    Have just returned home (Odisha) from the Netherlands. I currently ride my old 2010 Suzuki GS150R here, and was eyeing this ever since it got launched. Have watched many videos but no one has come even close to what you have done in this video. Thanks for really going that extra mile to do this test (I know how much effort goes into this!). This will really be helpful for everyone - newbies and old-timers alike, especially while touring! Thanks again, and subscribing for more!

      Glad to hear that ❤️ Also, you will be pleased to know that our test bike is from the first batch, AND our Road Test Editor, Syed Shiraz, has ridden over a thousand km until now with absolutely ZERO problems 😃 That also means you may expect a lot of such helpful content on the bike in the next few days 😃

    Thanks for the information and demonstration that there are other ways to ride than "full throttle, abuse to maximum revs, change gear, any gear or no idea!" type of amateur examples overloading the RE Himalayan youtube searches. You, along with YakeenOnMe (Royal Enfield Himalayan 450: Ownership Review and Issues) are the only reviews I have seen where the rider may actually own the Himalayan and is riding in a manner that most owner riders will. Yakeen seems to be sticking to break-in/running in procedure and your example showed no issues riding at a moderate pace without the need for high engine speeds. ( Nice to see an old RD350 - I only had two RD250's A and E models before getting XS750 /1100E and black XS1100s - maybe why I ordered the Hanle Black in uk next year) Looking forward to some more 'real world' riding and seeing if this is as good as I hope. Best wishes and a happy new year - (would love to visit Pune, Mahabaleshwar again and see the RE in it's homeland. Regards, Dave

      Thanks a lot, Dave! You have no idea how happy I am to read everything that you wrote! Thank you so much! You're so right about the majority of videos on this bike. No one is actually putting out videos for the actual end user. You will be glad to know that I am bringing a full-fledged running-in video as well of this bike soon! Have also published a turning radius video and also a tractability video as well where you can see the minimum speeds in each gear without lugging. Do check those two as well and in the meantime I shall be uploading the next one 😃 And so nice to hear that you had the 250 A and E! Beautiful bikes those, including the 400 E as well. Here in India we only got the 350 and it still remains the most coveted bike even for people who have a few liter class missiles in their garages as well! So glad to be connected with you, and, yes, please keep me posted whenever you plan to come to India next.
      Regards,
      Shiraz

    Any idea what happens to all these press bikes?do they get sold as well.
    Awaiting delivery in February

      You're most welcome ❤️ Some manufacturers service them and sell it a huge discounted price (with full transparency that these are press bikes. And the same treatment is given to the demo bikes). A few manufacturers scrap them. I think RE does the latter too 😐

      Don't keep it in the Eco mode until the third service. Thereafter, you may.

    with all due respect sir,,,,i really like your content but please stop mentioning anyone specific who is making a video of reviews, they might have there own opinion , it depends upon rider to rider , i will give you an example how that test was not illogical, you might find a youtuber Tiger koul from Maharashtra , he rides triumph tiger 850, and on his way to Nepal trip , he was not able to ride in 1,2,3rd & 4th gear, he was only able to shift between 5th and 6th gear, so this can happen to anyone, very rare but yes its possible....you have a very good knowledge , please keep making informational videos like this ,,,,thank you ,,,,

    • @NewsXAuto
      @NewsXAuto  5 місяців тому +1

      Disagreed. That test is absolutely illogical and damaging to the bike. It should NOT be done. Period. As far as someone not able to ride in 1-4 gears like you mentioned, it would be due to rider error or a faulty gearbox. Sometimes you have to push a punctured vehicle, that doesn't mean we'll start puncturing the press bikes and push it / ride it and say "we did this test to check how far you can go on a punctured tyre." That would be illogical, just like that test. In those rarest cases, if a person has to continue in 5th or 6th gear, he would. Any vehicle will do it. You don't need a "test" to ascertain that. You don't need to damage media bikes for that.

    • @bhanuyadav3451
      @bhanuyadav3451 5 місяців тому

      Agreed totally sir, like test was unnecessary and he could have told verbally for riders like me who doesn't know if we can continue in higher gears instead of damaging the bike by doing that@@NewsXAuto
