We live close to the West Gate of NAS so we are definitely under the flight path of the Blue Angels. It’s nice to see the practice without leaving the house, but they are definitely loud.
I’m not actually familiar with where the former Marriott was located. This was under one of the pavilions on the beach. You should come visit again soon Sherrie! 😊

@umkc73the beaches here have lifeguards all year, they just scale way down after Labor Day as the tourist season slows down. Johnson’s Beach in Perdido doesn’t have the lifeguard towers like Pensacola Beach, but I’ve seen lifeguards patrol the beach in April.
