    I like the added light and build quallity, on the power input it make is easier to have multiple units that use different voltages, I have the Pecron E600LFP 36volt on charging, which has me in a bind right now at getting to where I would like to be because of cost of things around me right now, I am not able to get to an ac outlet to charge all the time. Things are looking geting a little better for me, just have to keep the Doc's happy and keep on my feet.

    Another well done video, thank you for the work.
    My takes: nice looking unit, love the extra lights and setup pole, specs are a good range for a very portable unit, I like the use of XT60 connectors.
    I do not like the lack of wireless (my preference), the PV input is too low @ 300 watts (lowest in this and many smaller capacity units), and as in many 1500 Wh units, the PV voltage/amp range is too low to usually reach the spec. This unit would be easy to reach 300 watts, but just because it is so low.
    Bottom line: Another good option for whatever one's needs are and the price is better than most for what you get. Thanks again.

    Just a thought. When doing the interference test on the guitar amp have the power station plugged in to the main to provide earth. Just plugged in with mains switched off so no charging takes place. I've had stand alone inverters that caused interference noise that went away when grounded.

      That's a fair point and something I'll definitely try.

    • @rundajulesproductions7735
      @rundajulesproductions7735 2 місяці тому

      I am new to this subject and terminology so please forgive my ignorance, but are you saying it won't make that noise if you are not charging at the same time you are trying to power the amp? And secondly are you saying there is no way to be charging the power station (like through a solar panel) w/o the inverter adding noise into a speaker you are using AC to power? I'm trying to use this to do a live sound set up and it defeats the purpose if it's all loud and buzzy. That is for the people listening to the music.

    • @Gravitational234
      @Gravitational234 2 місяці тому

      @@rundajulesproductions7735 I can't say for that specific product as I don't have it, but providing a ground is a way of getting rid of noise in some scenarios. Nothing to do with any charging as such. The mains cable is simply being used to ground the power station.

    Excellent presentation. Thank you. Remove two (or three or four) of the AC outlets and give us more 12v options at 10amps or more - 5521 or XT60 perhaps. I basically wont buy a unit now for car/van/truck camping that only has a cig outlet as a 12v output option - this outlet is honestly crap. This unit is too small for a "home backup" and six 120v outlets is complete overkill on this size of unit, in my humble opinion, since it wont run 120v for very long at all.

    • @ingalway
      @ingalway 2 місяці тому

      I agree with you on this - too many AC outlets for the inverter size. Do you have a recommendation on a unit that is better suited to car camping please?

    • @markmonroe7330
      @markmonroe7330 2 місяці тому

      @@ingalwayAs of today, the Pecron units seems to have more 12v output options and lean towards better 12v car/van/truck camping. Bluetti and Jackery both have removed most of the varied 12v output options on their newer units. If you are going to run fridges, compressors, lights and other 12v stuff - you need some solid higher amp output options. For 120v output, all you need is a $10 power strip and you can plug in 10 things. You dont need 8-10 outlets on the unit itself. It Isn't that easy with 12v stuff.

  • @InGratitudeIam

    When plugging in my 12v car adaptor and running on the c800plus it seems to turn off. Havent done an indepth look into why but im figuring that even with setting at never off.
    The 12v has a timer or countdown on it.
    Or the fridge turns off when cold enough and the unit doesnt recognise the requirement from the fridge or
    It cuts off when under a a certain percentage.
    I have mind u run to zero and its obviously cut off. But with charge im still experiencing shutdown of fridge.
    Firmwares updated. Maybe on that front there maybe a workaround.
    Anyone else experiencing this ?
    Nice video.
    Interesting the AC doesnt restart if the power craps out on recharging
    That would be a nice little tweak anker👍

  • @jouwklappik

    So i have a question: there is an SOS mode in the app. The test you provided for the inverter sections i understand very clearly. What does the SOS function do. And say you connect solar panels and leave the SOS function on for 24hrs does the SOS mode stay enabled even if the charge cuts itself off due to sunlight exposure on the solar panels (night time)? And can you charge the lamps via USB-c or only via the dock. is so does the SOS function also work on the flashlights? the reason why i'm asking if the flashlights are USB charged and also work on the SOS function is due to pairing and charing say overnight. once the lights are removed from the dock they will lose power during the night. if you could charge them via USB-c this would be partially eliminated.

  • @user-McGiver

    generic questions here: I know we call these ''solar generators'' but actually they are power stations... solar oriented because they include a solar controller, my questions are: can we use a wind turbine to charge them instead?... if yes, should it be the same Watts the suggested solar panels are? do we need to use a wind controller? [and what's the difference between a solar and a wind controller?], where should we connect the charging cable? and last one should it be better a 12V or a 24V turbine?...
    Can you make a dedicated video explaining that?...
    Thank you!

I would buy the R1500 over the Anker C800, but would definitely buy the Anker C800 over the Jackery 500. To me the manufacturer is intentionally misleading the buyer. If the container says a quart of milk I expect a quart of milk. I prefer to watch reviews of items purchased by the reviewer.
