam sure your next venture will be fun to watch as well!
These cars are definitely expensive to maintain and yes we know the V8 is a dying breed but I agree with Daniel you didn't get fully experience it. I'm currently waiting on IE stage 3 but Stage 1/2 and E85 is fine. From watching your channel you seem to address the aesthetics. Exhaust, Intake and wheels are items that basically aren't worth it. I always believe in paying top dollar for engine components, drivetrain and tune. You can literally get an exhaust fabricated from a local shop. $10000 wheels isn't going to make a car any faster. The oem audi intake is comparable to most aftermarket intakes, just change the cone filter to a hi flow version. I only spent $6000 to get in the 600hp range. TUNE, DP, HPFP, DSG MAINTENANCE, PLUGS AND COILS, CONE FILTER, CUSTOM 3" EXHAUST AND INTERCOOLER.
To sum it all up. I love watching your content and will continue to follow but you didn't give the S6 a fair chance. It's like finding that lovely house you've always wanted then finding that your neighbors are buttholes and to make the home stand out you'll need to spend another 100k. 😅
IF iE is reading this please I beg of you to release the Stage 3 by end of summer2023............ or I will be selling my S6 as well. Lol😂 just kidding but I may be forced to go on APR's website. I'm trying to stay loyal

I love my S6 but they can be pricy to repair just had a BCM fail at $1300 to replace plus the tow bill. Overall they tend to be reliable once the turbo oil screens are out. You are right about the community the DS! guys are special but it can be fun to argue with them when the facts are on our side with IE. I think mine will be with me for 2 more years and probably getting a pair of ts1's sooner rather than later. Might move into a B9 but probably going SQ7 after this as kids get bigger
This is the route I plan on going with my S6 too. Either TS1 or +4, and I'd love to see IE do some tuning for them. It's ridiculous the power they squeezed out stock vs everyone else after parts.
He was talking about the DPs and exhaust, and it is crazy how much full kits go for. So, I just ordered IEs mid pipe and X-pipe to put on a stock sport exhaust and see how that sounds. About 1/3rd of what the AWE cost.
@@thunderch1ck3en I know IE is testing stage 3 hybrid turbos tune currently. I did the 034 x pipe and huge difference in sound either going to do cap down pipes or redstars with IE mid pipes

You'll be happy to know that Audi has finally issued a recall notice for the turbo oil screen on the S6/S7. Just got the notice for my old S6 in the mail today :)
No way, do they replace the turbos if they are in bad condition? I will need to contact my service guy
@@SirDeathstroke Audi Recall 21H7 - Oil Strainer: The letter said they don’t have repair in place yet but, a letter will be sent once one is in place. The warranty on the turbos was extended to 120,000 miles according to a previous letter I received from Audi. Definitely worth discussing with your dealer if you’re having issues
I just got mine done, and Audi say they "check" the turbos for play, and if found excessive, they'll replace. Mines was fine, so I simply got the oil screen and oil change. Highly doubt they actually check the turbos without a code being present.

Great vid as always. I’m not a huge tuner guy I just started looking into my first tune experience. My biggest issue with Audi been sound system. I’ve been to plenty places and it’s super expensive only affordable option is to keep it stock and buy subwoofers
I'm torn about what to do with my '13 S6. I've taken it from 35k miles to about 55k miles, and I love driving it. The only mod I've made is an intake from cts turbo, and I was planning on doing more. The problem is I've already spent over $3000 on a new oil separator, new spark plugs, and front pads and rotors. Now I have a check engine light P206 code intermittently, an intermittently bad rear tail light, a weird smelling coming from the car sometimes, and a rubbing noise at high speed coming from the front passenger side. My wife and I are about to buy a house, and I can't even trust that another $1000+ part isn't going to break. The wors part is that if I trade it in I only end up getting like 3k to put another down payment on

B9 s4 up next?
Like the way the car looks. Worried about:
1. The turbos going.
2. The suspension blowing.
3. The transmission being a bit clunky, needing more service intervals and the mechatronic
4. Maybe breaking axles.
No E85 where I live. It seems that most 93 tunes on an S6 run high 11s. I bought a newer (C 7.5) A6 for 10K less than a 3 year older S6 (at the time) and it does what I would like with no worry. 2 Pulleys, software, an HX and a Berk tune and it's a daily driver. This car is a match and usually edges out a Stage 1 S6 in the quarter by a car or so. Fantastic fuel economy that wasn't a concern but was unexpected.
RS7 might be better, but I'd have to pay another 10K over an S6 which was already 10k more just for the body style alone (I prefer the sedan.)
I'm eyeballing the next A/S6 platform with a turbo swap. Turbo cars like exhaust and the supercharged car doesn't respond with exhaust performance wise (cheaper for the super charged car). It was the cheapest bang for the buck I can think of when I got it outside of getting a smaller car.
Forums aren't going to make me ditch a platform. PM people who are on the same wavelength. I run APR and the world $h!t$ all over it on the forums but if you start counting blown engines, guess who has little to none? There is a lot more user data for the other brands but there are still outliers with the same year (MY16) as my car with dragy results in the 11.3s on a 93 APR tune but $h!t talkers don't bother with them.

So on the performance side what is your true opinion on The supercharged V6 versus the twin turbo 8
Owning both S4 b8.5(RIP) and s6 b7.5 I can say that the Supercharged V6 was way more fun and quick. But there's something exotic about the 4.0T. Performance wise the 3.0 is quicker but the 4.0 is faster if you get what I mean. The 3.0 has a soul and will have a grin on your face from 0 to 60 daily. The 4.0 is like a quiet IT guy that sits in the corner but comes to work and runs circles around everyone without busting a sweat.
I do like the S4 better but you'll only get 500hp max before having to start building the engine and DSG unless you have a 6spd. The C7.5 S6 is detuned RS7 w/smaller turbos so whatever limits you see on those you can expect on the S6 minus the handling of course. Once you go past 650ftlbs of torque you may wanna address the DSG clutch packs and driveshaft but I don't think the limit of the 4.0 motor will be an issue.
Okay sick, b9 sq5. Would love to see it, fast "mom" cars are the move.
It's sad more UA-cam Creators don't create more content on the upper model cars like the A/S6/7/8, 5/6/7/8 Series, and E/S Class.

I doubt you'll look at this comment but what about for someone who would just want to have the car stock power and just do simple mods like lower it, rims, exhaust, and body work?
What stinks is the S6 or S7 is my dream car as well. We know the costs, of owning it, but I'm not just there yet. Then I see someone say the same thing, then because of social ledua they are selling it. I don't have sponsors, I don't have subscribers all of which making modifications and payments much easier. It really stinks because I was excited to see the modifications done to this car and wanted to see long term goals accomplished. I can't afford to go from molded S4, to SQ5, ti S6 now to an RS3. I wish I had that kind of money just to drive my actual dream car. Sad to see you sell, but I'll never understand why people buy such nice vehicles that are "dream cars", own them for 6mths to a year then sell them to move on. Especially after modding them and driving them hard at times. Blows my mind.
I already know what the next car is ....it's the B9 S4. 034 and IE came out with the stage 3 turbo...lmao.

The other main selling point of that car is the ease to do mods both with cost and the actual work very open engine bay design
