Thank you so much for this. I got the G29 and Forza for my special needs son. Now he can just roam around like a crazy driver, but absolutely loves it....especially because I have a 3 screen setup for him. Your video got all of my settings quickly fixed. Now my son has a video game he can play.
Best setting i find on you tube! Tks for sharing with us ! i have litle problems but i think this are from me. It,s hard to drive those cars. Almost every time i go out from the road :)))
The simulation racers are easier to drive than Forza, because Forza isoptimized for the controller. I'd recommend try Automobilista 2 for starters. I'm new to car driving in general and i am a noob who is scared to play online. I can't drive irl just yet, but I'm definitely having great fun with Automobilista 2 with this g29 wheel. I believe i learnt to drive from watching a few tutorials alone about how to use the clutch to shift. I used paddles to shift until later on when i learnt how to use the H shifter (with the help of another UA-cam video)
The only really useful take-away here is the Center spring setting in G-Hub - this eliminated the strange dampening/centering effect that was still present with 0 Dampening and center spring set in forza, The rest of this video is preferential and some settings are pretty odd.
For me it doesn't eleminate that problem. No matter what i set in GHub, after exiting Forza the Center Spring setting is resetted and i have to reset the wheel by plugging it out and in again :/
You can try to turn off Vibration, Set Steering Deadzone outside to 75, set Steering Linearity to 46 which you doest need to have much wheel rotate physically. Set Off-road feel scale to 0 until you familiar the off-road wheel drive then can adjust it back again. You can also lower down your Mechanical Trail Scale, mine was 0.8. The force feedback setting is really depend personal preference, you can play around that if you feel it too strong/weak to handle in road/offroad. Hope this help.
Anyone new to this video and still having issue with 900° steering rotation set advanced controls to default and change outside steering dead zone to 50 and force feedback to 1.2 this is what I use on my logitech g923
Mine is still going crazy. WASD much more better for this game. It sux with Logitech G29. Ill keep playing Euro Truck Simulator 2. Forza needs to learn much about it.
My g29 works on any game perfectly fine except forza. It is hard to steer the car and when gas pedal is used car looks like its hesitating to go and rpms go from redline to 0 with no car movement even when in gear. Any help ?
this video helped me at first but then i uninstalled the game and got it again recently. the ffb is weird even with these settings and the wheel wont unwind on its own like it used to. please help if you can
I've got a problem, i setted all the advanced controls as you said, but i can't customize my profile like i can't press some buttons(I've got the g29) the buttons are: cross, square, triangle and circle and the plus and the minus, how do i fix that?
I have problem with manual clutch i try settings in difficulty from automatic to manual with clutch but i have setting two clutch in levers and pedals please help how i off clutch in levers?
In my opinion this is a incredibly bad setting for the g29. The car has too much steering sensibility and it's like the asphalt is always wet. Off road the wheel is completely useless
Why do I see so many people doing the light weight feeling settings. I want it to feel like I'm driving without power steering, all the bumps and have to really fight the thing.

Also in menu is not hard to turn left and right, but when i am on track its much heavier to steer. Im using g29. Pls help😟😟
center and wheel damper to 0 makes no sense , a normal steering wheel would autocorrect it self to default position after u let go usually, same with damper
@@iliasahmaoui5924 yes just like irl , i have center spring @ 1.4 , especially if u want to drift u have to have it higher because u cant turn your wheel that fast, so you just let it slide through you hands so to speak
Center spring is a canned effect like the name suggests it feels like your wheel is connected to a spring and will always want to center itself no matter what so if you want a more real feel it makes 100% sense to turn it off
Hello, I have a logitech g920 wheel and I play forza horizon 5 with xbox sx, everything is normal and there is little delay between the image and the movement of the steering wheel, but when I crash, the vibration of the steering wheel transmits the impact much faster than the image!! ! That means first the steering wheel shakes and then I see the accident! what is the reason???? What should I change to fix it??? Please help me, I will say a few things: The wheel has been updated. I connect the wheel cable to the usb in front of the console, my TV is x90 j. And I play in game mode with VRR turned on. I don't have another game in which the command is tested.
Hey buddy! This is Image Input Lag from your TV or old Monitor. If you are really using a TV, I recommend you doing a little research on your TV's Model and to check for some "game mode" image setting. This should reduce this infamous Input Lag a little. The best option is to have a modern PC Monitor with high refresh rate, if possible. Good luck and cheers!
Actual shit settings. Drifting doesn't work, because the wheel wont countersteer, extremely floaty, and the edge of grip just isn't really there. Now, I got actual good settings, that I know are good, because I am able to somewhat compare them to much more realistic games, like assetto corsa and beamng.

You play with those settings normally?
Turn all the assist stuff off on any racing game. You want the car not a computer.
