    Hi there! My family is from Cambodia too. I was lucky enough to be born in the states about a week after my parents came to the states. Really enjoyed watching the Vlogs and have been debating on going to visit with my American husband. My moms family is from Battambang so it was nice seeing that portion of your Vlog! I think it might be a bit of a shock to him though lol! Just curious, did you speak a lot of Khmer in your home growing up? My parents were really worried I wouldn’t know how to speak Khmer growing up so at home they only spoke to me in Khmer. I know a lot of my other Cambodian friends can understand but they don’t really know how to speak it. Your family in Cambodia seems to speak English pretty well!

    I hate to tell you what to do but when you go to the wedding ceremony why don't you dress up especially you from America the reason you need to dress up because you need to show that you respect the ceremony and your friends you see every one at the ceremony dress even though they poor they need to look good for that day you make us disappointed

    • @saviyou
      @saviyou  6 років тому +2

      Again another khmerican who thinks they know more than anyone else. They don’t mind how I was dressed, they were happy I was there, and they were EXTREMELY happy when I chong dai. I had to travel light so I only brought one dress shirt and it got a little stinky because it's hot in Cambodia, so they washed it for me. I was waiting for it to dry but I did change into it later 15:10 ...this is video only showing part of the day.
