Absolutely! I'm going for my DNP in behavioral health (PMHNP). My thesis is going to be application of Eastern/Asian medicine and modalities as a primary treatment modality for CPTSD and PTSD. It's great to hear real-world examples of these access to emotional release!

As a person with OCD, I am aware that I am naturally am not having enough serotonin, one of the 4 chemicals in our brains thst give us happiness. This chemical is connected with us feel safe. Endorphins is a very helpful way to make more serotonin. I am less obsessive after exercises. This is exactly what this video talks about. Thank you for making this video.

As someone diagnosed with OCD, can i offer my input? I believe we were not born with it, and thus we are not naturally serontonin-deficient, or any chemical for that matter. OCD can be developed from extended trauma, complex or not, which in of itself can cause an imbalance of chemicals overtime, not the other way round. We need to work on our trauma but also to break the habit of OCD that was developed and strengthened overtime after adverse events. Just my two cents. Trauma is actually the cause of many so-called mental health diagnosis. Try not to owe the label, or believe too much in the mainstream medical and pharmaceutical narrative. You can heal.

@@shawnleong3605 this true, and at the same time, things like meditation can help you. When I had my traumatic brain injury, I did need some anxiety pills so that I could manage myself enough so that I could work myself. Now that I have done the work, I no longer need the help, but I will not feel "weak" for using something that clearly needed to get why I currently am.
I am tired of posts that are one dimension based, yes/no or black/white thinking. I think we need to evolve from this thinking to percentages, showing that we are complex. Some of you might need an anxiety pill to help you to do the work you need to do while some of you can do this without medical or natural pills. OCD like most things is a spectrum, meaning that the levels of OCD and how much OCD controls you.

Is this video connected to the launch of Wisdom of Trauma? Regardless, I super appreciate the video! 🙏 I stand by the deep somatic work.

I agree and disagree. You mention that people aren't journaling, honestly I journal all the time; it helps my psyche to release and I also enjoy experiencing body movements in certain areas. Nevertheless, I haven't had a somatic session, but I think that's where I should research and experience next. Ultimately, thank you for the insights... very enlightening and helpful. Peace

Going thru SEVERE trama ALL year this year. I had sinus surgery and was prescribed Levofloxacin for an infection preventative. Needless to say, I am have been crippled from the past 4months due to its disable effects to the tendons. Im in constant pain in the limbs and KNEES omg if I try to walk it hurts so bad. Not to mention, the levofloxacin demolished my body's ability to FIGHT and I ended up with a surgery infection in sinuses that will not respond to TWO rounds of 22 DAYS of antibiotics which I HATE I HATE I HATE to ruin my health with! I have THREE days left of these antibiotics and WILL NOT go to a doctor EVER again and WILL NOT get on antibiotics EVER!!! I am still having some yellow crud get stuck in my nose and partially stuffy at times.
What do you suggest to heal my BODY from the disabling effects of Levofloxacin not only physically but also internally AND NASALY(lol)? I went plant based vegan 10years ago and was in the PRIME of my life in regards to health AND fitness before having this sinus surgery and before being prescribed LEvofloxacin. It stripped me of my passion and LOVE of health and fitnees and ultimately stripped me of... ME. Please help, bc I REFuSE to live this sedentary life.
