In addition to the 2.4 GHz connection, the mini also pairs up to three Bluetooth devices. Which means this mouse can pair up to four devices whereas the MX anywhere can only pair up to three.
I actually quite like the removable batteries. It means the lifespan of the mouse is longer because no spicy pillows, and the batteries are easy enough to find. For me who uses such a mouse for laptop on the go as the Mini is designed for, I don't have to spare a USB port or cable to charge it, i just pop in new batteries once a year and go.
I think AA batteries are the best solution for mouse, nihm batteries are quite popular and most people have them at home... and we will avoid problem that after 3-6 years battery does not work anymore and whole device has to be replaced because it is impossible to replace battery...
It seems to be a sound opinion at first, but think about it: Firstly, Logitech claims their mx anywhere 2/3 can last for 70 days per full charge, let say it is not true and 35 days is a more practical number. It means that we have to charge it 10 times per year. Normally Li-po battery lifespan is around 300 charge cycles, but we assume a more conservative estimation: 200 cycles. So a rechargeable battery can last for 20 years and up to that time I think most of users have already replaced their mice for several times already. Secondly, even if we can replace the mouse's battery indefinitely, the optical lens will not last long forever. LED, the light source for the lens, is good for around 50000 hours, if we use mouse 8 or 10 hours per day, the mouse will say goodbye after 20 years (quite close to the dead time of the rechargeable battery).
@@shoppingbuyer9555 G305 for example lasts 250 hours in full performance mode with 1 battery. If you use it 6 hours a day, 7 days a week, that would be about 6 weeks of use time. So you have to charge or change the battery about 9 times a year at max. If you now use 200 charge cycles that would mean a lifespan of 22 years.
@@shoppingbuyer9555 Don't forget that batteries deteriorate with age too. More real is that after 2 years it will last only 15 days. And after 3years only 5 days. I much better buy a regular AA and have no worries for a 6month For 5 years it's only 10 batteries at max.
Plus if you use it over wireless dongle for games it drain it twice a fast. So you will have to charge it more often. Very annoying for me to have wired mouse.
like the disposable battery batteries so you can use it forever vs no charge possible in a dead internal lithium battery in a year for failing batteries. but i prefer a wireless charging dock but that isn’t travel friendly. wish it came with a braided cable for emergencies pro mini click has tilt wheel and better sensors so i bought it over the mx anywhere 3
I bought this mouse to use for college, its nice but the biggest issue is the scroll click button will sometimes not register unless you push really hard.
looks more like Anywhere MX 1 then MX 2/3, that one also used to have 2 AA batteries and a compartment for a usb dongle inside, also had a very satisfying on/off switch combined with sensor cover/shutter
i disagree , at this stage you should have a box of asorted rechargable batterys at hand, everything from your remotes to xbox controlers, ive never bought alkaline batterys ever,
the biggest gripe i have with this mouse is the damn scroll wheel. I really dont care about the noise it makes but the damn scroll wheel is waaaay to hard to rotate. i sometimes accidently click the wheel while trying to scroll. Also the free spool is pretty garbage. If i pick up my mouse off the mouse pad and put it back down the free spool setting is so free that it actaully scrolls without me even using the wheel. My 15 dollar logitech mouse from walmart has a faaar superior scroll wheel. ALSO the side buttons are too far to the rear of the mouse. i feel like i have to cock my thumb back which takes my fingers out of alighnment of the clickers. Just switching the rear button to the most forward position would be way better.
No issues on my end for the mx anywhere 3. Try contacting Logitech if it is still under warranty. I have had great experiences with their customer service :)
@@BBTTech contacted their 3rd party techs here in the Philippines as their official supplier but had no luck with them. For me the scroll wheel was unreliable. When doing consecutive fast scroll movements the scroll do weird things like advancing slow or even bouncing between the direction you want to scroll and the opposite.
yes, i play league and starcraft at a very high level and it replaced my mouse. razer had the atheris mouse, which was a hybrid for gaming and office work and now they split it into two versions: razer orochi v2 and this one the pro click mini, but its just regarding the advertisement, this one is hardware wise very suited for gaming if you like the weight, size and form aand the silent switches
All mice should run off aa batterys its a no brainer unless you want very light mice, so hard to find a gameing mouse that takes aa, i have rechargable batterys ready to go in a second.
its not rechargable and not entirely silent??? bruh who tf made these decisions... for that price point as well.. guess ill look into the logi mx anywhere instead edit: also it doesnt look very ergonomic
Using batteries was the whole point of the mouse, people hated charging with a wire in the bigger pro click. Do some background research before doing a review! And you really should compare it to Atheris.
This guy I think needs to go back to school. Rechargable batteries are cheap, but lithium ion batteries won't last as long over time instead of disposable batteries.

The quieter clicks are nice but the sound of that scroll wheel is brutal
there are rechargeable battery that can charge through USB port.
Perfect for low power consumption peripherals
The MX Anywhere original mouse does have a storage port for the receiver. That is a good older mouse for transpo.

thank you for the sound test. It's still audibly loud?
im going to use it on my gaming pc + my ipad, wich is better choice logitech or razer? or the orochi v2 better? 🤔
Why the razer is jumping so much while clicking on minute 03:37 🙄it does not look like it has a good build quality
In-built rechargeable battery would have been great.

Does it need the software to connect via dongle? Thanks for the review.
If only the Razer Orochi has that scroll wheel feature.

Are the Razer Pro series comes up with a software that similar to Logitech Options?
From my experience, they are more or less pretty similar
I buy this recently, and feel good. I will comment here again if it doesn't work well.
I'm still trying to find a mouse that it smallish and light and doesn't have loud clicky sounds xD preferably ambidextrous
imagine being a tech enthusiast and not already having an AA NI-MH battery charger ...

does this have the same coating as GPX ?
is this a new Aetheris?
Is this good for fps gaming?
can you set the lift-off distance to 1mm for this mouse?
Is it's Hyperscroll as good as the Bsilisk V3 Pro's Hyperscroll in the infinite scroll mode.
Buy a rechargeable lithium for it.
God bless.
What on a table?
