- Donald 'Cowboy' Cerrone weighs in on what a GOOD MMA coach is.
Technique, ability, and skill level? Of course that’s important. But you need a coach that’s looking out for YOU. You’re should be looking for a manager that puts your needs in front of their own. No, I can’t tell you exactly how to find one or where to look but when you keep in mind the fact that your MMA coach works for you and that your manager works for YOU- it’ll allow you to walk away that much easier when you need to, and you can’t stay with the same team you start with, you just can’t. If you want to be in the UFC… we’ll it’s a long way to the top if you wanna rock and roll, and you need more than one or two outside opinions to get you there.

Cowboys jits been good for a long time and still getting better but I feel like hes levels past this butterfly guard positioning stuff, hopefully been really working on that stand up movement. Go get em Cowboyyy!!
Craig Jones uses butterfly gaurd and he's one of the most high level grapplers in the sport.
Butterfly guard is legit. Jean Jacques Machado, Renzo Gracie and Marcelo Garcia have all used butterfly guard; not to mention Craig jones like stated above. It is one of the best guards for smaller guys against larger opponents. There's levels to all of this "stuff".
I want to train at the ranch to get away from distractions at home an have the right eyes see my potential
Hey Cowboy I realized something today. You throw the best combos in MMA. I mean you are the golden ticket with those perfect Muay Thai combos , well from what I see mostly muay thai / kickboxing combos. I think u need to make your teep kicks faster like I do but I don't know diddly compared to yall
Bryan hamper great guy, remember his days at blue-chip mgt.
You're the man Cowboy. Anyone. Anywhere. Anytime.
One of my fav fighters . A class act sir ..
These videos are gold!!!
Cowboy would be a hell of a manager for these younger fighters once he hangs up his boots.
Looks like I need to add another jacket to the wish list. Dig the omoplata drill.
My fav. Fighter. Go Cowboy! Get that W
Cowboy.
Respect
My Role Model ❤🇺🇸 🇵🇬
I train here at my local gym with the dream of fighting for a big organization some day.
My coaches are great and If I had it my way I'd love to stay with them as long as possible.
I have a theory that they are the ones that know how my body naturally moves theve been there from day 1. I'm dumb flexible also so my technique especially in JiuJitsu is a little onorthodox because I can bend in ways other people can't.
Keep at it, and good luck on your journey👍
Like paddy the baddy
Lol. I just looked it up. They are scheduled to fight. Just found out
If you don't move around you don't learn how to deal with adversity. It's important to train as many different places as possible. Trust me. I been doing this for 22 years
@@Last_Chance. thats stupid. Nobody cares how long youve been doing it unless you have a successful ufc career
💪🏻
Cowboy please grow that fire mullet out. I will buy a ticket to your next fight vip
